Out of a total statistics of 896139La+Ag(Br) interactions, 128 interactions having multiplicity of target fragments (Z⩾1)⩾8 and projectile fragments (Z⩾2)⩾4 have been selected. They correspond to quasi-peripheral interactions. Azimuthal angle correlation between sources of
target fragments (TFs) and projectile fragments (PFs) shows the existence of bounce-off effect. Using data of La+Ag(Br) and84Kr+Ag(Br) reactions it is shown that individual helium [Z=2, PFs] and heavier fragment [Z⩾3, PFs] show different emission characteristics. Further, a two prong correlation functionT(Φ
ij
) plotted for heavier fragments and helium fragments separately, indicates the possibility of existence of different physical
conditions. This observation is supported by the different momentum widths of helium fragments and heavier fragments. From
the momentum width data of Kr+Ag(Br) reactions normalized density comes out to be ≈4.7. Using quasi-elastic kinematics for
the bounce-off nuclei, the excitation energy has been computed from the experimental data of flow angles. The strength of
bounce-off seems to decrease with the increase of excitation energy or temperature. 相似文献

Granular flows in a rotating drum: the scaling law

The flow of dry granular material in a half-filled rotating drum is studied. The thickness of the flowing zone is measured
for several rotation speeds, drum
sizes and beads sizes (size ratio between drum and beads ranging from 47
to 7400). Varying the rotation speed, a scaling law linking
mean velocity vs. thickness of the flow, v∼hm, is deduced for each couple
(beads, drum). The
obtained exponent m is not always equal to 1, the value previously reported for a drum in litterature, but varies with the
geometry of the system.
For small size ratios, exponents higher
than 1 are obtained due to a saturation of the flowing zone thickness.
The exponent of the power law decreases with the size ratio, leading
to exponents lower than 1 for high size ratios. These exponents imply that
the velocity gradient of a dry granular flow in a rotating drum
is not constant. More fundamentally, these results show that the flow of a
granular material in a rotating drum is very sensible to the geometry, and that
the deduction of the “rheology” of a granular medium flowing in such a

Long-duration experiments with clouds of microparticles are planned for the ICAPS facility on board the International Space Station ISS. The scientific objectives of such experiments are widespread and are ranging from the simulation of aerosol behaviour in Earths atmosphere to the formation of planets in the early solar system. It is, however, even under microgravity conditions, impossible to sustain a cloud of free-floating, microscopic particles for an extended period of time, due to thermal diffusion and due to unavoidable external accelerations. Therefore, a trap for dust clouds is required which prevents the diffusion of the particles, which provides a source of relative velocities between the dust grains and which can also concentrate the dust to higher number densities that are otherwise not achievable. We are planning to use the photophoretic effect for such a particle trap. First short-duration microgravity experiments on the photophoretic motion of microscopic particles show that such an optical particle-cloud trap is feasible. First tests of a two-dimensional trap were performed in the Bremen drop tower. 相似文献

Recent studies have pointed out the importance of the
basal friction on the dynamics of granular flows. We present
experimental results on the influence of the roughness of the
inclined plane on the dynamics of a monodisperse dry granular
flow. We found experimentally that there exists a maximum of the
friction for a given relative roughness. This maximum is shown
to be independent of the slope angle. This behavior is observed
for four planes with different bump sizes (given by the size of
the beads glued on the plane) from 200 m to 2 mm. The relative
roughness corresponding to the maximum of the friction can be
predicted with a geometrical model of stability of one single
bead on the plane. The main parameters are the size of the bumps
and the size of the flowing beads. In order to obtain a higher
precision, the model also takes into account the spacing between
the bumps of the rough plane. Experimental results and model are
in good agreement for all the planes we studied. Other
parameters, like the sphericity of the beads, or irregularities
in the thickness of the layer of glued particles, are shown to

We establish that the kinematic constraints on the steady planar motion of an ideal fiber-reinforced fluid can be consolidated in a single third-order nonlinear equation. Remarkably, this equation admits a solitonic reduction related to the classical sine-Gordon equation. 为了实现 EAST 装置真空室内的内窥多关节机械臂的实时高精度控制,提出了一种逆运动学算法,即建立机械臂多变量的方程组,转化成为矩阵的特征值问题求解。为了验证和满足实际控制的需要,还基于 VC++6.0 开发了 MFC 运动学算法程序。结果表明,该算法能在 ms 级别内得到机械臂的所有运动学逆解。 相似文献
