The thermal effect accompanying the transition of Cu2–xSe into a superionic conduction state was studied by non-isothermal measurements, at different heating and cooling rates (β=1, 2.5, 5, 10 and 20°C min–1). During heating the peak temperature (Tp) remains almost stable for all values of β, (136.8±0.4°C for Cu2Se and 133.0±0.3°C for Cu1.99Se). A gradual shift of the initiation of the transformation towards lower temperatures is observed, as the heating rate increases. During cooling there is a significant shift in the position of the peak maximum (Tp) towards lower temperatures with the increase of the cooling rate. A small hysteresis is observed, which increases with the increase of the cooling rate, β. The mean value of transformation enthalpy was found to be 30.3±0.8 J g–1 for Cu2Se and 28.9±0.9 J g–1 for Cu1.99Se. The transformation can be described kinetically by the model f(ǯ)=(1–ǯ)n(1+kcatX), with activation energy E=175 kJ mol–1, exponent value n equal to 0.2, logA=20 and log(kcat)= 0.5.  相似文献

In generalization of special cases of the literature a class of stochastic processes (PMP) is defined with an imbedded stochastic marked point process of “basic points” which must not be renewal points. A theorem (“intensity conservation principle”) has been proved concerning a relation between stationary distribution of PMP at arbitrary points in time and distributions and intensities connected with the basic points. This relationship simultaneously yields a general method for determination of stationary quantities at arbitrary points in time by means of the corresponding “imbedded” quantities. Some applications to concrete queueing systems have been demonstrated, where arrival or departure epochs of customers are used as basic points. Under weaker independence assumptions as till now done in the literature, new relations are given.  相似文献

Count data appears in many research fields and exhibits certain features that make modeling difficult. Most popular approaches to modeling count data can be classified into observation and parameter-driven models. In this paper, we review two models from these classes: the log-linear multivariate conditional intensity model (also referred to as an integer-valued generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedastic model) and the non-linear state-space model for count data. We compare these models in terms of forecasting performance on simulated data and two real datasets. In simulations, we consider the case of model misspecification. We find that both models have advantages in different situations, and we discuss the pros and cons of inference for both models in detail.  相似文献

One of the major challenges associated with the measurement of customer lifetime value is selecting an appropriate model for predicting customer future transactions. Among such models, the Pareto/negative binomial distribution (Pareto/NBD) is the most prevalent in noncontractual relationships characterized by latent customer defections; ie, defections are not observed by the firm when they happen. However, this model and its applications have some shortcomings. Firstly, a methodological shortcoming is that the Pareto/NBD, like all lifetime transaction models based on statistical distributions, assumes that the number of transactions by a customer follows a Poisson distribution. However, many applications have an empirical distribution that does not fit a Poisson model. Secondly, a computational concern is that the implementation of Pareto/NBD model presents some estimation challenges specifically related to the numerous evaluation of the Gaussian hypergeometric function. Finally, the model provides 4 parameters as output, which is insufficient to link the individual purchasing behavior to socio‐demographic information and to predict the behavior of new customers. In this paper, we model a customer's lifetime transactions using the Conway‐Maxwell‐Poisson distribution, which is a generalization of the Poisson distribution, offering more flexibility and a better fit to real‐world discrete data. To estimate parameters, we propose a Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithm, which is easy to implement. Use of this Bayesian paradigm provides individual customer estimates, which help link purchase behavior to socio‐demographic characteristics and an opportunity to target individual customers.  相似文献

This paper deals with the portfolio selection problem of risky assets with a diagonal covariance matrix, upper bounds on all assets and transactions costs. An algorithm for its solution is formulated which terminates in a number of iterations that is at most three times the number of assets. The efficient portfolios, under appropriate assumptions, are shown to have the following structure. As the risk tolerance parameter increases, an asset's holdings increases to its target, then stays there for a while, then increases to its upper bound, reaches it and stays there. Then the holdings of the asset with the next highest expected return proceeds in a similar way and so on.  相似文献
