《液晶与显示》是中国最早创办的液晶学科专业期刊,也是中国惟一的液晶学科和显示技术领域中综合性专业学术期刊。它由中国科学院长春光学精密机械与物理研究所、中国光学光电子行业协会液晶专业分会和中国物理学会液晶分会主办,科学出版社出版。《液晶与显示》以研究报告、研究快报、综合评述和产品信息等栏目集中报道国内外液晶学科和显示技术领域中最新理论研究、科研成果和创新技术,及时反映国内外本学科领域及产业信息动态,是宣传、展示我国该学科领域和产业科技创新实力与硕果,进行国际交流的平台。本刊是英国《科学文摘》     

美国的五套教材

我们这里说的五套中学数学教材是:[1]Contemporary(当代的)Mathematics in Context(与背景相联系的)(Core-Plus).编者:Coxford等,1998;[2]Interactive(交互的、互相影响的)Mathematics Pro-gram.编者:Fendel and Resek,1997;[3]Math Connections(联系):A Secondary Mathematics Core Curriculum(核心课程).编者:Berlinghoff,Sloyer,and Hayden,2000;[4]Mathematics:Modeling(给…建立模型)OurWorld(ARISE).编者:Garfunkel,Godbold and Pollak,1998;[5]SIMMS Integrated(综合的,整体的,互相协调的)Mathematics:A Modeling Approach(模型方法)Using Technology.编者:Lott and Burke,1996.     

党和国家领导人珍爱珠算

我们党和国家领导人历来重视珠算的作用。1972年周恩来总理与李政道博士谈话中指出：“要告诉下面．不要把算盘丢掉、猴子吃桃子最危险”。1979年薄一波同志为《珠算》杂志创刊号题词时也指出：“算盘是我国的传统计算工具。一千多年以来在金融贸易和人民生活等方面起了重要作用。用算与与用电子计算札并不矛盾。现在还应充分发挥算盘的功能．为我国经济建没事业服务。”《珠算》杂志1980年第一期刊登了“陈云同志在杭州打算盘”的照片。
