Colombeau algebras constitute a convenient framework for performing nonlinear operations like multiplication on Schwartz distributions. Many variants and modifications of these algebras exist for various applications. We present a functional analytic approach placing these algebras in a unifying hierarchy, which clarifies their structural properties as well as their relation to each other.  相似文献

We introduce a general context involving a presheaf and a subpresheaf ℬ of  . We show that all previously considered cases of local analysis of generalized functions (defined from duality or algebraic techniques) can be interpretated as the ℬ-local analysis of sections of  . But the microlocal analysis of the sections of sheaves or presheaves under consideration is dissociated into a “frequential microlocal analysis” and into a “microlocal asymptotic analysis”. The frequential microlocal analysis based on the Fourier transform leads to the study of propagation of singularities under only linear (including pseudodifferential) operators in the theories described here, but has been extended to some non linear cases in classical theories involving Sobolev techniques. The microlocal asymptotic analysis is a new spectral study of singularities. It can inherit from the algebraic structure of ℬ some good properties with respect to nonlinear operations.   相似文献

In the first part of this note, we have introduced a version of the (strong) second layer condition for ringsR which are relatively Noetherian with respect to some radical inR-mod and studied its impact on classical and symmetric localization theory. We present a unified categorical treatment of completeness theorems for several classical and intuitionistic infinitary logics with a proposed axiomatization. This provides new completeness theorems and subsumes previous ones by Gödel, Kripke, Beth, Karp and Joyal. As an application we prove, using large cardinals assumptions, the disjunction and existence properties for infinitary intuitionistic first-order logics.  相似文献

The approach to a counterpart, in Abstract Geometric Algebra, that is, Geometric Algebra via sheaves of modules, of the classical Witt’s decomposition theoremis based on the axiomatization of the classical context, which however leads to the formulation of a specific subcategory of the category of sheaves of modules: the full subcategory of convenient sheaves of modules. Convenient sheaves of modules turn out, by the very essence of the matter at hand, to be of further importance as far as the setting of results leading to the sheaf-theoretic aspect of several forms of the Witt’s theorem is concerned.
