For a probability distribution on a Banach space, we introduce a family of central balls, indexed by their radius, using a proximity criterion close to those defining the spatial median. It is shown that these balls possess robustness and equivariance properties similar to those of the spatial median. They provide a multivariate generalization of the real interquantile intervals and can be interpreted as trimmed regions.  相似文献

The stationary and time-dependent aerodynamic coefficients of a slender blunt cone with a flap located near the base section of the model are experimentally investigated. The freestream parameters (M = 6, Re L = 0.88 × 107, and γ = 1.4) ensured a turbulent regime of flow over the conical surface and the flap. At high angles of attack (α ~ 10°) laminar-turbulent transition is observable in the separation zone on the leeward side of the body. Emphasis is placed on the determination of the trimming angles of attack for different positions of the center of rotation and the static and dynamic stability coefficients (the model oscillation damping coefficient).  相似文献

Impeller trimming is an economical method for broadening the range of application of a given pump, but it can destroy operational stability and efficiency. In this study, entropy production theory was utilized to analyze the variation of energy loss caused by impeller trimming based on computational fluid dynamics. Experiments and numerical simulations were conducted to investigate the energy loss and fluid-induced radial forces. The pump’s performance seriously deteriorated after impeller trimming, especially under overload conditions. Energy loss in the volute decreased after trimming under part-load conditions but increased under overload conditions, and this phenomenon made the pump head unable to be accurately predicted by empirical equations. With the help of entropy production theory, high-energy dissipation regions were mainly located in the volute discharge diffuser under overload conditions because of the flow separation and the mixing of the main flow and the stalled fluid. The increased incidence angle at the volute’s tongue after impeller trimming resulted in more serious flow separation and higher energy loss. Furthermore, the radial forces and their fluctuation amplitudes decreased under all the investigated conditions. The horizontal components of the radial forces in all cases were much higher than the vertical components.  相似文献

The C-type dipole prototypes in the injection beam line from a Separate Sector Cyclotron (SSC) to Cooling Storage Ring (CSR) are selected as R & D for CSR magnets fabrication, because they have large bending angle and small radius, and are very difficult to stack and fabricate. A method to obtain good field homogeneity has been attempted in the C-type dipole prototype. This method is not the enlarged dipole pole but two imbedded conductors and two small power supplies. In this paper we investigate a new class of central regions for probability distributions on Rd, called weighted-mean regions. Their restrictions to an empirical distribution are the weighted-mean trimmed regions investigated by Dyckerhoff and Mosler (2011) for d-variate data. We define a new family of central regions with respect to a probability measure. They are induced by a set or a family of sets of functions and we name them integral trimmed regions. The halfspace trimming and the zonoid trimming are particular cases of integral trimmed regions. We focus our work on the derivation of properties of such integral trimmed regions from conditions satisfied by the generating classes of functions. Further we show that, under mild conditions, the population integral trimmed region of a given depth can be characterized in terms of certain regions based on empirical distributions.  相似文献

受微加工工艺条件限制,MEMS敏感结构的尺寸等关键参数的相对误差较大,使其在宏观上表现出非理想的运动特性,性能指标也难以满足高精度应用的要求。为消除加工误差的影响,分析了一种MEMS陀螺仪的运动特性和误差耦合机理,提出了一种通过飞秒激光对敏感结构的梁进行刻蚀修调的方法。MEMS陀螺修调前后的运动特性试验表明,修调后的误差系数比修调前降低了50%以上,而误差的稳定性则比修调前提高了约70%,证明提出的飞秒激光刻蚀方法能够抑制微加工误差的影响,提高MEMS陀螺仪的性能。  相似文献
