Exchange coupling and helical spin order in the triangular lattice antiferromagnet CuCrO<sub>2</sub> using first principles

The magnetic and electronic properties of the geometrically frustrated triangular antiferromagnet CuCrO2 are investigated by first principles through density functional theory calculations within the generalized gradient approximations (GGA)+U scheme. The spin exchange interactions up to the third nearest neighbours in the ab plane as well as the coupling between adjacent layers are calculated to examine the magnetism and spin frustration. It is found that CuCrO2 has a natural two-dimensional characteristic of the magnetic interaction. Using Monte-Carlo simulation, we obtain the Neel temperature to be 29.9 K, which accords well with the experimental value of 24 K. Based on non-collinear magnetic structure calculations, we verify that the incommensurate spiral-spin structure with (110) spiral plane is believable for the magnetic ground state, which is consistent with the experimental observations. Due to intra-layer geometric spin frustration, parallel helical-spin chains arise along the a, b, or a + b directions, each with a screw-rotation angle of about 120°. Our calculations of the density of states show that the spin frustration plays an important role in the change of d-p hybridization, while the spin-orbit coupling has a very limited influence on the electronic structure. 相似文献

Wheel-off-loadings and orbital maneuvers of the GEO satellite result in additional accelerations to the satellite itself.
Complex and difficult to model, these time varying accelerations are an important error source of precise orbit determination
(POD). In most POD practices, only non-maneuver orbital arcs are treated. However, for some applications such as satellite
navigation RDSS services, uninterrupted orbital ephemeris is demanded, requiring the development of POD strategies to be processed
both during and after an orbital maneuver. We in this paper study the POD for a maneuvered GEO satellite, using high precision
and high sampling rate ranging data obtained with Chinese Area Positioning System (CAPS). The strategy of long arc POD including
maneuver arcs is studied by using telemetry data to model the maneuver thrust process. Combining the thrust and other orbital
perturbations, a long arc of 6 days’ CAPS ranging data is analyzed. If the telemetry data are not available or contain significant
errors, attempts are made to estimate thrusting parameters using CAPS ranging data in the POD as an alternative to properly
account for the maneuver. Two strategies achieve reasonably good data fitting level in the tested arc with the maximal position
difference being about 20 m.

Quantum systems with quadratic Hamiltonians are considered. Some results about the time evolution of homogeneous polynomials and of quantum correlation functions are given. The image of arbitrary orbit of Weyl–Heisenberg group under this time evolution is shown to be again an orbit of this group. For quantum free particle it is shown that its time evolution intersects arbitrary such orbit at most once. The structure and optical properties of the films of ternary compounds AgInSe2, CuInSe2 and Cu

InSe2 solid solutions obtained by pulsed laser evaporation are investigated. It has been established that the films like bulk crystals have the structure of chalcopyrite.
