Using Barnes-Wall lattices and 1-cocycles on finite groups of monomial matrices, we give a procedure to construct tricosine spherical codes. This was inspired by a 14-dimensional code which Ballinger, Cohn, Giansiracusa and Morris discovered in studies of the universally optimal property. Their code has 64 vectors and cosines . We construct the Optimism Code, a 4-cosine spherical code with 256 unit vectors in 16-dimensions. The cosines are . Its automorphism group has shape 21+8⋅GL(4,2). The Optimism Code contains a subcode related to the BCGM code. The Optimism Code implies existence of a nonlinear binary code with parameters (16,256,6), a Nordstrom-Robinson code, and gives a context for determining its automorphism group, which has form .  相似文献

We consider cocycles over certain hyperbolic actions, , and show rigidity properties for cocycles with values in a Lie group or a diffeomorphism group, which are close to identity on a set of generators, and are sufficiently smooth. The actions we consider are Cartan actions of or , for , and Γ torsion free cocompact lattice. The results in this paper rely on a technique developed recently by D. Damjanović and A. We give a construction of cocyclic Butson-Hadamard matrices from bilinear forms over finite Frobenius rings, which generalizes previous constructions. We then prove a classification result, showing that the resulting matrices depend only on the additive group of the underlying module of the form.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the dynamics of a two-dimensional stochastic Navier-Stokes equation on a smooth domain, driven by linear multiplicative white noise. We show that solutions of the 2D Navier-Stokes equation generate a perfect and locally compacting C1,1 cocycle. Using multiplicative ergodic theory techniques, we establish the existence of a discrete non-random Lyapunov spectrum for the cocycle. The Lyapunov spectrum characterizes the asymptotics of the cocycle near an equilibrium/stationary solution. We give sufficient conditions on the parameters of the Navier-Stokes equation and the geometry of the planar domain for hyperbolicity of the zero equilibrium, uniqueness of the stationary solution (viz. ergodicity), local almost sure asymptotic stability of the cocycle, and the existence of global invariant foliations of the energy space.  相似文献

Discrete time nonautonomous dynamical systems generated by nonautonomous difference equations are formulated as discrete time skew—product systems consisting of cocycle state mappings that are driven by discrete time autonomous dynamical systems. Forwards and pullback attractors are two possible generalizations of autonomous attractors to such systems. Their existence follows from appropriate forwards or pullback dissipativity conditions. For discrete time nonautonomous dynamical systems generated by asynchronous systems with frequency updating components such a dissipativity condition is usually known for a single starting parameter value of the driving system. Additional conditions that then ensure the existence of a forwards or pullback attractor for such an asynchronous system are investigated here  相似文献

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to transform a nonlinear stochastic partial differential equation of parabolic type with multiplicative noise into a random partial differential equation by using a bijective random process. A stationary conjugation is constructed, which is of interest for asymptotic problems. The conjugation is used here to prove the existence of the stochastic flow, the perfect cocycle property and the existence of the random attractor, all nontrivial properties in the case of multiplicative noise.  相似文献

Abstract

In this article, we determine cocycle deformations and Galois objects of non-commutative and non-cocommutative semisimple Hopf algebras of dimension 16. We show that these Hopf algebras are pairwise twist inequivalent mainly by calculating their higher Frobenius-Schur indicators, and that except three Hopf algebras which are cocycle deformations of dual group algebras, none of them admit non-trivial cocycle deformations.  相似文献

We provide a class of examples of compact quantum groups and unitary 2-cocycles on them, such that the twisted quantum groups are non-compact, but still locally compact quantum groups (in the sense of Kustermans and Vaes).
