The reaction of chloromethylsilanes with amines,hexamethyldisilazanes, and silylcarhamates

The reactions of chloromethylsilanes with amines, hexamethyldisilazane, and silylcarbamates were studied. The dependence of the composition and structure of the resulting products on the nature of the reagents used and reaction conditions was determined. A scheme for the synthesis of 4,9-diaza-2,7-dioxa-1,6-disilacyclodecane-3,8-dione derivatives was suggested.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Synthesis and chemical transformations of silicon-containing derivatives ofN,N-dimethylhydrazine

Reactions of carbofunctional organosilicon compounds withN,N-dimethyl-N′-trimethylsilylhydrazine andN,N-dimethyl-N′,N′-bis(trimethylsilyl)hydrazine were studied. The composition and structure of the reaction products were found to be dependent on the reagent nature and the reaction conditions. 1,4-Dimethylamino-2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-1,4-diaza-2,5-disilacyclohexane, a first representative of a new type of 2,5-disilapiperazines, was synthesized. Synthesis and chemical properties of silapiperazines and derivatives of 1,6-dioxa-3,8-diaza-5,10-disilacyclodecane-2,7-dione

The results of studies dealing with the synthesis of six- and ten-membered silicon-nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds are presented. The structures and reactivities of these compounds have been studied. High reactivities of 2,5-disilapiperazines and 1,6-dioxa-3,8-diaza-5,10-disilacyclodecane-2,7-dione derivatives have been noted.
