Level shift operators describe the second-order displacement of eigenvalues under perturbation. They play a central role in resonance theory and ergodic theory of open quantum systems at positive temperatures. We exhibit intrinsic properties of level shift operators, properties which stem from the structure of open quantum systems at positive temperatures and which are common to all such systems. They determine the geometry of resonances bifurcating from eigenvalues of positive temperature Hamiltonians and they relate the Gibbs state, the kernel of level shift operators, and zero energy resonances. We show that degeneracy of energy levels of the small part of the open quantum system causes the Fermi Golden Rule Condition to be violated and we analyze ergodic properties of such systems. 相似文献

The helicity dependence of the γ
p↦pη reaction has been measured for the first time at a center-of-mass angle θ*
η = 70° in the photon energy range from 780 MeV to 790 MeV. The experiment, performed at the Mainz microtron MAMI, used a 4π-detector
system, a circularly polarized, tagged photon beam, and a longitudinally polarized frozen-spin target. The helicity 3/2 cross-section
is found to be small and the results for helicity 1/2 agree with predictions from the MAID analysis.

We present measurements of the attenuation and phase velocity of surface acoustic waves in thin YBa2Cu3O films as a function of temperature, in magnetic fields up to 3.6 T applied parallel to the c-axis of the films. We have observed anomalies in both, the attenuation and the phase velocity in the vicinity of the superconducting
critical temperature which do not depend on the magnetic field. Possible origins of these anomalies, observed, to our knowledge,
for the first time in YBa2Cu3O thin films, are discussed and compared to bulk acoustic wave experiments. We present a kind of feedback technique for surface
acoustic waves which improves the sensitivity of this type of measurement. The actual sensitivity limits are mentioned.

The stabilization method is applied to the case of interacting resonances in the photo-dissociation of van der Waals clusters
composed by a rare gas atom bound to a dihalogen molecule. The study of an illustrative two-dimensional model consisting in
a T-shaped NeI2 molecule shows the adequacy of the method whenever the projection of the stabilization wave functions on the assumed prepared
initial state is accounted for. The agreement of the fragmentation cross-sections with some previous results using the effective
resolvent method and accurate close-coupling calculations is excellent. The method reveals its utility as a complementary
tool since allows, through the analysis of the stabilization wave function in terms of zero-order levels, a precise characterization
of the resonant states involved.

Summary An extension of the multiconfigurational SCF approach for the resolution of the vibrational problem is presented; it follows the philosophy of the CASSCF method developed in Quantum Chemistry. The new method allows a more complete treatment of anharmonic mode couplings, converges much faster and gives a clearer physical insight of vibrational interactions. This is exemplified by the calculation of infrared transition moments in the H2O and D2O isotopomers of the water molecule. It is shown how this property varies with the quality of the wave function when vibrational resonances occur. A detailed analysis by means of this new VCASSCF method demonstrates the crucial importance of excited bending oscillators in the intensity of some pure stretching transitions.Boursier F.R.I.A. 相似文献
