A decision scheme for the interpretation of spectra from wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry is described that encompasses elements from three areas of artificial intelligence: fuzzy logic, rule based expert systems and neural net technology.After transforming the recorded spectra to line spectra by appropriate background correction a reasoning scheme is applied that takes into account not only the observed spectra, but also the recording conditions and prior spectroscopic information regarding the relative emission probabilities and the usefulness of the different lines for the purpose of element identification. The latter is done on the basis of a previously described scheme to compute conditional a posteriori Bayes probabilities for a mean matrix. These different pieces of information are then assembled into a battery of fuzzy rules. The importance of the rules as well as the importance of the X-ray lines is determined in a training process, similar to the one in a feedforward back-propagation network.To further stabilize the results this network is pruned in a second training cycle. This, however, had little effect on the quality of interpretation.The advantages of this approach to the interpretation of X-ray spectra over older ones are numerous: the system adapts itself to better interpret spectra that are of greater importance to a laboratory as these are better represented in the training set; the fuzzy logic is capable of working with incomplete and uncertain knowledge, and the neural network results based on these fuzzy rules is readily interpretable by the X-ray spectroscopist as every rule can be expressed also in natural language as in any classical rule based system.On leave from Silesian University, Katowice, Poland  相似文献

Ginkgo biloba L. leaf (GBL) is one of the most commonly used medicinal plants in the world. Phenolic acids with biological activities have a relatively high content in G. biloba leaf extracts (GBE); therefore they are of great significance for the quality control of GBL, GBE and its preparations. However, there have been few studies focused on their analysis. In this work, 12 phenolic acids, including 11 phenolic acid glycosides, were identified by liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC–Q-TOF/MS). Then, a method combining enzymolysis with HPLC was established for quantification of phenolic acid glycosides. It was found that the aglycones of phenolic acid glycosides mainly comprised five phenolic acids: 2,4,6-trihydroxybenzoic acid, protocatechuic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, vanillic acid and p-coumaric acid. The quantitative method was validated, and the correlation coefficient (0.9993–0.9999), recovery (≥88.4%), repeatability (≤0.8%), and inter-day precision (≤5.5%) were satisfactory. Finally, the contents of glycosides of five phenolic acids in GBL, GBE and GBE injection from different sources were determined by the developed method. The method was accurate, repeatable and practicable, which could be helpful for the quantification of phenolic acid glycosides in other products containing GBL or GBE.  相似文献

A new concept of approximation for rigid point sets is suggested. As a necessary condition of optimality, the principle of the conjoint centroid is proved: to achieve a best approximation, certain co‐sets must conjoin their centroids. The practical use of the centroid principle, and how it opens up a non‐classical method of modelling various aspects of orientational disorder in crystals, is demonstrated. The principle is applied to the interpretation of density data, to the prediction of high‐pressure conformations through qualitative simulations, and to the prediction and computation of disordered sets of possible reorientation pathways which explain the shape of the electron‐density distribution reconstructed from diffraction experiments. It is also demonstrated how an inversion of the centroid principle can be used to model forces between the parts of the disordered structures.  相似文献

在分析各项影响因素分级标准的基础上,建立了三维土工网护坡侵蚀稳定性的综合评价体系.针对三维土工网边坡侵蚀稳定性分析中不确定性问题,将云模型理论引入到综合评判中,实现了定性与定量的不确定性转换.通过构建前件云发生器和后件云发生器,利用不确定推理,确定各项评价指标的具体分值.借助层次分析法与敏感度分析确定各项评价指标的权重,进而得出综合评价体系的整体得分.工程实例计算结果证实了模型的实用性和有效性,为三维土工网防护边坡侵蚀稳定性的评价提供了一条新的途径.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the motion of a homogeneous heavy ball rolling without slipping on the surface of a rotating cylinder in two settings: a setting without dissipation and a setting with rolling friction torque which is proportional to the angular velocity of the ball. In both cases we assume that there exists a non-holonomic constraint that corresponds to the condition that there be no slipping at the point of contact. In the first case, the system of five differential equations on the level set of first integrals is reduced to quadratures. To define possible types of motion, we carry out a bifurcation analysis of the reduced system. In the case with friction we show that all trajectories shift on average downward and the ball falls.  相似文献
