恩格尔系数衡量城镇居民生活水平适用性

根据我固1980年和2000年恩格尔系数所反映的各省(市)居民生活水平资料，发现两个不同时期其真实性有很大差异，分析了造成这种差别的原因：(1)职工非现金福利收入的增加；(2)少数职工的非法收入的大量增加；(3)居民饮食结构的改变；(4)物价上涨的影响；(5)恩格尔系数本身存在技术问题；(6)抽样调查本身存在问题，提出用一种“新系数”来衡量城镇居民生活水平，其优点是：(1)不受各地区实际支出，即人为控制调节的影响；(2)不需用其他指标作解释，直观性强；(3)因可以扣除物价因素，它不受物价波动的影响；（4)调查户填报和计算简易方便。可扩大样本调查量，提高反映住户总量可靠性。     

Compatible Lie Brackets and Integrable Equations of the Principal Chiral Model Type

We consider two classes of integrable nonlinear hyperbolic systems on Lie algebras. These systems generalize the principal chiral model. Each system is related to a pair of compatible Lie brackets and has a Lax representation, which is determined by the direct sum decomposition of the Lie algebra of Laurent series into the subalgebra of Taylor series and the complementary subalgebra corresponding to the pair. New examples of compatible Lie brackets are given.     

Elementary equivalence for the lattices of subalgebras and automorphism groups of free algebras

We find an elementary equivalence criterion for the lattices of subalgebras of free algebras in regular varieties. The question is addressed of elementary equivalence for the automorphism groups of algebras of this type.     

On sub‐Riemannian geodesics on the Engel groups: Hamilton's equations

We study the sub‐Riemannian geometry on the Engel group which is a step 3 nilpotent Lie group on . Our main result is to solve the Hamiltonian equations associated with the bi‐characteristic curves and express the solutions in terms of elliptic functions. Our model covers both the Heisenberg group and the Martinet case when setting certain parameters to be zero.     

Generalized Derivations with Engel Conditions on Polynomials

Let R be a noncommutative prime ring with extended centroid C, and let D: R → R be a nonzero generalized derivation, f(X ₁,…, X _t ) a nonzero polynomial in noncommutative indeterminates X ₁,…, X _t over C with zero constant term, and k ≥ 1 a fixed integer. In this article, D and f(X ₁,…, X _t ) are characterized if the Engel identity is satisfied: [D(f(x ₁,…, x _t )), f(x ₁,…, x _t )] _k  = 0 for all x ₁,…, x _t  ∈ R.     

Right Coideal Subalgebras of Quantized Universal Enveloping Algebras of Type G 2*

In this article we describe the right coideal subalgebras containing all group-like elements of the two-parameter quantum group U _q (𝔤), where 𝔤 is a simple Lie algebra of type G ₂, while the main parameter of quantization q is not a root of 1. As a consequence, we determine that there are precisely 60 different right coideal subalgebras containing all group-like elements. If the multiplicative order t of q is finite, t > 4, t ≠ 6, then the same classification remains valid for homogeneous right coideal subalgebras of the two-parameter version of the small Lusztig quantum group u _q (𝔤).     

Group Laws [x,y −1] ≡ u(x,y) and Varietal Properties

Let F = ?x, y? be a free group. It is known that the commutator [x, y ^?1] cannot be expressed in terms of basic commutators, in particular in terms of Engel commutators. We show that the laws imposing such an expression define specific varietal properties. For a property 𝒫 we consider a subset U(𝒫) ? F such that every law of the form [x, y ^?1] ≡ u, u ∈ U(𝒫) provides the varietal property 𝒫. For example, we show that each subnormal subgroup is normal in every group of a variety 𝔙 if and only if 𝔙 satisfies a law of the form [x, y ^?1] ≡ u, where u ∈ [F′, ?x?].     

A Characterization of Generalized Derivations on Prime Rings

Let R be a noncommutative prime ring, U be the left Utumi quotient ring of R, and k, m, n, r be fixed positive integers. If there exist a generalized derivation G and a derivation g (which is independent of G) of R such that [G(x^m)xⁿ + xⁿg(x^m), x^r]_k = 0, for all x ∈ R, then there exists a ∈ U such that G(x) = ax, for all x ∈ R.
