A high magnetic field of 5 T was used to fabricate a magnetically aligned, optically anisotropic, liquid‐crystalline chitin/poly(acrylic acid) composite. The aligned mesophase was fixed by photoinitiated free‐radical polymerization. From an examination of polarized optical micrographs and an X‐ray diffraction study, a high degree of orientation of 0.70 was observed for the composite with a higher liquid‐crystalline chitin concentration (10.70 wt %); the orientation was reduced with a decreased chitin concentration at a given acrylic acid concentration. The X‐ray data for the developed composite showed a uniplanar orientation for the chitin crystallites, with its molecular long axes perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 蚕蛹甲壳素的脱色方法与机理探讨 总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10
研究了从粗甲壳素 (分离蚕蛹蛋白质后的残渣 )中提取蚕蛹甲壳素的工艺条件 ,探索了H2 O2 氧化脱色方法。实验结果表明 ,在 70℃的水浴中 ,按照m(蚕蛹渣 )∶m(5 %氢氧化钠 ) =30∶80的质量比处理 2h ,可脱净残余蛋白 ,得到黑褐色的粗蚕蛹甲壳素。用H2 O2 脱色漂白 ,工艺条件为 :6 5~ 70℃ ,pH值为 8 5± 0 5 ,时间 5h ,m (蚕蛹渣 )∶m(30 %H2 O2 ) =5 0∶130。所得甲壳素白度为 30 % ,收率为 2 5 %。双氧水脱除蚕蛹甲壳素颜色的机理可能是H2 O2 分解的O2 -2 作用于铁硫蛋白与细胞色素复合物体系中的硫 ,将体系中半胱氨酸硫氧化成亚砜 ,使得色蛋白与甲壳素相连的键断开 ,从而使色素从甲壳素上分离下来。 相似文献

Complex polysaccharides have numerous pharmacological activities, such as antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral, immunomodulating, anticoagulant and anticancer effects. In personal care products, these biopolymers are used as thickener and stabilizing agents or as moisturizing ingredients that could be beneficial to the skin. Various polysaccharides, such as glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), hyaluronic acid (HA), carrageenan, fucose, fucoidan, chitin, chitosan, etc., have applications in cosmeceutical industries. GAGs and HA incorporated in moisturizing creams strengthen the skin barrier by forming a protective layer which prevents transdermal water loss. Epigenetic alterations found in all human cancers are promising targets for anticancer therapy. In this sense, histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACIs) are interesting anticancer agents that play an important role in the epigenetic regulation of cancer cells. Here, we report 15 novel hydroxamic acid-based histone deacetylase inhibitors with quinazolinone core structures. Five compounds exhibited antiproliferative activity with IC50 values of 3.4–37.8 µM. Compound 8 with a 2-mercaptoquinazolinone cap moiety displayed the highest antiproliferative efficacy against MCF-7 cells. For the HDAC6 target selectivity study, compound 8 displayed an IC50 value of 2.3 µM, which is 29.3 times higher than those of HDAC3, HDAC4, HDAC8, and HDAC11. Western blot assay proved that compound 8 strongly inhibited tubulin acetylation, a substrate of HDAC6. Compound 8 also displayed stronger inhibition activity against HDAC11 than the control drug Belinostat. The inhibitory mechanism of action of compound 8 on HDAC enzymes was then explored using molecular docking study. The data revealed a high binding affinity (−7.92 kcal/mol) of compound 8 toward HDAC6. In addition, dock pose analysis also proved that compound 8 might serve as a potent inhibitor of HDAC11. 相似文献
