We show that Poisson integrals belonging to certain weighted harmonic Bergman spaces bδp on the upper half-space must have the moment vanishing properties. As an application, we show that b0p, p?1, contains a dense subspace whose members have the horizontal moment vanishing properties. Also, we derive related weighted norm inequalities for Poisson integrals. As a consequence, we obtain a characterization for Poisson integrals of continuous functions with compact support in order to belong to bδp.  相似文献

In this work, we consider the problem of a half space in the context of the theory of generalized thermoelasticity with one relaxation time. Realistically, the boundary conditions of the problem are considered to be stochastic. Laplace transform technique is used to solve the problem. The boundary conditions are considered to be of a type white noise. The inverse transforms are obtained in an approximate manner using asymptotic expansions valid for small values of time. Numerical results are given and represented graphically. Finally, a comparison with the ideal case when the boundary conditions are deterministic is carried out.  相似文献

This article presents a general theory on indentation over a multiferroic composite half-space. The material is transversely isotropic and magneto-electro-elastic with its axis of symmetry normal to the surface of the half-space. Based on the corresponding half-space Green’s functions to point sources applied on the surface, explicit expressions for the generalized pressure vs. indentation depth are derived for the first time for the three common indenters (flat-ended, conical, and spherical punches). The important multiphase coupling issue is discussed in detail, with the weak and strong coupling being correctly revisited. The derived analytical solutions of indentation will not only serve as benchmarks for future numerical studies of multiphase composites, but also have important applications to experimental test and characterization of multiphase materials, in particular, of multiferroic properties.  相似文献

We present a modification of Dykstra's algorithm which allows us to avoid projections onto general convex sets. Instead, we calculate projections onto either a half-space or onto the intersection of two half-spaces. Convergence of the algorithm is established and special choices of the half-spaces are proposed.The option to project onto half-spaces instead of general convex sets makes the algorithm more practical. The fact that the half-spaces are quite general enables us to apply the algorithm in a variety of cases and to generalize a number of known projection algorithms.The problem of projecting a point onto the intersection of closed convex sets receives considerable attention in many areas of mathematics and physics as well as in other fields of science and engineering such as image reconstruction from projections.In this work we propose a new class of algorithms which allow projection onto certain super half-spaces, i.e., half-spaces which contain the convex sets. Each one of the algorithms that we present gives the user freedom to choose the specific super half-space from a family of such half-spaces. Since projecting a point onto a half-space is an easy task to perform, the new algorithms may be more useful in practical situations in which the construction of the super half-spaces themselves is not too difficult.  相似文献

We have recently discussed the performance of local second-order two-dimensional absorbing boundary conditions of elliptical shape for scattering and radiation problems involving sound-hard obstacles embedded in a full-plane. In this article, using the method of images, we extend the applicability of elliptically shaped truncation boundaries to semi-infinite acoustic media. For problems in either the time- or the frequency-domains, involving near-surface structures of elongated cross-sections, we show that significant computational savings are attainable when compared against semi-circular truncation geometries.  相似文献

The system of singular integral equations which is obtained from the integro-differential form of the linear transport equation using the Placzek lemma is solved. The exit distributions at the boundaries of the various media and the infinite medium Green's function are used. The process is applied to the half-space and finite slab problems. The neutron angular density in terms of singular eigenfunctions of the method of elementary solutions is also used to derive the same analytical expressions.  相似文献

Surface wave motions generated by a time-harmonic point load applied at the surface of an isotropic linearly elastic half-space are conventionally solved by the use of integral transform techniques. The inverse transforms, are often complicated and will not always yield closed-form solutions. In this paper expressions for the displacements for surface wave motions radiated from point-load excitation are determined in a simple manner by the use of the elastodynamic reciprocity theorem. It is shown that the radiated amplitudes of the surface displacements obtained by the reciprocity approach are identical to the corresponding results obtained by the use of Hankel transform and by Lamb in his classical paper.  相似文献

Scattering of surface waves by a cylindrical cavity at the surface of a homogenous, isotropic, linearly elastic half-space is analyzed in this paper. In the usual manner, the scattered field is shown to be equivalent to the radiation from a distribution of tractions, obtained from the incident wave on the surface of the cavity. For the approximation used in this paper, these tractions are shifted to tractions applied to the projection of the cavity on the surface of the half-space. The radiation of surface waves from a normal and a tangential line load, recently determined by the use of the reciprocity theorem, is employed to obtain the field scattered by the cavity from the superposition of displacements due to the distributed surface tractions. The vertical displacement at some distance from the cavity is compared with the solution of the scattering problem obtained by the boundary element method (BEM) for various depths and widths of the cavity. Comparisons between the analytical and BEM results are graphically displayed. The limitations of the approximate approach are discussed based on the comparisons with the BEM results.  相似文献

The purpose of this work is to solve the exterior Stokes problem in the half-space . We study the existence and the uniqueness of generalized solutions in weighted L p theory with 1 < p < ∞. Moreover, we consider the case of strong solutions and very weak solutions. This paper extends the studies done in Alliot, Amrouche (Math. Methods Appl. 23:575–600, 2000) for an exterior Stokes problem in the whole space and in Amrouche, Bonzom (Exterior Problems in the Half-space, submitted) for the Laplace equation in the same geometry as here.   相似文献

This paper is devoted to solving globally the boundary value problem for the incompressible inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes equations in the half-space in the case of small data with critical regularity. In dimension n?3, we state that if the initial density ρ0 is close to a positive constant in and the initial velocity u0 is small with respect to the viscosity in the homogeneous Besov space then the equations have a unique global solution. The proof strongly relies on new maximal regularity estimates for the Stokes system in the half-space in , interesting for their own sake.  相似文献
