Skew Brownian motion-type of extensions

We consider a class of possible extensions of a given symmetric Feller processZ _t fromR{0} to the entire real lineR, depending on a parameter [0, 1]. It is proved that the proposed extension exists if =1/2; for 1/2, exists if and only ifZ _t does not jump over 0 (e.g., ifZ _t is a diffusion).     

Droplet dynamics for asymmetric Ising model

Nucleation from a metastable state is studied for an anisotropic Ising model at very low temperatures. It turns out that the critical nucleus as well as configurations on a typical path to it differ from the Wulff shape of an equilibrium droplet.     

On Certain Extensions of a Rotation Invariant Markov Process

Let (X _t ,P ^x ) be a rotation invariant (RI) Feller process on R ^d {0}, d2. We study certain type of strong Markov extensions of (X _t ,P ^x ) to R ^d . It turns out that that the unique (RI) extension always exists and is of that type. We give a kind of quasi-ergodicy condition (E) under which the (RI) extension is the only extension of that type. A class of processes fulfilling (E) is also characterized.     

Epidifferentiability of the map of infima in Hilbert spaces

This article deals with derivatives for set-valued maps that take values in ordered vector spaces, in particular it concerns about the relationship between the epiderivatives of a set-valued map and its associated map of infima. When the image space is a real separable Hilbert space ordered by an orthonormal basis, by using a variational technique based on a decoupling of the ordering cone into half-spaces, we show that both epiderivatives coincide under certain hypothesis of compactness and stability. Furthermore we obtain some computation formulas for these derivatives in terms of associated scalar set-valued maps.     

Volume growth and heat kernel estimates for the continuum random tree

In this article, we prove global and local (point-wise) volume and heat kernel bounds for the continuum random tree. We demonstrate that there are almost–surely logarithmic global fluctuations and log–logarithmic local fluctuations in the volume of balls of radius r about the leading order polynomial term as r → 0. We also show that the on-diagonal part of the heat kernel exhibits corresponding global and local fluctuations as t → 0 almost–surely. Finally, we prove that this quenched (almost–sure) behaviour contrasts with the local annealed (averaged over all realisations of the tree) volume and heat kernel behaviour, which is smooth.

单光子量子密钥分发系统中干涉稳定性分析

为了研究位相编码量子密钥分发系统中的干涉稳定性, 运用解析和数值计算方法详细研究了光纤双折射、温度变化、非对称性以及耦合器分光比对量子密钥分发系统干涉条纹可见度的影响, 结果表明光纤双折射、温度变化和非对称性都将影响系统的干涉可见度, 调整接收端的调制位相能消除温度变化的影响, 并减小非对称性对系统的影响, 但不能改善光纤双折射对系统干涉的影响. 另外, 耦合器分光比影响系统的效率.
