In this paper, a very useful numerical technique has been developed for analyzing the transient characteristics of a planar-spiral inductor on-chip. A locally conformal technique and an alternating-direction implicit scheme are applied to the finite-difference time-domain method. A formulation for solving three dimensional Maxwell’s equations is proposed. Using the proposed method, various parameters of the planar-spiral inductors have been analyzed and an equivalent circuit, which includes frequency-independent circuit elements, has been introduced. Highly computational efficiency is implemented. Numerical results show excellent agreement with the measured data over a wide frequency range. 相似文献

We report on experiments that evaluate the potential of terahertz (THz) time-domain spectroscopy (TDS) for quality control
of polymeric compounds. We investigate specimens out of a polyethylene compound with silver-coated titanium dioxide nanospheres
and a glass-fiber reinforced epoxy composite. We further examine an industrial polymer product produced by injection molding.
Our data demonstrates that THz imaging is a powerful tool for contactless quality control in the polymer industry. 相似文献

The complex permittivity for chlorobenzene–alcohol binary mixtures have been determined over the frequency range of 10 MHz to 20 GHz, at 15, 25, 35, and 45°C, using the time-domain reflectometry (TDR) method for 11 concentrations of each chlorobenzene–alcohol system. The alcohols used were methanol, ethanol, and 1-propanol. The values of static dielectric constant, relaxation time, the corresponding excess properties, the Redlich–Kister coefficients up to the third order, the Kirkwood correlation factor, and thermodynamic parameters of the mixtures have been determined. The excess permittivity is found to be negative for chlorobenzene–methanol and chlorobenzene–ethanol, whereas it is positive in the 1-propanol rich region. The excess inverse relaxation time is negative for all the systems studied here. The Kirkwood effective correlation factor increases with an increasing in the molecular size of the alcohol, but decreases with increasing temperature. 相似文献

Dielectric-relaxation studies in the frequency range 200 kHz to 35 GHz are reported for a range of sugars (from mono- to trisaccharides) in aqueous solution. The complex dielectric spectra were analyzed using a weighted least-squares minimization method to resolve the various component relaxations, and the implications of the analyses in terms of the molecular dynamics of solute and solvent and the interactions between solute and solvent are discussed. For the highest concentration studied (ca. 2M), it was found that the most significant analysis required three discrete relaxation processes, whereas lower concentration samples could usually be satisfactorily fitted with two. Irrespective of any uncertainty in model selection, a number of conclusions regarding the solute-solvent interactions can be made, and it is shown how final quantification of the extents of hydration can be made using the input of information from other techniques. 相似文献

介绍了时域传输线和时域有限差分两种计算电缆X射线瞬态响应的方法,并利用电缆芯线总电荷以及介质层的电荷分布,结合实验结果,分别给出了时域传输线模型中的电流源和时域有限差分模型中电流密度的计算方法。作为例子,在60 keV单能X射线垂直于电缆轴向辐照的条件下,采用两种方法计算了电缆两端接匹配负载时负载上的电流响应;采用传输线方法计算了不同能量X射线辐照电缆时的芯线负载电流响应。计算结果表明,两种方法计算的电缆X射线瞬态响应是一致的;电缆介质层中存在静电场;X射线能量不同时,电缆芯线负载电流存在最大值。计算中,电缆与X射线的作用采用蒙特卡罗方法计算。 相似文献

提出了一种新的一维金属异质波导阵列的设计方案,即波导芯区周期调制的金属波导阵列.数值模拟的结果表明,金属波导芯区的周期调制引起波导中传播的表面等离激元有效折射率的周期调制,从而可在特定的波段打开一个表面等离激元带隙(如1550nm附近).通过引入合适的缺陷波导单元,可获得特定波长的高品质因子(Q=556)的表面电磁模共振.这一结果可用于设计亚波长的布拉格反射器、光发射器、滤波器等,有可能被用于未来的集成光路. 相似文献

Based on conformal construction of physical model in a three-dimensional Cartesian grid,an integral-based conformal convolutional perfectly matched layer(CPML) is given for solving the truncation problem of the open port when the enlarged cell technique conformal finite-difference time-domain(ECT-CFDTD) method is used to simulate the wave propagation inside a perfect electric conductor(PEC) waveguide.The algorithm has the same numerical stability as the ECT-CFDTD method.For the long-time propagation problems of an evanescent wave in a waveguide,several numerical simulations are performed to analyze the reflection error by sweeping the constitutive parameters of the integral-based conformal CPML.Our numerical results show that the integral-based conformal CPML can be used to efficiently truncate the open port of the waveguide. 相似文献
