Naphthalimidephthalimide derivatives (NDPDs) have been synthesized and combined with an iodonium salt, N‐vinylcarbazole, amine or 2,4,6‐tris(trichloromethyl)‐1,3,5‐triazine to produce reactive species (i.e., radicals and cations). These generated reactive species are capable of initiating the cationic polymerization of epoxides and/or the radical polymerization of acrylates upon exposure to very soft polychromatic visible lights or blue lights. Compared with the well‐known camphorquinone based systems used as references, the novel NDPD based combinations employed here demonstrate clearly higher efficiencies for the cationic polymerization of epoxides under air as well as the radical polymerization of acrylates. Remarkably, one of the NDPDs (i.e., NDPD2) based systems is characterized by an outstanding reactivity. The structure/reactivity/efficiency relationships of the investigated NDPDs were studied by fluorescence, cyclic voltammetry, laser flash photolysis, electron spin resonance spin trapping, and steady state photolysis techniques. The initial formation of organotin derivatives with Sn-S-N bonds in heterolytic reactions of hexamethylditin or trimethyltin sulfide withN-(chlorothio)phthalimide is suggested. Subsequent interaction of these compounds with sulfenyl chloride affordsN, N-thioorN, N-dithiobisphthalimide. The last step of the production of four phthalimide-derived acids, designed to act as antiasthma drugs, was performed by enzymatic hydrolysis of the respective methyl or ethyl esters. The esters 4-ethyl-[2-(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2-isoindoylyl)]-phenoxyacetic methyl ester (PHT-MET), 4-ethyl-[2-(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2-isoindoylyl)]-phenoxyacetic ethyl ester, 4-(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2-isoindoylyl)-phenoxyacetic ethyl ester, and 2-(1,3-dioxo-1, 3-dihydro-2-isoindoylyl)-phenoxyacetic ethyl ester were hydrolyzed by immobilized lipase. The enzymatic reaction could be used only to produce the desired 4-substituted compounds. The best result that was found to hydrolysis of PHT-MET, and, therefore, that ester was selected for optimization experiments in a three-phase system. Reactions were performed with solid biocatalyst (Lipozyme® RM IM), organic solvent phase (ethyl acetate), and aqueous phase (saturated Na2CO3 solution). To optimize the reaction conditions, an experimental design optimization procedure was used. The variables studied were the amount of enzyme, the temperature, and the volume of the aqueous solution. Time course experiments were then performed for different initial enzyme concentrations (0.5, 0.9, and 1.4 UH/mL of solvent). The optimized reaction conditions found were 20 mg of Lipozyme (0.9 UH/mLsolvent) and 5.0 mL of Na2CO3(sat) at 40°C for 6 h.  相似文献

Summary The electrochemical behaviour of Fe and C-steel samples in oxalic acid solutions was studied by the use of cyclic voltammetry. Two peaks were observed; the first one was the anodic peak and the second one an unexpected reductive dissolution peak which could be observed in the cathodic branch of cyclic voltammograms of all electrodes studied. The carbon content was found to increase the active dissolution of steels and to decrease their tendency towards passivation. The inhibitive efficiency of phenyl phthalimide derivatives on the active dissolution of Fe and steel samples in 0.1M oxalic acid were investigated.
Cyclische Voltammogramme von Eisen und C-Stählen in Oxalsäurelösungen und der Einfluß von Phenylphthalimiden als Korrosionsinhibitoren
Zusammenfassung Das elektrochemische Verhalten von Eisen und C-Stählen in Oxalsäurelösungen wurde mit Hilfe cyclischer Voltammetrie studiert. Dabei treten zwei Signale auf: das anodische Signal sowie ein unerwartetes reduktives Lösungssignal. Letzteres wurde im kathodischen Zweig der cyclischen Voltammogramme aller untersuchten Elektroden gefunden. Der Kohlenstoffgehalt erhöht die aktive Auflösung von Stählen und erniedrigt ihre Tendenz zur Passivierung. Die Inhibitionseffizienz von Phenylphthalimiden für die aktive Auflösung von Eisen und Stahlproben in 0.1M Oxalsäure wurde untersucht.

Phthalimide derivatives as nitrogen nucleophiles with α,β‐unsaturated aldehydes for asymmetric aza‐Michael additions have been reported. The reactions proceed smoothly to afford corresponding Michael adducts in good yields (up to 98%) and enantioselectivities (up to 95% ee).  相似文献

Abstract

Deep eutectic solvents (DES) and glycerol have been successfully employed as efficient catalysts/reaction media in the synthesis of N-aryl phthalimide derivatives from phthalic anhydride and primary aromatic amines. The DES prepared from choline chloride and malonic acid proved to be an efficient catalyst whereas glycerol and the DES of choline chloride and urea played a dual role of catalyst and solvent. These mixtures are biodegradable, nontoxic, and cost-effective thereby providing a good industrial alternative to conventional methods. These methods gave products in moderate to high yields with good recyclability of catalyst/solvent at least up to five consecutive runs.  相似文献

The convenient route for the synthesis of a series of new Isoindoline-1, 3-dione/phthalimide analogues by condensation of substituted phthalic anhydride with an appropriate Ar-amine is described. Selective phthalimide derivatives were evaluated for their preliminary biological activities against Gram-positive, Gram-negative and fungi strains. These encouraging results could be helpful for the development of new antibacterial or antifungal agents.  相似文献
