通过实验对向列相液晶中的非局域空间光孤子的传输进行了研究。理论上基于非线性的液晶孤子传输方程,采用高斯形式的试探解,得到了孤子传输的解析解,以及对液晶中的非局域孤子和Snyder等提出的强非局域孤子模型的结果进行了比较。实验上,观察了空间光孤子在向列相液晶中的传输,找到了不同束宽下空间光孤子的临界功率。比如束宽为2μm时临界功率为2.0mW。观察了向列相液晶中空间光孤子的弛豫过程,并注意到液晶分子的响应时间长达几秒钟,液晶中的孤子形成速度较慢。  相似文献

对向列相液晶中非局域空间孤子的传输进行了理论研究.基于非线性液晶孤子传输方程,采用Gauss形式的试探解,不仅得到了空间孤子的解析解,而且还在临界功率附近得到了呼吸子的解析解.通过数值模拟证明我们的结果比Conti和Assanto等人的结果更合理.同时,对液晶中的非局域孤子模型和Snyder等提出的强非局域孤子模型进行了全面的比较. 关键词: 向列相液晶 空间孤子 非局域非线性 呼吸子  相似文献

Argon ion irradiation enhanced diffusion between Cu and Ni was found beyond the radiation effect zone in classical theory. The enhanced diffusion effect attenuates along with the distance between the diffusion zone and the radiated surface. An interpretation based on irradiation induced discrete breathers was employed as a possible mechanism.  相似文献

We study numerically Akhmediev breather dynamics in optical fibers under initial conditions that do not correspond to an ideal infinitesimal modulation on a plane wave. We examine two modifications that are commonly encountered in realistic experiments: (i) a finite-amplitude (not necessarily weak) initial modulation; (ii) the use of pulsed excitation. In the first case, we derive an expression for the propagation distance required to generate a train of compressed breather pulses. In the second case, we show that breather dynamics with pulsed excitation can be interpreted in terms of local breather states at different points on the pulse envelope.  相似文献

研究了强光导引的弱光呼吸子传输问题. 尽管弱光本身的非线性效应可以忽略, 但强光通过强非局域非线性效应会对弱光形成约束并与弱光本身的衍射效应达到动态平衡, 从而形成呼吸子. 得到了弱光呼吸子的解析表达式, 在此基础上分析了其束宽的呼吸演化规律, 并对弱光呼吸子整体轨迹的形状、方位、旋向等性质进行了系统的研究.  相似文献

It is shown that for an interesting class of perturbation functions, at most one of the continuum of sine-Gordon breathers can persist for the perturbed equation. This question is much more subtle than the question of persistence of large portions of the family, because analytic continuation arguments in the amplitude parameter are no longer available. Instead, an asymptotic analysis of the obstructions to persistence for large Fourier orders is made, and it is connected to the asymptotic behaviour of the Taylor coefficients of the perturbation function by means of an inverse Laplace transform and an integral transform whose kernel involves hypergeometric functions in a way that is degenerate in that asymptotic analysis involves a splitting monkey saddle. Only first order perturbation theory enters into the argument. The reasoning can in principle be carried over to other perturbation functions than the ones considered here.

We investigate a (2+1)-dimensional shallow water wave equation and describe its nonlinear dynamical behaviors in physics. Based on the N-soliton solutions, the higher-order fissionable and fusionable waves, fissionable or fusionable waves mixed with soliton molecular and breather waves can be obtained by various constraints of special parameters. At the same time, by the long wave limit method, the interaction waves between fissionable or fusionable waves with higher-order lumps are acquired. Combined with the dynamic figures of the waves, the properties of the solution are deeply studied to reveal the physical significance of the waves.  相似文献

In this paper, bi-solitons, breather solution family and rogue waves for the (2+1)-Dimensional nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equations are obtained by using Exp-function method. These solutions derived from one unified formula which is solution of the standard (1+1) dimension nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equation. Further, based on the solution obtained by other authors, higher-order rational rogue wave solution are obtained by using the similarity transformation. 基于自聚焦的非线性薛定谔方程,研究了自陡峭效应和自频移效应对Peregrine怪波(PS)、Akhmediev呼吸子(AB)和Kuznetsov-Ma孤子(KMS)传输特性的影响。数值模拟结果表明:这两种效应使三种有限背景解分裂加快,相邻最大压缩脉冲间的距离减小,脉冲中心发生偏移,且参数越大,分裂得越早,脉冲中心偏移量越大。  相似文献

A variable-coefficient coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation in an averaged dispersion-managed birefringent fiber is investigated. Based on the one-to-one correspondence between variable-coefficient and constant-coefficient equations, an analytical breather solution is derived. As an example to exhibit dynamical behaviors of solution, its controllable excitations including rear excitation, peak excitation and initial excitation are discussed.  相似文献
