Two different rehydration procedures in the liquid or gas phase have been applied to reconstruct mixed oxides derived from calcined hydrotalcite-like materials to be used as catalysts for aldol condensation reactions. The as-synthesized hydrotalcite, its decomposition product, as well as the reconstructed solids upon rehydration were characterized by XRD, N(2) adsorption, He pycnometry, FTIR, SEM, TEM, (27)Al MAS-NMR and CO(2)-TPD (TPD=temperature-programmed desorption). Compared to the Mg-Al mixed oxide rehydrated in the gas phase (HT-rg), that rehydrated in the liquid phase (HT-rl) exhibits a superior catalytic performance with respect to the aldol condensation of citral with ketones to yield pseudoionones and in the self-aldolization of acetone. The textural properties of HT-rl and HT-rg differ strongly and determine the catalytic behavior. A memory effect led to a higher degree of reconstruction of the lamellar structure when the mixed oxide was rehydrated in the gas phase rather than in the liquid phase, although liquid-phase rehydration under fast stirring produced a surface area that was 26 times greater. This contrasts to typical statements in the literature claiming a higher degree of reconstruction in the presence of large amounts of water in the medium. CO(2)-TPD shows that the number of OH(-) groups and their nature are very similar in HT-rg and HT-rl, and cannot explain the markedly different catalytic behavior. Accordingly, only a small fraction of the available basic sites in the rehydrated samples is active in liquid-phase aldol condensations. Our results support the model in which only basic sites near the edges of the hydrotalcite platelets are partaking in aldol reactions. Based on this, reconstructed materials with small crystallites (produced by exfoliation during mechanical stirring), that is, possessing a high external surface area, are beneficial in the reactions compared to larger crystals with a high degree of intraplatelet porosity.  相似文献

Summary Magnesium oxide was produced through calcination of magnesite ore. A rehydration percentage of MgO to Mg(OH)2 of higher than 60% is obtained using calcination temperatures of 1000°C and below. At these temperatures medium reactive MgO was formed. The extend to which dead burnt MgO (obtained after calcination at 1200°C and higher) may be rehydrated is dependent on the calcination time, but even after 1 h and using magnesium acetate as a hydrating agent only 40% of the initial product has rehydrated to Mg(OH)2. After 4 and more hours of calcinations at 1200°C, a maximum of approximately 14% of the initial MgO is rehydrated back to Mg(OH)2. Thermogravimetric analysis was performed on the various compounds to determine the amounts of Mg(OH)2 that formed.  相似文献

The effect of formation and modification methods on the physical properties of polymersomes is critical for their use in applications relying on their ability to mimic functional properties of biological membranes. In this study, we compared two formation methods for polymersomes made from polybutadiene‐polyethylene oxide diblock copolymers: detergent‐mediated film rehydration (DFR) and solvent evaporation (SE). DFR‐prepared polymersomes showed a three times higher permeability compared to SE‐prepared polymersomes as revealed by stopped‐flow light scattering. SE‐prepared polymersomes broke down faster to structures <50 nm diameter when processed with extrusion, which was more pronounced at 5 mg mL?1, compared to 10, 20, and 25 mg mL?1. Our results indicate that the bilayer of SE‐prepared polymersomes has a lower apparent fluidity. We also investigated the role of n‐octyl‐β‐d ‐glucopyranoside (OG), a detergent typically used for reconstitution of membrane proteins into lipid bilayers. Specifically, we compared dialysis and biobeads for OG removal to investigate the influence of these methods on bilayer conformation and polymer rearrangement following detergent removal. There was no significant difference found between method, temperature, or time within each method. 采用低场核磁(LF-NMR)及其成像技术(MRI)研究干制虾仁在25℃复水过程中的水分含量、分布及状态变化,并通过线性回归分析不同复水时间干制虾仁的LF-NMR参数与质构特性及复水率的相关性。实验结果表明,干制虾仁复水过程中存在结合水、不可移动水和自由水3个组分峰,随着复水时间的增加,结合水无明显变化,而自由水、不易流动水含量增加,且自由度增加,流动性增大。LF-NMR参数(T_(22)、T_(23)、A_(22)、A_(23)和A_(Total))和硬度、咀嚼性、弹性、凝聚性以及复水率有极显著的相关性(R~2≥0.613),为干制虾仁复水过程中品质的快速无损预测提供了一种新方法。  相似文献

The rehydration characteristics of a commercially produced hydromagnesite and two basic magnesium carbonates synthetically produced from Mg(OH)2, are presented. The products were dehydrated and dehydroxylated at 325°C before rehydration was attempted. DTA and FT-IR were used to follow the structural changes that occurred during the rehydration processes. The results obtained for the commercially and synthetically produced hydromagnesite products indicated that the original symmetry of the groups was reclaimed during rehydration. This was not observed for the synthetically produced unidentified basic magnesium carbonate product. This investigation provides insight into the rehydration characteristics of a select group of basic magnesium carbonates. Much attention has been paid by chemists to the construction of supramolecular coordination compounds based on the multifunctional ligand 5‐sulfosalicylic acid (H3SSA) due to the structural and biological interest of these compounds. However, no coordination compounds have been reported for the multifunctional amino‐substituted sulfobenzoate ligand 2‐amino‐5‐sulfobenzoic acid (H2asba). We expected that H2asba could be a suitable building block for the assembly of supramolecular networks due to its interesting structural characteristics. The reaction of cadmium(II) nitrate with H2asba in the presence of the auxiliary flexible dipyridylamide ligand N,N′‐bis[(pyridin‐4‐yl)methyl]oxamide (4bpme) under ambient conditions formed a new mixed‐ligand coordination compound, namely bis(3‐amino‐4‐carboxybenzenesulfonato‐κO1)diaquabis{N,N′‐bis[(pyridin‐4‐yl)methyl]oxamide‐κN}cadmium(II)–N,N′‐bis[(pyridin‐4‐yl)methyl]oxamide–water (1/1/4), [Cd(C7H6NO5S)2(C14H14N4O2)2(H2O)2]·C14H14N4O2·4H2O, (1), which was characterized by single‐crystal and powder X‐ray diffraction analysis (PXRD), FT–IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TG), and UV–Vis and photoluminescence spectroscopic analyses in the solid state. The central CdII atom in (1) occupies a special position on a centre of inversion and exhibits a slightly distorted octahedral geometry, being coordinated by two N atoms from two monodentate 4bpme ligands, four O atoms from two monodentate 4‐amino‐3‐carboxybenzenesulfonate (Hasba) ligands and two coordinated water molecules. Interestingly, complex (1) further extends into a threefold polycatenated 0D→2D (0D is zero‐dimensional and 2D is two‐dimensional) interpenetrated supramolecular two‐dimensional (4,4) layer through intermolecular hydrogen bonding. The interlayer hydrogen bonding further links adjacent threefold polycatenated two‐dimensional layers into a three‐dimensional network. The optical properties of complex (1) indicate that it may be used as a potential indirect band gap semiconductor material. Complex (1) exhibits an irreversible dehydration–rehydration behaviour. The fluorescence properties have also been investigated in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

The quick-cooking rice product is an interesting product for the market which is easy to cook, with good sensorial qualities and health benefits. This work aimed to study the effect of the soaking conditions, namely baking powder concentration (0.1, 0.2, or 0.3%), soaking temperature (room temperature, 50 or 60 °C), and soaking time (10, 20, or 30 min), in order to improve the physical properties and also the sensory characteristics, with high bioactive compound content, of Quick-Cooking Black Jasmine Rice (QBJR). The physical properties of the final product, namely the rehydration capacity, morphology, and texture, were observed. Moreover, the total phenolic, total flavonoid, and total anthocyanin were determined. The results showed that the samples with a high baking powder concentrations soaked at high temperatures for longer time affect the low rehydration capacity with a high hardness value and a decreased bioactive compound content. In addition, the sensory score including softener, flavor, and overall acceptance were lower score. Moreover, to determine the best soaking condition with complex data, the Fuzzy Analytical Method (FAM) was performed by an online FAM program. The results showed that soaking at room temperature for 30 min in 0.1% of baking powder showed the highest overall performance index of 6.52.  相似文献

Two new CoII coordination polymers (CPs), namely, catena‐poly[[[(5‐amino‐2,4,6‐tribromobenzene‐1,3‐dicarboxylato‐κO)aquacobalt(II)]‐bis[μ‐1,3‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene‐κ2N:N′]] 4.75‐hydrate], {[Co(C8H2Br3NO4)(C14H14N4)2(H2O)]·4.75H2O}n, (1), and poly[(μ‐5‐amino‐2,4,6‐tribromobenzene‐1,3‐dicarboxylato‐κ2O1:O3)[μ‐1,2‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene‐κ2N:N′]cobalt(II)], [Co(C8H2Br3NO4)(C14H14N4)]n, (2), have been synthesized successfully by the assembly of multifunctional 5‐amino‐2,4,6‐tribromoisophthalic acid (H2ATBIP) and CoII ions in the presence of the flexible isomeric bis(imidazole) ligands 1,3‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene (mbix) and 1,2‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene (obix). The isomeric mbix and obix ligands have a big influence on the structures of CPs (1) and (2). CP (1) is composed of chains of nanometre‐sized elliptical rings, in which the CoII atom exhibits a distorted octahedral coordination geometry and ATBIP2− acts as a monodentate ligand. Two adjacent chains are interlinked by π–π stacking interactions and hydrogen bonds, resulting in a supramolecular double chain. Hydrogen‐bonded R86(16) rings extend adjacent supramolecular double chains into a two‐dimensional supramolecular layer. Halogen bonding and a hydrogen‐bonded R42(8) ring further link the two‐dimensional supramolecular layers, leading to the formation of a three‐dimensional supramolecular network. The CoII ion in CP (2) is tetracoordinated, exhibiting a distorted tetrahedral configuration. The ATBIP2− ligand exhibits a bis(monodentate) coordination bridging mode, linking adjacent CoII ions into zigzag chains, which are further bridged by the auxiliary bridging obix ligand, resulting in a two‐dimensional (4,4) topological network. Interlayer hydrogen and halogen–halogen bonding further extend the two‐dimensional layers into a three‐dimensional supramolecular network. A detailed analysis of the solid‐state UV–Vis–NIR diffuse‐reflectance spectra of (1) and (2) indicates that a wide optical band gap exists in both (1) and (2). CP (1) exhibits an irreversible dehydration–rehydration behaviour.  相似文献

The 5-nitro-2-anthranilates of lanthanum(III), samarium(III), terbium(III), erbium(III) and lutetium(III) were obtained as hydrates having 2.5 mol of water molecules per 1 mol of compound. The compounds are isostructural. The processes of dehydration and rehydration were investigated. The first step of dehydration does not cause the change of crystal structure. The entire dehydration gives anhydrous compounds with different structure than the structure of hydrates. However, the dehydration of La, Sm, Tb and Er is reversible - the rehydration process gives the complexes having the same crystal structure as the initial compounds. Only the anhydrous lutetium complex under the influence of moisture does not give the starting compound.
