Design,synthesis and liquid crystalline behavior of ethyl 4-((4-alkoxyphenyl)diazenyl)benzoates

A series of ethyl 4-((4-alkoxyphenyl)diazenyl)benzoate is synthesized and the liquid crystalline behavior studied. Synthesized compounds are characterized by FTIR, ¹H-NMR, Mass and single crystal XRD. Differential scanning calorimetry was carried out to study the phase transitions and enthalpy changes. Polarizing optical microscopy revealed the mesogenic properties. These techniques revealed that three compounds (2a, 2b, 2f) exhibit liquid crystalline properties in the range of 80–104°C. POM exhibiting focal conical fan like texture which revealed the presence of smectic phases suggestive of their use in LCD and temperature sensing devices, besides 2c can be used as green emitter in OLEDs.     

偶氮苯取代吡唑啉衍生物PMMA薄膜的光诱导双折射性质研究

芳香族偶氮化合物的顺反异构化反应长期以来一直受到人们的关注 [1,2 ] .当把偶氮生色团引入到聚合物中时 ,在线性偏振光的激发下 ,偶氮生色团能发生“反 -顺 -反”光异构化循环 ,并且偶氮发色团会沿着偏振光偏振方向的法线重新取向 ,从而导致光致双折射现象的发生 [3 ] .因此 ,这类聚合物在光学存储 [4 ] 、光学开关和全息光栅 [5] 等方面具有重要的应用价值 .为研究偶氮苯的结构对光诱导双折射性质的影响 ,本文制备了偶氮苯取代的三苯基吡唑啉衍生物 ,并把其掺杂入 PMMA中 ,研究了薄膜的偏振光诱导光致双折射性质 ,讨论了温度对其光致双…     

新显色剂1-（对-偶氮苯）-3-（5-硝基-2-吡啶）-三氮烯的合成及其与镉的显色反应

报道了新显色剂 1 - (对 -偶氮苯 ) - 3- ( 5-硝基 - 2 -吡啶 ) -三氮烯 ( APNPT)的合成及其与镉的显色反应。在非离子表面活性剂 OP的存在下 ,p H1 0 .8时 ,镉 ( )与 APNPT形成 1∶ 2的稳定红色配合物 ,其最大吸收波长为 52 5nm,表观摩尔吸光系数为 1 .7× 1 0 5L· mol-1· cm-1,线性范围为 0～ 2 .8μg/1 0 m L,是目前测定微量镉的高灵敏显色反应之一 ,所拟方法已用于水样中微量镉 ( )的测定。
