Eight novel octakis(3,4-dialkoxyphenyl)- phthalocyanine derivatives, Cn-M (2, M=2H; 3, M=Ni; 4, M=Cu; a, decyloxy; b, undecyloxy; c, dodecyloxy), have been synthesized and characterized. It was found that each of the derivatives exhibits discotic liquid crystalline properties, and that each of the Cn–Cu (4) derivatives has two kinds of Drd2( P 21/ a ) mesophases. These Cn–Cu (4a,b,c) and C12–2H (2c) derivatives exhibit a unique double clearing behavior. 相似文献

The brain area which surrounds the frankly ischemic region is named the area penumbra. In this area, most cells are spared although their oxidative metabolism is impaired. area penumbra is routinely detected by immunostaining of a molecule named Heat Shock Protein 70 (HSP70). Within the area penumbra, autophagy-related proteins also increase. Therefore, in the present study, the autophagy-related microtubule-associated protein I/II-Light Chain 3 (LC3) was investigated within the area penumbra along with HSP70. In C57 black mice, ischemia was induced by permanent occlusion of the distal part of the middle cerebral artery. Immunofluorescence and electron microscopy show that LC3 and HSP70 are overexpressed and co-localize within the area penumbra in the same cells and within similar subcellular compartments. In the area penumbra, marked loss of co-localization of HSP70 and LC3-positive autophagy vacuoles, with lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1 (LAMP1) or cathepsin-D-positive lysosome vacuoles occurs. This study indicates that, within the area penumbra, a failure of autophagolysosomes depends on defective compartmentalization of LC3, LAMP1 and cathepsin-D and a defect in merging between autophagosomes and lysosomes. Such a deleterious effect is likely to induce a depletion of autophagolysosomes and cell clearing systems, which needs to be rescued in the process of improving neuronal survival. 相似文献

Parenteral nutrition such as Liposyn III when introduced into patients causes their serum to become milky thereby creating potentially aberrant analyses when such a medium is subjected to spectrophotometric investigation during the time period prior to the metabolic removal of the intravenously injected triglycerides. However, it is possible to alter chemical reagents by the introduction of enzymatic clearing materials, which rapidly through hydrolytic action by lipases convert the offending triglycerides to glycerol and non-esterified fatty acids. The latter as potential soap formers with calcium and magnesium can be sequentially and quickly incorporated into transparent guest-host complexes with alpha cyclodextrin serving as the host, thus removing them as possible secondary sources of turbidity. Representative procedures incorporating the lipase-alpha cyclodextrin constituents into their reagents thus allow rapid clearing of the medium followed by spectrophotometric measurement during the clarified window of reaction without any change in the modified procedure. Additionally and importantly there is no interference from the addition of the clarifying ingredients added to the reagents. Commonly needed high volume tests such as hemoglobin, glucose, calcium, bilirubin, cholesterol and triglycerides are described as examples in which the clarifying processes are included in this novel analytical technology. No changes in the original methodologies are involved and no preliminary treatments are necessary for these important tests in which the interfering light-scattering properties of a sample are eliminated when optical measurement takes place even during the peak levels of parenteral nutrition necessarily introduced into any patient either adult or neonatal. These procedures involving enzymatic degradation of the triglycerides causing the primary turbidity sequenced to guest-host complexation of liberated fatty acids, the potential secondary turbidity, are effective for clarification of serum samples during measurement. This technology holds whether the source of the hypertriglyceridemia is parenteral nutrition or the pathological presence of excessive triglycerides as in diabetes. 相似文献

A rational expectation model with lagged endogenous variables is used to describe how the current price level is influenced by the expectation and historic price level. The time domain of the rational expectation model is extended to a complex discrete time domain which is a collection of points along the real number line. The rational expectation model with lagged endogenous variables is solved in multi-dimensional cases where the agents possess multiple assets, and the current price of each asset is related to the expected price and historical prices. An example about price determination process of storable commodities is given to illustrate the advantages of the rational expectation model on isolate time domain. 相似文献

We consider M/G/1-type queueing systems with disasters, occurring at certain random times and causing an instantaneous removal of the entire residual workload from the system. After such a clearing, the system is assumed to be ready to start working again immediately.
