We introduce and study a family of quantum fields, associated to δ-interactions in one dimension. These fields are analogous to holonomic quantum fields of Sato et al. in Holonomic quantum fields I–V (Publ. RIMS, Kyoto University, 14: 223–267, 1978; 15: 201–278, 1979; 15: 577–629, 1979; 15: 871-972, 1979; 16: 531–584, 1979). Corresponding field operators belong to an infinite-dimensional representation of the group in the Fock space of ordinary harmonic oscillator. We compute form factors of such fields and their correlation functions, which are related to the determinants of Schroedinger operators with a finite number of point interactions. It is also shown that these determinants coincide with tau functions, obtained through the trivialization of the det*-bundle over a Grassmannian associated to a family of Schroedinger operators.  相似文献

We present a general method of studying the transport process , t≥0, in the Euclidean space ℝ m , m≥2, based on the analysis of the integral transforms of its distributions. We show that the joint characteristic functions of are connected with each other by a convolution-type recurrent relation. This enables us to prove that the characteristic function (Fourier transform) of in any dimension m≥2 satisfies a convolution-type Volterra integral equation of second kind. We give its solution and obtain the characteristic function of in terms of the multiple convolutions of the kernel of the equation with itself. An explicit form of the Laplace transform of the characteristic function in any dimension is given. The complete solution of the problem of finding the initial conditions for the governing partial differential equations, is given. We also show that, under the standard Kac condition on the speed of the motion and on the intensity of the switching Poisson process, the transition density of the isotropic transport process converges to the transition density of the m-dimensional homogeneous Brownian motion with zero drift and diffusion coefficient depending on the dimension m. We give the conditional characteristic functions of the isotropic transport process in terms of the inverse Laplace transform of the powers of the Gauss hypergeometric function. Some important models of the isotropic transport processes in lower dimensions are considered and some known results are derived as the particular cases of our general model by means of the method developed.  相似文献

We consider continuous-time hysteresis operators, defined to be causal and rate independent operators mapping input signals to output signals . We show how a hysteresis operator defined on the set of continuous piecewise monotone functions can be naturally extended to piecewise continuous piecewise monotone functions. We prove that the extension is also a hysteresis operator and that a number of important properties of the original operator are inherited by the extension. Moreover, we define the concept of a discrete-time hysteresis operator and we show that discretizing continuous-time hysteresis operators using standard sampling and hold operations leads to discrete-time hysteresis operators. We apply the concepts and results described above in the context of sampled-data feedback control of linear systems with input hysteresis.  相似文献

We study the system of nonlinear differential equations which expresses the constancy of the algebraic invariants of the Jacobian matrix for smooth vector fields in three-dimensional space. This system is equivalent to the equations of gas dynamics which describe the barochronous motions of a gas (the pressure and density depend only on the time). In this Letter we study twisted traces of products of intertwining operators for quantum affine algebras. They are interesting special functions, depending on two weights ,, three scalar parameters q,,k, and spectral parameters z 1,...,z N , which may be regarded as q-analogs of conformal blocks of the Wess–Zumino–Witten model on an elliptic curve. It is expected that in the rank 1 case they essentially coincide with the elliptic hypergeometric functions defined by Felder and Varchenko. Our main result is that after a suitable renormalization the traces satisfy four systems of difference equations – the Macdonald–Ruijsenaars equation, the q-Knizhnik–Zamolodchikov–Bernard equation, and their dual versions. We also show that in the case when the twisting automorphism is trivial, the trace functions are symmetric under the permutation , k . Thus, our results generalize those of Etingof and Schiffmann, dealing with the case q=1, and Etingof, Varchenko, and Schiffmann, dealing with the finite-dimensional case.  相似文献
