We give a short proof for the Mixed Connectivity Certificate Theorem of Even, Itkis and Rajsbaum and provide an upper bound on the edge number of a certificate of local T-mixed connectivity up to k.     

Concentration for self‐bounding functions and an inequality of Talagrand

A Study of Highly Qualified Science Teachers' Career Trajectory in the Deep,Rural South: Examining a Link Between Deprofessionalization and Teacher Dissatisfaction

Science teacher retention, attrition, and migration continue to perplex educational scholars, political entities, as well as the general public. This study utilized an interpretive methodological design to generate assertions regarding career choice made by highly qualified science teachers in the deep, rural South through analysis of documents, interviews, focus groups, and observation. Generally considered “difficult to staff” because of location, socioeconomics, and demographics, Wilson County High School is an exemplar in science teacher retention and student achievement. Findings presented include how the science department at Wilson County improved student learning outcomes as well as the reasons why two of the highly qualified science teachers at this school were considering leaving the profession they love.

美国《科学教师培养标准(2020年版)》针对《新一代科学教育标准》的推行而修订,立足于科学教育最新研究成果,尤其突出学科内容知识的重要性,补充对科学本质和科学文化的要求,强化对工程和技术、交叉概念、学科观念的理解,突出学习进阶规律在科学教师培养中的应用。此外,在学科教学法、学习环境、安全、对学生学习的影响等维度做出相应的改动。该标准启示我国:借鉴国际改革趋势出台中国特色的科学教师培养标准,但科学教师培养也要本土化;学科内容知识对科学教师专业发展非常重要;科学教师的培养应立足于学习进阶的规律;职前科学教师培养需要注重学习环境建设。     

地方高校化学师范生对教师职业认同现状及影响因素调查研究

采用问卷和访谈的方式对化学师范生对教师职业认同情况进行了调查。结果表明：化学师范生对教师职业认同总体水平较高;教师职业认同水平在性别上差异不显著;教师职业认同水平在年级上差异显著,大一师范生的认同水平较高。根据调查结果,分析了化学师范生对教师职业认同的影响因素,并就提升化学师范生对教师职业认同提出了建议。     

高师生实验探究洋葱中挥发性化学物质

利用实验室一般仪器,对洋葱中挥发性化学成分如含硫化合物、醇类、醛类、羧酸进行了定性检测,旨在让高师生体验探究学习,掌握探究方法,发展实验设计和探究能力。     

基于园区网络的主动安全模型设计与研究

从现行典型园区网络安全设计方案入手，结合其在安全防范解决方案上存在的问题，提出了一种网络主动安全模型；在全局网络安全认识的基础上．阐述了模型组成部件的功能定义和网络主动安全实现流程；采用统一网络入口认证、网络知识发现及资源有效控制、沟通等手段，解决了现行网络安全设计中存在的恶意攻击行为源头定位困难，以及信息安全司法取证不准、网络资源安全被动防护、网络灾难快速反映能力差等问题．实验结果表明，该设计方案具有较好的可行性和实用性．     

Safe bounds in linear and mixed-integer linear programming

Current mixed-integer linear programming solvers are based on linear programming routines that use floating-point arithmetic. Occasionally, this leads to wrong solutions, even for problems where all coefficients and all solution components are small integers. An example is given where many state-of-the-art MILP solvers fail. It is then shown how, using directed rounding and interval arithmetic, cheap pre- and postprocessing of the linear programs arising in a branch-and-cut framework can guarantee that no solution is lost, at least for mixed-integer programs in which all variables can be bounded rigorously by bounds of reasonable size.
