Zappa–Szép products arise when an algebraic structure has the property that every element has a unique decomposition as a product of elements from two given substructures. They may also be constructed from actions of two structures on one another, satisfying axioms first formulated by G. Zappa, and have a natural interpretation within automata theory. We study Zappa–Szép products arising from actions of a group and a band, and study the structure of the semigroup that results. When the band is a semilattice, the Zappa–Szép product is orthodox and ℒ-unipotent. We relate the construction (via automata theory) to the λ-semidirect product of inverse semigroups devised by Billhardt.  相似文献

It is shown that, within the class of Rees-Sushkevich varieties that are generated by completely (0-) simple semigroups over groups of exponent dividing n, there is a hierarchy of varieties determined by the lengths of the products of idempotents that will, if they fall into a group ℋ-class, be idempotent. Moreover, the lattice of varieties generated by completely (0-) simple semigroups over groups of exponent dividing n, with the property that all products of idempotents that fall into group ℋ-classes are idempotent, is shown to be isomorphic to the direct product of the lattice of varieties of groups with exponent dividing n and the lattice of exact subvarieties of a variety generated by a certain five element completely 0-simple semigroup.  相似文献

In order to preserve and restore the Imperial Gates from the Petrindu wooden church, Salaj County, Romania, (map location—latitude, longitude: 46.97, 23.19), the scientific investigation of the wooden support and painting materials (ground and pigments) was performed, employing Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X‐ray fluorescence spectroscopy, and 3D scanning. FTIR spectroscopy offered information about the wooden degradation stage, whereas X‐ray fluorescence and FTIR spectroscopic methods were employed for structural painting materials characterization. The structural data can be correlated with the artistic, theological, and historical analysis of this religious patrimony object. After obtaining information about the wooden support and painting materials, the Imperial Gates were 3D digitized using state of the art laser scanning technology. The digital 3D model obtained was restored in a virtual environment and converted into an interactive 3D model that can be used for Romanian cultural heritage digital dissemination.  相似文献

In a previous communication, we defined a countably infinite sequence of varieties of completely regular semigroups, termed canonical. Finite intersections of these varieties constitute the upper ends of the intervals which are the classes of the congruence induced by the complete homomorphism 𝒱 → 𝒱 ∩ ?, where ? is the variety of all bands. We construct here the lattice generated by the first few of these varieties in some detail. In particular, we determine their bases and illustrate our findings by three diagrams.  相似文献

Let S be an orthodox semigroup and γ the least inverse congruence on S. C(S) denotes the set of all congruences on S. In this paper we introduce the concept of admissible triples for S, where admissible triples are constructed by the congruences on S/γ. the equivalences on E(S)/L and E(S)/R. The notation Ca(S) denotes the set of all admissible triple for S. We prove that every congruence p on S can be uniquely determined by the admissible triple induced by p, and there exists a lattice isomomorphism between C(S) and Ca(S).  相似文献
