Preparation of Phosphoric-Carboxylic Cation Exchangers from Wood Cellulose

Phosphorus-containing cellulose cation exchangers were synthesized by reaction of wood cellulose with orthophosphoric acid and the ternary polymer from glycidylmethacrylate, styrene, and maleic anhydride. The effects of the ratio of reactants, temperature, and duration of the reaction on the phosphorylation and exchange capacity of the modified cellulose material were studied.     

Intramolecular electrophilic rearrangements in saturated acyclic systems. Reactivity of the zwitterion derived from triisopropylphosphine and ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate with respect to different types of electrophiles

The reactions of the zwitterion derived from triisopropylphosphine and ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate with mercuric chloride and aryl isothiocyanates containing Cl atoms in the ortho positions of the benzene ring follow an unusual pathway because this zwitterion represents latent triisopropylphosphine due to the reversibility of the reaction of triisopropylphosphine with ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate. The molecular structures of the adducts of triisopropylphosphine with 2,6-dichloro- and 2,4,6-trichlorophenyl isothiocyanates were confirmed by X-ray diffraction study. Protonation of the adduct of triisopropylphosphine with 2,6-dichlorophenyl isothiocyanate occurred at the nitrogen atom, whereas methylation with methyl trifluoromethanesulfonate afforded an S-methylation product. The results of X-ray diffraction study of the resulting compounds are presented.     

Reaction of dibenzylphosphine oxide with α,β-unsaturated O-methyloximes

The reaction of dibenzylphosphine oxide with O-methyloximes of some ,-unsaturated ketones results in the phosphorylation at the -carbon atom to form methoxyiminophosphine oxides, whereas the reaction of dibenzylphosphine oxide with O-methyloximes of ,-unsaturated aldehydes affords aminodihydrophosphole oxides.     

Effect of p-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene Fitted with Phosphinoyl Pendant Arms as Synergistic Agent in the Solvent Extraction and Separation of Some Trivalent Lanthanoids with 4-Benzoyl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone

The synergistic solvent extraction of five selected lanthanoid ions (La³⁺, Nd³⁺, Eu³⁺, Ho³⁺ and Lu³⁺) with a 4-benzoyl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone(HP) and the 5,11,17,23-tert-butyl-25,26,27,28-tetrakis(dimethylphosphinoylmethoxy)calix[4]arene, (S) in CHCl₃ has been studied. It was found that in presence of this phosphorus-containing calix[4]arene the lanthanoids have been extracted as LnP₃ · S. On the basis of the experimental data, the values of the equilibrium constants have been calculated. The influence of the synergistic agent on the extraction process has been discussed. A synergistic effect of almost three orders of magnitude occurs in the extraction of Ln(III) with mixture of HP and S. The values of the separation factors (S.F.) between the adjacent elements have been evaluated. On the basis of the IR and NMR spectra the stoichiometry and the structure of the solid complexes of Eu(III) with HP and Eu(III) with HP and S were proposed.     

Synthesis and properties of aromatic poly(ester amide)s with pendant phosphorus groups

Two series of phosphorus‐containing aromatic poly(ester amide)s with inherent viscosities of 0.46–3.20 dL/g were prepared by low‐temperature solution polycondensation from 1,4‐bis(3‐aminobenzoyloxy)‐2‐(6‐oxido‐6H‐dibenz〈c,e〉〈1,2〉oxaphosphorin‐6‐yl)naphthalene and 1,4‐bis(4‐aminobenzoyloxy)‐2‐(6‐oxido‐6H‐dibenz〈c,e〉〈1,2〉oxaphosphorin‐6‐yl)naphthalene with various aromatic diacid chlorides. All the poly(ester amide)s were amorphous and readily soluble in many organic solvents, such as N,N‐dimethylformamide, N,N‐dimethylacetamide (DMAc), and N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (NMP). Transparent, tough, and flexible films of these polymers were cast from DMAc and NMP solutions. Their casting films had tensile strengths of 71–214 MPa, elongations to break of 5–10%, and initial moduli of 2.3–6.0 GPa. These poly(ester amide)s had glass‐transition temperatures of 209–239 °C (m‐series) and 222–267 °C (p‐series). The degradation temperatures at 10% weight loss in nitrogen for these polymers ranged from 462 to 489 °C, and the char yields at 800 °C were 55–63%. Most of the poly(ester amide)s also showed a high char yield of 35–45%, even at 800 °C under a flow of air. C→N Migrations of the ethoxycarbonyl group in reactions of ortho-substituted aryl isocyanates with the 1,3-zwitterion derived from triisopropylphosphine and ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate

The reactions of meta—para-substituted aryl isocyanates with phosphorus-containing 1,3-zwitterions, which proceed with the CN migration of the CO₂Et group to form the corresponding carbamates, were extended to ortho-substituted aryl isocyanates. The influence of the steric and electronic effects of the ortho substituents in the aromatic rings of aryl isocyanates on the ease of this rearrangement is qualitatively considered.     

光固化阻燃单体、树脂合成及其阻燃机理研究

本文综述了过去十余年间中国科技大学施文芳教授研究组在光固化阻燃技术领域的工作成果，主要包括活性单体、稀释剂、光固化树脂配方等体系，品类有磷酸酯类单体、含磷丙烯酸酯、超支化丙烯酸酯树脂、膦酸酯类单体和树脂、丙烯酸化环状磷腈、甲基丙烯酸化三聚氰胺、含磷环氧单体等十余种。同时介绍了这些配方体系的合成、性能和应用方法，以及对其热降解、阻燃性能评价和阻燃机理的研究。     

Atropisomerism of phosphorus-containing N-aryl carbamates. Experimental and computational data

Studies by ¹H NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis revealed hindered rotation of the aromatic substituent about the C_Ar—N bond in ortho-substituted (except for o-fluorine-substituted) phosphorus-containing carbamates. The energy barriers to rotation (G _c ) and coalescence temperatures (T _c) determined by the coalescence method increase with increasing volume of the ortho substituent. Conformations resulting from rotation of the ortho-substituted aryl group about the C_Ar—N bond were analyzed by quantum-chemical methods, potential curves were constructed, and differences between the conformational energies and the heights of rotation barriers were estimated. The theoretical rotation barriers change in parallel with the experimental values of G _c ; however, the theoretical values are much smaller in magnitude.
