Symmetric form of the Hudson-Parthasarathy stochastic equation

Canonical Brownian Motion on the Diffeomorphism Group of the Circle

For infinitesimal data given on the group of diffeomorphism of the circle with respect to the metric H^3/2, the associated Brownian motion has been constructed by Malliavin (C.R. Acad. Sci. Parist.329 (1999), 325-329). In this work, we shall give another approach and prove the invariance of heat measures under the adjoint action of S¹.     

On perturbations of the group of shifts on the line by unitary cocycles

It is shown that the class of perturbations of the semigroup of shifts on by unitary cocycles with the property (where is the Hilbert-Schmidt class) contains strongly continuous semigroups of isometric operators, whose unitary parts possess spectral decompositions with the measure being singular with respect to the Lebesgue measure. Thus, we describe also the subclass of strongly continuous groups of unitary operators that are perturbations of the group of shifts on by Markovian cocycles with the property .

     

Examples of Twisted Cyclic Cocycles from Covariant Differential Calculi

For two covariant differential *-calculi, the twisted cyclic cocycle associated with the volume form is represented in terms of commutators for some self-adjoint operator and some *-representation of the underlying *-algebra.     

Free Algebras of Automorphic Forms on the Upper Half-Plane

We find all pairs (,a) consisting of a cocompact Fuchsian group of genus zero and an automorphy factor a of for which the graded algebra of a--automorphic forms is free.     

(H,R)-Lie coalgebras and (H,R)-Lie bialgebras

Given an (H,R)-Lie coalgebra Γ, we construct (H,R _T )-Lie coalgebra Γ^T through a right cocycle T, where (H,R) is a triangular Hopf algebra, and prove that there exists a bijection between the set of (H,R)-Lie coalgebras and the set of ordinary Lie coalgebras. We also show that if (L, [, ], Δ, R) is an (H,R)-Lie bialgebra of an ordinary Lie algebra then (L ^T , [, ], Δ_T, R _T ) is an (H,R _T )-Lie bialgebra of an ordinary Lie algebra.

Divisible designs and semi-regular relative difference sets from additive Hadamard cocycles

Additive Hadamard cocycles are a natural generalization of presemifields. In this paper, we study divisible designs and semi-regular relative difference sets obtained from additive Hadamard cocycles. We show that the designs obtained from additive Hadamard cocycles are flag transitive. We introduce a new product construction of Hadamard cocycles. We also study additive Hadamard cocycles whose divisible designs admit a polarity in which all points are absolute. Our main results include generalizations of a theorem of Albert and a theorem of Hiramine from presemifields to additive Hadamard cocycles. At the end, we generalize Maiorana-McFarland?s construction of bent functions to additive Hadamard cocycles.
