Summary This paper describes the determination of all carbamate pesticides mentioned in the Austrian regulations for pesticides and of some other carbamates commonly used in the EEC. Clean-up procedure is carried out by ethyl acetate extraction. Purification is by a liquid-liquid extraction step followed by use of a florisil column. Final detection of the carbamates is carried out by HPLC on silica gel and GLC respectively The method works well for all carbamates under consideration. Only benzimidazolamine-2, the decomposition product of benomyl and carbendazime cannot be determined by the method described. Therefore determination of benomyl, carbendazime and benzimidazolamine-2 was by hydrolysis of benomyl and carbendazime to benzimidazolamine-2, which is then determined by reversed-phase chromatography.  相似文献

Capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry (CE-MS) with an electrospray ionization interface was applied for the quantitative analysis of imazamox pesticide in well water, potable water, and pond water. The detector response for imazamox was determined to be linear over the concentration range of 50-1 ng/ml. The limits of quantitation and detection of the method were determined to be 200 and 20 ng/l for imazamox compound in each type of water sample, respectively. The total sample preparation and CE-MS analysis time was under 2 h.  相似文献

Microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography (MEEKC) was evaluated as a screening tool for the indirect measurement of octanol–water partition coefficients (log Po/w) of pesticide compounds. Over 80 pesticide compounds representing a variety of structural characteristics were studied, and good correlation of log Po/w with the logarithm of the retention factor was found. The microemulsion system studied allowed the separation of compounds in the log Po/w range of −1 to 7. In addition, a smaller set of simple organic molecules that vary in structural features was evaluated and compared to the pesticide log Po/w calibration. The pesticide and simple organic molecule log Po/w calibration lines were statistically similar. This suggests that a universal set of standard compounds may be employed for the log Po/w calibration to provide measurements for a variety of compounds with good accuracy.  相似文献

The applicability of headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) to pesticide determination in water samples was demonstrated by evaluating the effects of temperature on the extraction of the pesticides. The evaluations were performed using an automated system with a heating module. The 174 pesticides that are detectable with gas chromatograph were selected objectively and impartially based on their physical properties: vapor pressure and partition coefficient between octanol and water. Of the 174 pesticides, 158 (90% of tested) were extracted with a polyacrylate-coated fiber between 30 and 100 degrees C and were determined with gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry. The extraction-temperature profiles of the 158 extracted pesticides were obtained to evaluate the effects of temperature on the extraction of pesticides. The pesticides were classified into four groups according to the shape of their extraction-temperature profiles. The line of demarcation between extractable pesticides and non-extractable pesticides could be drawn in the physical property diagram (a double logarithmic plot of their vapor pressure and partition coefficient between octanol and water). The plot also revealed relationships between classified extraction features and their physical properties. The new method for multi residue screening in which the analytes were categorized into sub-groups based on extraction temperature was developed. In order to evaluate the quantitivity of the developed method, the 45 pesticides were chosen among the pesticides that are typically monitored in waters. Linear response data for 40 of the 45 was obtained in the concentration range below 5 microg/l with correlation coefficients ranging between 0.979 and 0.999. The other five pesticides had poor responses. Relative standard deviations at the concentration of the lowest standard solution for each calibration curve of the pesticides ranged from 3.6 to 18%. The value of 0.01 microg/l in the limits of detection for 17 pesticides was achieved only under the approximate conditions for screening, not under the individually optimized conditions for each pesticide. Recoveries of tested pesticides in actual matrices were essentially in agreement with those obtained by solid-phase extraction.  相似文献

A method using off-line supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) and micro liquid chromatography (μLC) with UV detection at 260 nm, was developed for selective determination of fenpyroximate in apple samples. The packed capillary liquid chromatography method utilises 20 μl injection volumes with on-column focusing. A 350×0.32 mm capillary column packed with Kromasil 100-C18 of 5 μm particle size was used with a mobile phase of acetonitrile–10 mM ammonium acetate (85:15, v/v) at a flow of 5 μl/min. A two-step SFE procedure was used to extract fenpyroximate selectively in 2 g apple samples, with Hydromatrix (HMX) added as a water absorbent at a 1:1 (w:w) ratio. Fenpyroximate was extracted at 200 bar and 90°C for 15 min using carbon dioxide at a flow of 2 ml/min, and solvent trapping collection in 10 ml acetonitrile. The volume of the acetonitrile extract was reduced by evaporation and water was added to a final composition of acetonitrile–water (40:60, v/v). The resulting 2.0 ml solution was filtered using a 0.45 μm poly(vinylidene difluoride) syringe filter before μLC analysis. Validation of the method was accomplished with apple samples spiked with fenpyroximate, covering the range of 0.1 to 1.0 μg/kg. The within-day and between-day repeatabilities were in the range 4–18% relative standard deviation. Accuracy, measured as recovery, was found to be approximately 60%. Apple samples from a field treated with fenpyroximate were analysed. None of the samples contained fenpyroximate above the quantification level.  相似文献

We tested a new design of an enzyme biosensor based on acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and choline oxidase (ChO) immobilized on the supported monomolecular layer composed of poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers of the fourth generation (G4) mixed with 1‐hexadecanethiol (HDT). The resulting enzymatic activity, measured amperometrically, was substantially depressed in the presence of the organophosphate pesticide dimethyl‐2,2‐dichlorovinylphosphate (DDVP, Dichlorvos), carbamate pesticides carbofuran and carbamate drug eserine. The detection limits (1.3×10?3 ppb for DDVP, 0.01 ppb for carbofuran and 0.03 for eserine) were considerably lower than so far reported for AChE based amperometric and potentiometric sensors. The relative simple protocol of biosensor preparation, high sensitivity and stability is very promising for determination of environmental pollutants in field conditions.  相似文献

Allyloxy bisbenzo 16-crown-5 trimethoxysilane was first used as precursor to prepare the sol-gel-derived bisbenzo crown ether/hydroxyl-terminated silicone oil (OH-TSO) SPME coating. The coating procedure involving sol solution composition and conditioning process was presented. Compared with commercial SPME stationary phases, the new coatings showed higher extraction efficiency and therefore could provide higher sensitivity for organphosphorous pesticides (OPs). Limits of detection (LODs) were in the range of 0.003-1.0 ng/g for these OPs in food samples (honey, juice, orange and pakchoi). The optimal extraction conditions of the new coatings to OPs in these samples were investigated by adjusting extraction time, salt addition, extraction temperature, and dilution ratios of samples with distilled water by using SPME coupled with gas chromatography (GC)-flame photometric detection (FPD). The method was applied to determine the concentrations of OPs in real samples.  相似文献

Immunoassays are one of the most convenient methods for environmental monitoring, but have been limited so far by low yield and low affinity antibodies (Abs). With the advent of recombinant Ab (rAb) technology and the expression of these Abs in organisms such as yeast, bacteria, insects and plants, widespread monitoring of our food and environment for organic contaminants using immunoassays has become feasible. A multitude of immunoassays have been developed to detect pesticides in soils, ground and river water, foods and biological samples, such as urine and semen. In this paper, we describe advances in Ab production, the move away from using animals, phage-display technologies and the advent of plant-derived Ab expression systems. Finally, we describe future possibilities in Ab technology for environmental monitoring.  相似文献

Solid-phase microextraction coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography was successfully applied to the analysis of nine phenylurea herbicides (metoxuron, monuron, chlorotoluron, isoproturon, monolinuron, metobromuron, buturon, linuron, and chlorbromuron). Polydimethylsiloxane-divinylbenzene (PDMS-DVB, 60 microm) and Carbowax-templated resin (CW-TPR, 50 microm) fibers were selected from four commercial fibers for further study because of their better extraction efficiencies. The parameters of the desorption procedure were studied and optimized. The effects of the properties of analytes and fiber coatings, carryover, duration and temperature of absorption, pH, organic solvent and ionic strength of samples were also investigated. External calibration with an aqueous standard can be used for the analysis of environmental samples (lake water) using either PDMS-DVB or CW-TPR fibers. Good precisions (1.0-5.9%) are achieved for this method, and the detection limits are at the level of 0.5-5.1 ng/ml.  相似文献

The scope of this work is the development of a rapid, reliable and sensitive method for the analysis of organochlorine pesticides from soils by pressurized liquid extraction (PLE). The effect of four parameters (temperature, pressure, static time and cell volume) on the extraction efficiency was studied. The great extracting power of the PLE causes the extraction of numerous interfering substances, so a more efficient purification of this extract was necessary. In this work several sorbents have also been assayed to carry out the purification of soil samples: Florisil, silica, alumina, carbon, as well as combinations of them. Finally, the proposed analytical method was validated using a certified reference soil material (CRM804-050) and the results were compared with those obtained by other extraction techniques (Soxhlet and microwave-assisted extraction).  相似文献
