开设物理学史课之我见

近年来，国内许多高校都在开设物理学史方面的课程，有的是作为公共选修课，有的是作为必选选修课，但不论怎样，对开设物理学史课都给予了很高的重视，但是，若做些深入的调查，我们就会发现，无论是为什么要开设这门课、怎样开设这门课等等这些基本的问题上，或者是从开设者的主观意图，与接受者的响应和得出的效果等方面，调查结果都相差很大，我也对开设物理学史课做过一些思考，并有过一些实践，这里，谈一些我对开设物理学史课的看法。     

Experimental investigation on partially coherent higher-order non-diffractive beams

We experimentally study the generation of a partially coherent non-diffractive beam by focusing a partially coherent vortex beam with an axicon. The investigation results show that when the partially coherent vortex beam is focused by the axicon, the beam is transferred into a partially coherent higher-order non-diffractive beam. In the non-diffractive zone, the transverse intensity distribution of the partially coherent higher-order non-diffractive beam is invariant during propagation. In addition, the range of the non-diffractive zone is related to the coherence of the partially coherent vortex beam. The poorer the coherence of the partially coherent vortex beam, the shorter the range of the non-diffractive zone.     

A NOTE ON PRESSURE APPROXIMATION OF FIRST AND HIGHER ORDER PROJECTION SCHEMES FOR THE NONSTATIONARY INCOMPRESSIBLE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS

Projection methods are efficient operator-splitting schemes to approximate solutions of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. As a major drawback, they introduce spurious layers, both in space and time. In this work, we survey convergence results for higher order projection methods, in the presence of only strong solutions of the limiting problem; in particular, we highlight concomitant difficulties in the construction process of accurate higher order schemes, such as limited regularities of the limiting solution, and a lack of accurate initial data for the pressure. Computational experiments are included to compare the presented schemes, and illustrate the difficulties mentioned.     

部分高校化学课程双语教学情况调查分析与思考

采用调查问卷的方式对22所已开展化学类课程双语教学高校的教师进行了调查。根据调查结果,从师资、课程、教学、教材和评估考核5个方面入手进行了分析,指出了目前双语教学中存在的一些问题。

Rerouting end-face-TIR capable rays to significantly increase evanescent wave signal power

The critical findings associated with end-face total internal reflection (TIR) phenomemon we proved before are reported.In particular,these findings reveal that the end-face-TIR capable rays experience enormous mode mixing when encountering a roughened end face.As a result,94% of the overall detectable power is contributed by this effect.With a smooth fiber end face,this figure is mere 52%.We interpret the mechanism behind these unusual phenomena and its significance for the performance enhancement of fiber optic evanescent wave sensor.     

Challenges in the theoretical investigations of lipid membrane configurations

We report some key results in the theoretical investigations of configurations of lipid membranes and present several challenges in this field,which involve(i)the exact solutions to the shape equation of lipid vesicles,(ii)the exact solutions to the governing equations of open lipid membranes,(iii)the neck condition of two-phase vesicles in the budding state,(iv) the nonlocal theory of membrane elasticity,and(v)the relationship between the symmetry and the magnitude of the free energy.     

从“教学”到“导学”

1大学生学习方式的现状及不足 中国地质大学刘杰,庞岚所作的有关调查显示：在约1500名被调查学生中,课程经常需要重修的占13．89％,偶尔重修和重修课程没超过两门的学生有28．29％和27．93％,这三项加在一起是70．11％．照此推算,全校大约超过70％的学生都有重修课程的经历．大学生目前学习的状况不容乐观．究其原因,学生们主要把它归结为自身的学习兴趣或对专业的兴趣等方面．但相关的调查结果显示,学生对学习的精力投入不足才是主要原因,包括不上课、不做作业、课余不学习、没有学习计划以及没有养成良好的学习习惯等．     

仪器分析课程教学改革调查及对策分析

根据调查结果,分析了仪器分析课程教学改革的现状及存在的问题,并针对问题提出了改革措施及实施计划。
