Viscometric study of gelatin in dilute aqueous solutions

The viscosities of aqueous solutions of gelatin at different temperatures were carefully measured in a common glass‐capillary Ubbelohde viscometer at dilute to extremely dilute concentrations. The adsorption effect that occurred in the viscosity measurements was theoretically analyzed and discussed. A theory based on Langmuir isotherms could adequately describe the existing data. Some structural information was obtained by the use of an iterative fitting procedure to treat the reduced viscosity data, which disclosed that individual gelatin chains underwent a coil‐to‐helix transition as the solution cooled from 40 to 15 °C. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Selective formation of heterodimeric resorcinarene capsules

C_2V-symmetrical resorcinarene tetraesters 1 form in CDCl₃ dimeric capsules encapsulating one Me₄N⁺ cation. The homodimeric capsules of the tetra(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoate) 1d and tetrabenzoate 1b or tetrafuroylate 1c disproportionate in solution to give quantitatively the heterodimers. The higher stability of the heterodimer is, most probably, caused by π-π attractions between the π-basic trimethoxyphenyl rings of 1d and relatively more π-accepting phenyl or furyl fragments of 1b or 1c.     

阿斯美胶囊中四种组分的高效液相色谱分析

建立了反相高效液相色谱法测定阿斯美胶囊中氨茶碱、盐酸甲氧非那明、马来酸氯苯那敏及那可汀四种组分的含量。色谱柱为ＳｐｈｅｒｉｓｏｒｂＣ８，５μｍ，２００ｃｍ×４０ｍｍＩＤ，流动相为体积分数０５％的三乙胺溶液（磷酸调节ｐＨ５５）＋乙腈＋甲醇（５５０＋３６８＋８２），检测波长为２６４ｎｍ，线性范围分别为：氨茶碱３１２５～２５０ｍｇ／Ｌ，γ＝０９９９６，盐酸甲氧非那明１５６２５～１２５０ｍｇ／Ｌ，γ＝１００００，马来酸氯苯那敏２５～２００ｍｇ／Ｌ，γ＝０９９９９，那可汀８７５～７００ｍｇ／Ｌ，γ＝０９９９９；回收率（ｎ＝３）分别为１０１２％，１００８％，９９９％，９９５％；精密度：日内平均ＲＳＤ（ｎ＝６）分别为０７％，０４％，０４％，０６％；日间平均ＲＳＤ（ｎ＝３）分别为１０％，１０％，１１％，１２％。     

Phenol-triggered supramolecular transformation of titanium–oxo cluster based coordination capsules

Supramolecular transformations of coordination cage or capsule have received much attention recently,which help elucidate this natural self-assembly behavior in biological systems.The current study describes the first supramolecular transformation of titanium-o rganic coordination capsule triggered by phenol(and H_3 PO_3).The structural alterations are accompanied by the reconstruction of 5-coordinated Ti centers to 6-coordinated ones.Meanwhile,different amounts of encapsulated phenol guest molecules can be identified,dependent on the sizes of the obtained cavities.In addition,they display much better visible light absorption and air stability than the isopropanol stabilized ones.     

明胶/羟基磷灰石复合物微球中明胶对无机相影响的研究

在油包水的乳液体系中,通过原位合成的方法使羟基磷灰石(HAP)在明胶链上化学沉积,改变明胶溶液的浓度,制得了一系列的明胶/HAP复合物微球.采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FTIR)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)和热失重分析仪(TGA)等对产物的组成、形貌以及热失重情况进行了表征.结果表明,明胶用量对复合物微球中HAP的形成具有重要影响.在明胶溶液浓度为0.025 g/mL时,明胶分子链提供的结合位点恰好与溶液中游离的Ca²⁺、PO₄^3-等离子达到平衡状态,复合物微球中无机相含量达40%,这是明胶与HAP以化学键合的形式结合所能得到的最大值.     

UV-Derivative Spectrophotometric Determination of Ritonavir Capsules and Comparison with LC Method

Abstract

An ultraviolet-derivative spectrophotometric method (UV-D) has been proposed as an alternative to a previously described liquid chromatographic (LC) method for the quantitative determination of ritonavir in soft gelatin capsules. The spectrophotometric method is based on recording the second-derivative spectra for ritonavir at 222.3 nm of its solutions in methanol. The linear dynamic range was 10.0–30.0 µg · mL^?1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9995. Mean recoveries were between 99.2% and 100.2% for the tested capsules samples. Mean intra- and interassay relative standard deviations (RSDs) were less than 2.0%. The statistic analysis showed that LC and UV-D methods were equivalent to assay ritonavir capsules.
