To improve aircraft crash safety, conditions critical to occupants survival during a crash must be known. In view of the importance of this problem, studies of post-crash dynamic behavior of victims are necessary in order to reduce severe injuries. In this study, crash dynamics program SOM-LA/TA, incorporating a dynamic model of the human body with a finite element model of the seat structure was used. Modifications were performed in the program for reconstruction of an occupant's head impact with the interior walls or bulkhead. A viscoelastic-type contact force model was used to represent the compliance characteristics of the bulkhead. Correlated studies of analytical simulations with impact sled test results were accomplished. A parametric study of the coefficients in the contact force model was then performed in order to obtain the correlations between the coefficients and the Head Injury Criteria. A measure of optimal values for the bulkhead compliance and displacement requirements was thus achieved in order to keep the possibility of a head injury as little as possible. This information could in turn be used in the selection of suitable materials for the bulkhead, instrument panel, or interior walls of an aircraft.  相似文献

On the Use of the Restitution Condition in Flexible Body Dynamics   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The difference between the classical treatment offlexible body impact and the treatment of impact in flexiblemultibody dynamics is due to several fundamental reasons. Inthe classical impact theory, simple structures such as beamsand plates are used. Infinite dimensional models can bedeveloped for these simple structural elements to study theimpact dynamics and the wave propagation problem. Flexiblemultibody impact problems, on the other hand, involve bodieswith complex geometry that cannot be modeled using infinitenumber of degrees of freedom. Furthermore, the classicalimpact theory has been mainly concerned with the impactbetween a rigid mass that moves without constraints beforeit impacts a simple flexible structure. This is not amultibody simulation scenario in which the impact occursbetween kinematically constrained bodies that are subjectedto impulsive constraint forces in addition to the impactforces. These constraint forces can influence the motion ofthe two bodies immediately after impact, and as aconsequence, the simple classical theory scenario of impactdoes not apply. It is the objective of this paper to discussthe use of the restitution condition in flexible multibodyimpact problems and demonstrate that the use of thisapproach does not exclude the classical formulation.Nonetheless, the impulse momentum balance approach can serveas an effective and efficient procedure for solving theimpact problem in finite dimensional models that do not obeythe classical wave theory. Energy results of simplestructural elements are presented in order to demonstratethe consistency of using the impulse momentum balanceapproach in solving impact problems in finite dimensionalflexible body applications.  相似文献

Numerical methods for the efficient integration of both stiff and nonstiff equations of motion of multibody systems having the form of differential-algebraic equations (DAE) of index 3 are discussed. Linear multi-step ABM and BDF methods are considered for the non-iterational integration of nonstiff DAE. The Park method is proposed for integration of stiff equations. Recursive formulations have significantly helped in achieving real-time computations and model-based control laws. The recursive dynamics simulator (ReDySim) is a MATLAB-based recursive solver for dynamic analysis of multibody systems. ReDySim delves upon the decoupled natural orthogonal complement approach originally developed for serial-chain manipulators. In comparison to the commercially available software, dynamic analyses in ReDySim can be performed without creating solid model. The input parameters are specified in MATLAB environment. ReDySim has the capability to incorporate any control algorithm with utmost ease. In this work, the capabilities of ReDySim for solving open-loop and closed-loop systems are shown by examples of robotic gripper, KUKA KR5 industrial manipulator and four-bar mechanism. 吊装施工过程中被吊模块的水平度是作业要求的重要指标,通常需要增加配重调平。传统有限元方法需要补充约束以消除单元刚体位移,且需要重复计算平衡方程来求解调平载荷,效率不高。将模块的运动分解为随动坐标系的整体运动以及相对该坐标系的弹性变形,可将欠约束问题化为多体系统的静平衡问题。基于虚功率原理推导了吊装平顺时刻的节点力平衡方程以及相应的切线刚度矩阵,并将配重表示为基础配重与载荷系数相乘的形式。通过对节点力平衡方程求导,得到一组以载荷系数为自变量的微分方程,通过求解微分方程并结合水平度判据,可快速搜寻满足水平度要求的载荷系数。数值算例表明,该方法在解决偏心模块吊装欠约束问题方面具有明显的优势,在确定配重载荷方面具有较快的速度和合理的精度。  相似文献

One of the most well-known situations in which nonlinear effects must be taken into account to obtain realistic results is the rotating beam problem. This problem has been extensively studied in the literature and has even become a benchmark problem for the validation of nonlinear formulations. Among other approaches, the substructuring technique was proven to be a valid strategy to account for this problem. Later, the similarities between the absolute nodal coordinate formulation and the substructuring technique were demonstrated. At the same time, it was found the existence of a critical angular velocity, beyond which the system becomes unstable that was dependent on the number of substructures. Since the dependence of the critical velocity was not so far clear, this paper tries to shed some light on it. Moreover, previous studies were focused on a constant angular velocity analysis where the effects of Coriolis forces were neglected. In this paper, the influence of the Coriolis force term is not neglected. The influence of the reference conditions of the element frame are also investigated in this paper.  相似文献
