用直接数值模拟的方法研究平板二维边界层对自由流中涡扰动的感受性.在自由流涡扰动与壁面凸起物的相互作用下,在边界层内找到了激发出来的Tollmein-Schlichting(T-S)波,证实了感受性现象及其中波长转变机制的存在.数值模拟得到的T-S波幅值与自由流扰动幅值、凸起高度及矩形凸起物长度的关系,与实验测量所得一致.则由此确定的感受性线性关系式的适用范围亦与实验所得相符.  相似文献

In this work, a study of the mechanism by which free‐stream acoustic and vorticity disturbances interact with a boundary layer flow developing over a flat plate featuring a step excrescence located at a certain distance from a blunt leading edge is included. The numerical tool is a high‐fidelity implicit numerical algorithm solving for the unsteady, compressible form of the Navier–Stokes equations in a body‐fitted curvilinear coordinates and employing high‐accurate compact differencing schemes with Pade‐type filters. Acoustic and vorticity waves are generated using a source term in the momentum and energy equations, as opposed to using inflow boundary conditions, to avoid spurious waves that may propagate from boundaries. The results show that the receptivity to surface step excrescences is largely the result of an overall adverse pressure gradient posed by the step, and that the free‐stream disturbances accelerate the generation of instabilities in the downstream. As expected, it is found that the acoustic disturbance interacting with the surface imperfection is more efficient in exciting the Tollmien–Schlichting waves than the vorticity disturbance. The latter generates Tollmien–Schlichting waves that are grouped in wave packets consistent with the wavelength of the free‐stream disturbance. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

General laws of the processes of generation and amplification of secondary perturbations in oscillating viscous fluid flows are studied theoretically. The stability and receptivity are analyzed with reference to perturbations generated by fluctuations of the flow rate of Poiseuille flow induced by small two-dimensional roughnesses of the channel walls. It is shown that the presence of roughness leads to excitation in the flow of perturbations at all multiples of the main flow oscillation frequency. Using the Fourier transform along the streamwise coordinate, the problem of calculating the frequency harmonics is reduced to a system of equations of the Orr-Sommerfeld type interrelated via the oscillatory component of the main flow. On the basis of an investigation of the analytic properties of the Fourier-image it is shown that upstream and downstream of the roughness the perturbation can be represented in the form of a superposition of modes of the time-dependent Poiseuille flow. The modes are classified and their spectrum is calculated. The structure of the mean-square fluctuations generated by free perturbations is investigated. Examples of calculating the evolution of forced perturbations are given for cases in which the scattering of the oscillations of the main flow on the roughness leads to the generation of one or two modes growing downstream.  相似文献

The disturbances generated by external turbulence in the boundary layer on a flat plate set suddenly in motion are determined. A turbulent flow calculated by direct numerical simulation is taken as the initial conditions. The solution obtained simulates the initial stage of laminar-turbulent transition in the flat-plate boundary layer at a high turbulence level in the oncoming flow. The solution makes it possible to estimate the effects of different factors, such as nonstationarity, nonlinearity, and the parameters of the freestream velocity fluctuation spectrum, on disturbance enhancement in the boundary layer.  相似文献

边界层流中当地感受性问题的研究对层流向湍流转捩过程的预测与控制起着非常关键的作用,尤其是对边界层内诱导产生三维Tollmien-Schlichting(T-S)波成因过程的探讨具有更加重要的理论意义.采用高精度、高分辨率变间距的紧致有限差分方法,直接数值模拟了在自由来流湍流与二维壁面局部粗糙相互作用下边界层内的当地感受性问题.数值计算发现,在自由来流湍流与二维壁面局部粗糙作用下,边界层内诱导形成的当地感受性过程是真实存在的;且被激发的一组三维T-S波波包沿流向发展的过程中流向涡结构将逐渐形成,其强度将越演越烈.数值结果还显示,边界层内被诱导产生当地感受性过程的波长转换机制仅使流向波数发生改变,而展向波数保持不变;以及自由来流湍流运动方向的改变将决定三维T-S波波包的传播方向,但其传播速度的大小都近似为无穷远来流速度的1/3.另外,还建立了自由来流湍流的强度和运动方向以及二维壁面局部粗糙的长度和高度与边界层内的当地感受性问题之间的关系等.这一课题的深入研究,将在进一步理解和认识层流向湍流转捩的理论机制,以及湍流的形成机理等方面均起到十分重要的作用.  相似文献

边界层流动转捩的预测与控制一直是流体力学研究中的一个重要问题. 三维边界层流动工程中十分常见, 而横流失稳是导致三维边界层流动转捩的主要原因. 本文综述了近些年来三维边界层失稳和转捩方面的研究概况. 从机理上讨论了横流扰动的感受性、首次失稳、二次失稳和转捩控制等方面的研究进展. 在数值计算方面, 简要概述了线性稳定性理论、非线性稳定性理论和直接数值模拟方法在横流失稳和转捩方面的应用.本文对横流失稳研究当前存在的问题进行了讨论, 对今后研究的发展趋势作了相应展望.  相似文献

高精度非线性格式WCNS的分析研究与其应用   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
首先将Fourier方法推广于高维方向研究了五阶精度WCNS的特性,并与其他高阶格式进行比较。分析结果表明WCNS的高精度特性普遍接近甚至好于迎风偏置五阶显式格式EUW-5与Pade′标准格式。然后开展了WCNS的应用研究,采用高效率的WCNS-E-5数值模拟了含强激波的高维复杂流场。算例包括二维高超声速边界层对自由流扰动波的吸收问题以及三维球头绕流问题。计算结果反映出WCNS-E-5对激波等间断的良好捕捉能力,图像清晰光滑,数据准确可靠。  相似文献

A high-order shock-fitting finite difference scheme is studied and used to do direction numerical simulation (DNS) of hypersonic unsteady flow over a blunt cone with fast acoustic waves in the free stream, and the receptivity problem in the blunt cone hypersonic boundary layers is studied. The results show that the acoustic waves are the strongest disturbance in the blunt cone hypersonic boundary layers. The wave modes of disturbance in the blunt cone boundary layers are first, second, and third modes which are generated and propagated downstream along the wall. The results also show that as the frequency decreases, the amplitudes of wave modes of disturbance increase, but there is a critical value. When frequency is over the critial value, the amplitudes decrease. Because of the discontinuity of curvature along the blunt cone body, the maximum amplitudes as a function of frequencies are not monotone. A method for rapidly damping instability waves is proposed as a means of actively controlling a perturbed gas boundary layer flow. The method is based on the use of an active body surface segment which reacts to an instantaneous local pressure variation by producing a proportional local wall displacement normal to the surface with a constant time lag calculated to result in the optimal suppression of unstable disturbances. It is shown that in the one-frequency case the wave number spectrum of the optimal control law contains multiple eigenvalues. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated over a wide range of variation of the instability wave frequencies and directions. The propagation of an instability wave over an active segment of finite length is calculated using an integral-equation method based on solving the problem of boundary layer flow receptivity to surface vibration. Explicit formulas describing the process of scattering of the instability wave into stable modes at the junction point of the rigid and active surfaces are obtained using the Fourier method and the integral Cauchy theorem.  相似文献
