The spreading of a globally distributed damage, created in the stationary regime, is studied in a single-component irreversible reaction process, i.e., the BK model [Browne and Kleban,Phys. Rev. A 40, 1615 (1989)]. The BK model describes one variant of the A+AA2 reaction process on a lattice in contact with a reservoir of A species. The BK model has a single parameter, namely the rate of arrival of A species to the lattice (Y). The model, exhibits an irreversible phase transition between a stationary reactive state with production of A2 species and a poisoned state with the lattice fully covered by A species. The transition takes place at critical points (Y C ) which solely depend on the Euclidean dimensiond. It is found that the system is immune ford=1 andd=2, in the sense that even 100% of initial damage is healed within a finite healing period (T H ). Within the reactive regime,T H diverges when approachingY C according toT H (Y C Y), with 1.62 and 1.08 ford=1 andd=2, respectively. Ford=3 a frozen-chaotic transition is found close toY s 0.4125, i.e., well inside the reactive regime 0YY C 0.4985. Just atY S the damageD(t) heals according toD(t) t , with 0.71. For the frozen-chaotic transition atd=3 the order parameter critical exponent 0.997 is determined.  相似文献

Using both spreading techniques — mixed spreading and separate spreading- and, simultaneously, film pressure and film potential measurements, the mixing behavior of the following five binary systems was investigated and compared: 1) system 1,2-dilauroyl-phosphatidylethanolamine/cholesterol; 2) system 1,2-dimyristoyl-phosphatidylethanolamine/cholesterol; 3) system 1,2-dipalmitoyl-phosphatidylethanolamine/cholesterol; 4) system Na-eicosyl sulphate/hexadecanol; 5) system phosphatidic acid/1,2-dimyristoyl-phosphatidylethanolamine.Analyzing the time and concentration dependence of the /a isotherms and v/a isotherms (s = film pressure, v s potential,a=average area per molecule in mixed films in the monolayers) of the binary monolayers it can be concluded that the components of the binary systems 1–4 are complete miscible in the monolayers. On the other hand the components of the system 5 are probably partially miscible only.  相似文献

In this paper a new model for the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) is presented. The dynamic behaviors of the model on a heterogenous scale-free (SF) network are considered, where the absence of a threshold on the SF network is demonstrated, and the stability of the disease-free equilibrium is obtained. Three immunization strategies, uniform immunization, proportional immunization and targeted immunization, are applied in this model. Analytical and simulated results are given to show that the proportional immunization strategy in the model is effective on SF networks.  相似文献

The spreading of a liquid drop over liquid subphase can be driven by change in interfacial tension mediated through a surfactant, volatile solvent or photoinduced reaction. In contrast to the spreading dynamics of a liquid drop, a liquid crystal drop with anisotropic structure can lead to interesting behaviour due to its viscoelasticity and anchoring at the interfaces. Recently, we have reported studies on unusual spreading and retraction dynamics of a smectic domain doped with a fluorescent dye in the collapsed state of a Langmuir monolayer. Under epifluorescence microscope, during excitation, a stack of layers of the dye-doped smectic domain gets sheared causing the domain to spread asymmetrically. Further, due to line tension, the domain transforms into a circular shape. We also find the domain size to be about twice that of the initial size. Interestingly, in the absence of excitation, the domain retracts to a smaller area. During retraction of the domain, successive generation of edge dislocation loops arising from a nucleus results in an increase in the domain thickness. The dynamics of spreading and retraction of the domain can be understood by invoking changes in the spreading coefficient due to photoinduced modification of the interfacial tension.  相似文献

The movement of water originated by the spreading of two surfactants was analyzed in glass beads as well as on soil systems, both of particles of nonuniform size

The higher difference of surface tension produced in the system by 1 -hexadecanol compared to that of 1-tetradecanol led therefore to a higher amount of water moved. Decreased proportion of the smaller sized particles in glass beads system produced a decrease in the total water moved by both surfactants.

Organic matter acted in soil as a second surfactant in glass beads. This effect was compared in glass beads systems once 1-hexadecanol was evenly distributed among the particles as continuous film, which played a role alike that of organic matter in soil and then a second surfactant 1-tetradecanol was added. These additional surfactant effect diminished the difference between initial and final surface tension (surface tension depression) of the system and so the total water moved.

The soil organic matter (1.7%) modified the water movement curve in the presence of low (0.2g) content of 1-hexadecanol, whereas for high content of either alcohol (0.4g) or low content of 1-tetradecanol content (0.2g) the water movement curves were the same  相似文献

Uniform spreading of oil on solid surfaces is important in many processes where proper lubrication is required and this can be controlled using surfactants. The role of oil–solid interfacial self-assembled surfactant structure (SASS) in oil spreading is examined in this study for the case of hexadecane-surfactant droplet spreading on a flat horizontal copper surface, with triphenyl phosphorothionate surfactants having varying chain lengths (0 to 9). It is shown that the frictional forces (FSASS) as determined by the SASS regulate droplet spreading rate according to surfactant chain length; surfactants with longer chains led to higher reduction in the spreading rate. The extent of such forces, FSASS, depends on the surfactant density of the evolving SASS, and specific configuration the evolving SASS exhibit as per the orientations of the surfactant chains therein. Thus, FSASS = [k1 + k2(t)] Γδ(t), where Γδ(t) is the surfactant adsorption density of SASS at time ‘t’ during evolution, and, k1 and k2(t) are the force coefficients for Γδ(t) and orientations (as a function of spreading time) of the surfactant chains respectively. As a SASS evolves/grows along with adsorption of surfactants at the spreading induced fresh interface, the k1Γδ(t) component of FSASS increases and contributes to reduction in the net spreading force (S). With a decrease in the net spreading force, the existence of a cross-over period, during which the transition of the spatial dynamics of the chains from disordered to realignment/packing induced ordered orientation occurs, has been inferred from the FSASS vs. chain length relationships. Such relationships also suggested that the rate of realignment/packing is increased progressively particularly due the realignment/packing induced decrease in the net spreading force. Therefore, the realignment process is a self-induced process, which spans a measurable period of time (several minutes), the cross-over period, during which the net spreading force decreases essentially due to such self-induced process.  相似文献

The susceptible-infected-susceptible (SIS) epidemics in a scale-free network in which each node is a square lattice itself is investigated through large-scale computer simulations. The model combines a local contact process among individuals in a node (or city) with stochastic long-range infections due to people traveling between cities interconnected by the national transportation scale-free network. A nonzero epidemic threshold is found and it is approached with a power-law behavior by the density of infected individuals, as observed in the small-world network of Watts and Strogatz. Also, the epidemic propagation follows a 1/f1/f, hierarchical dynamics from the highly connected square lattices to the smaller degree nodes in outbreaks with sizes distributed accordingly a Gaussian function.  相似文献

Epidemic spreading has been widely investigated over the past decades. And voluntary vaccination has been often utilized to explore dynamical process in epidemics where vaccines are available. In this letter, we establish a framework considering conformity motivated update as well as myopic best response motivated update on a family network which is demonstrated by a two-layered network. Extensive numerical simulations are conducted to study the dynamics of epidemic spreading under the aforementioned update rules, from which we discover the oscillation phenomenon under the pure myopic best response condition and the amplitude diversification phenomenon under the mixing of conformity and myopic best response motivated conditions. Moreover, we find that smaller overlapping fraction of links on two-layered network shall promote the epidemic propagation. The current findings can shed some lights on the evolution of epidemic spreading process in the real-world scenarios.  相似文献

评价网络中节点的信息传播影响力对于理解网络结构与网络功能具有重要意义.目前,许多基于最短路径的指标,如接近中心性、介数中心性以及半局部(SP)指标等相继用于评价节点传播影响力.最短路径表示节点间信息传播途径始终选择最优方式,然而实际上网络间的信息传播过程更类似于随机游走,信息的传播途径可以是节点间的任一可达路径,在集聚系数高的网络中,节点的局部高聚簇性有利于信息的有效扩散,若只考虑信息按最优传播方式即最短路径传播,则会低估节点信息传播的能力,从而降低节点影响力的排序精度.综合考虑节点与三步内邻居间的有效可达路径以及信息传播率,提出了一种SP指标的改进算法,即ASP算法.在多个经典的实际网络和人工网络上利用SIR模型对传播过程进行仿真,结果表明ASP指标与度指标、核数指标、接近中心性指标、介数中心性指标以及SP指标相比,可以更精确地对节点传播影响力进行排序.  相似文献

针对关键生命线系统,如电网、供水网、供气网、交通网、通信网等的一些共性特征,建立一个普适性的灾害蔓延动力学模型. 这个模型考虑网络结点的自修复功能、灾害蔓延机制和内部随机噪声,并研究自修复因子、延迟时间因子和噪声强度三个重要特征参数对三种网络(随机网络、无标度网络和小世界网络)结点修复率和崩溃结点数的影响. 模拟结果与这些实际生命线系统的特征一致,表明所建立的模型可以有效地模拟生命线系统的灾害演化动力学. 关键词: 复杂网络 生命线系统 灾害蔓延  相似文献
