The formulation and use of a mixed integer mathematical programming location-allocation model, the Coal Logistics System (COLS), is presented in this study. COLS is used to evaluate the potential for reducing water-borne coal transportation costs, and concomitantly the costs of delivering coal to European markets. This cost reduction is accomplished through the use of supercolliers which would require the dredging of channels at selected ports or the use of offshore loading sites at East and Gulf Coast ports or both. The model developed and the analysis presented in this paper are intended to aid in the determination of the location and extent of these activities, and to indicate the size of the potential reduction in the costs of U.S. export coal. In order to be able to accommodate these deeper draft vessels at East and Gulf Coast ports, expensive improvements would need to be undertaken which may include the deepening of harbor channels to the depths required for 120 000 dead weight ton (dwt) or larger supercolliers. Since dredging requires large initial investments and has significant long-term maintenance costs, excess capacity could represent an inefficient use of both U.S. revenues and the ports' own funds. The use of offshore loading moorings to permit the topping off of supercolliers by self-unloading colliers at the deepwater sections of harbor channels has been proposed as a way of reducing trans-ocean transportation costs and avoiding the large investments and time delays associated with dredging activities. 本文研究滚装码头混合泊位分配和劳动力分配的联合调度优化问题。首先,考虑潮汐时间窗约束、装卸劳动力约束、泊位缆桩分布约束以及泊位不规则布局因素,建立以最小化船舶总服务时间为目标的混合整数规划模型。其次,采用内外嵌套算法设计策略,提出求解该类问题的组合算法。其中,外层是多种群并行进化的遗传算法,生成多种船舶计划顺序,内层为基于规则的启发式算法,用于计算给定计划顺序的目标函数值。然后,基于实际运营数据,生成多组不同规模的算例进行全面数值实验,结果表明所提出的算法可在10分钟内求解包含50艘船、100个泊段的算例。最后,开展基于真实滚装码头运营实例的案例分析,对所提模型和算法在实际码头调度问题中的适用性与高效性进行验证。 相似文献

估算了1998-2012年北京城市物流业的碳排放量,建立了北京城市物流业碳排放影响因素的通径分析模型.结果表明:物流基础设施的建设是该阶段碳排放增长的决定性因素,经济发展水平、以石油为主的能源结构、城镇化是促进碳排放的重要因素,能源效率对碳排放的正向影响较弱,产业结构对碳排放具有负向影响.最后提出了北京城市物流业低碳化发展的对策. 相似文献

利用期权契约所建立的政企合作储备应急物资模式能够有效解决政府单独储备模式所造成的物资储备量过少或过多而引起的困境。然而由于应急物资的需求特性,若应急物资供应企业采用按单生产方式安排生产储备计划,势必会造成库存水平升高,引发资金周转困难等问题,对政企之间的长期合作造成不利影响。基于此,本文设计了基于供应方生产能力的应急物资生产模型。该模型在政府利用批发价格契约与期权契约采购应急物资的基础上,研究了供应方根据自身生产能力进行柔性生产时的生产与储备问题。通过推导政企双方最优决策后,重点分析了期权权利金,执行价格,加急生产成本等参数对供应方生产决策的影响,并证明与按单生产模式相比,柔性生产模式可有效降低供应方的库存量与生产成本,提高其利润,继而提高整体供应链的利润水平,有助于促进政企之间长期稳定的合作。 相似文献

针对若干远海岛礁群系统封闭性的分布特点,将中心岛礁选址、各岛礁建设泊位数量和规模、仓库储存量、运输船型和数量以及航线设置、班期组织等作为规划内容,以整个运输网络系统总成本最低为原则,综合考虑了仓库存储理论,建立了兼顾“选址-库存-路径”的规划模型。结合所建模型特点,提出了双层并行搜索遗传算法,构建了以海上运输为基本交通方式的双向物流系统。最后,以我国南海为例进行建模并求解,采用不同算法并通过多组不同规模的算例进行演算比较,验证了所建模型和算法的有效性与合理性。 相似文献

Variational inequality theory facilitates the formulation of equilibrium problems in economic networks. Examples of successful applications include models of supply chains, financial networks, transportation networks, and electricity networks. Previous economic network equilibrium models that were formulated as variational inequalities only included linear constraints; in this case the equivalence between equilibrium problems and variational inequality problems is achieved with a standard procedure because of the linearity of the constraints. However, in reality, often nonlinear constraints can be observed in the context of economic networks. In this paper, we first highlight with an application from the context of reverse logistics why the introduction of nonlinear constraints is beneficial. We then show mathematical conditions, including a constraint qualification and convexity of the feasible set, which allow us to characterize the economic problem by using a variational inequality formulation. Then, we provide numerical examples that highlight the applicability of the model to real-world problems. The numerical examples provide specific insights related to the role of collection targets in achieving sustainability goals. 相似文献

The Valparaiso region in Chile was decreed a zone affected by catastrophe in 2019 as a consequence of one of the driest seasons of the last 50 years. In this study, three varieties (‘Alfa-INIA’, ‘California-INIA’, and one landrace, ‘Local Navidad’) of kabuli-type chickpea seeds produced in 2018 (control) and 2019 (climate-related catastrophe, hereafter named water stress) were evaluated for their grain yield. Furthermore, the flavonoid profile of both free and esterified phenolic extracts was determined using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, and the concentration of the main flavonoid, biochanin A, was determined using liquid chromatography with diode array detection. The grain yield was decreased by up to 25 times in 2019. The concentration of biochanin A was up to 3.2 times higher in samples from the second season (water stress). This study demonstrates that water stress induces biosynthesis of biochanin A. However, positive changes in the biochanin A concentration are overshadowed by negative changes in the grain yield. Therefore, water stress, which may be worsened by climate change in the upcoming years, may jeopardize both the production of chickpeas and the supply of biochanin A, a bioactive compound that can be used to produce dietary supplements and/or nutraceuticals. 相似文献
