鹿科动物的骨质疏松症是近几年出现的一种疾病,它影响鹿的生长发育和繁殖,病重者死亡。我们采集梅花鹿和白唇鹿的毛,血样,用低温灰化方法和温法消解处理样品,用ICP分析了毛,血清中微量元素的含量。病梅花鹿毛样中Mg,Al,Ca,Ti,Fe,Cu,Zn的含量比正常组高,Ti,Cu,Zn的偏差率大于15%,而Si,Mn,P,P,Ag,Ba,La,Ce,Pb比正常组低,V,Ag,Ba,La,Ce,Pb存在...  相似文献

In Asia, Amomum tsao-ko has long been used as a spice or seasoning in food to stimulate digestion. In the present study, we evaluated the effects of ethanol extract of Amomum tsao-ko (EEAT) on menopausal osteoporosis and obesity. After the administration of EEAT in ovariectomy (OVX) mice models for five weeks, microcomputed tomography and a histological analysis were performed to assess, respectively, the trabecular structure and the fat accumulation in adipose, liver, and bone tissues. We also examined the effects of EEAT on a bone marrow macrophage model of osteoclastogenesis by in vitro stimulation from the receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappa Β ligand (RANKL) through real-time PCR and Western blot analysis. In addition, ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC–MS/MS) with authentic standards was applied to characterize the phytochemical profiling of EEAT. We found that EEAT significantly decreased OVX-induced body weight gain and fat accumulation, significantly prevented OVX-induced deterioration of bone mineral density and microstructure of trabecular tissues, and significantly inhibited osteoclast differentiation by downregulating NF-κB/Fos/NFATc1 signaling in osteoclasts. Furthermore, UHPLC–MS/MS identified eight beneficial phytochemicals in EEAT. Collectively, these results suggest that EEAT might be an effective nutraceutical candidate to attenuate menopausal osteoporosis by inhibiting osteoclastogenesis and to prevent obesity by suppressing fat accumulation.  相似文献

老年髋部骨折患者血清中宏量及微量元素含量分析   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
为探讨微量元素与骨质疏松症及髋部骨折的关系,采用原子吸收分光光度计等方法分别测定了40例老年髋部骨折患者血清中微量元素铜(Cu)、锌(Zn)、硒(Se)、铁(Fe)、锰(Mn)及宏量元素钙(Ca)、磷(P)、镁(Mg)、钾(K)、钠(Na)的含量,并与30例青壮年髋部骨折患者对照。结果表明,老年髋部骨折患者血清中的Ca含量明显升高(P<0.01)、Cu、Mn有显著提高(P<0.05),其它元素有升高趋势,但无显著性差异,Zn的含量明显降低(P<0.01)。测定血清中宏量及微量元素含量可能对预测髋部骨折及骨质疏松症的疗效评价有一定临床价值。  相似文献

Fritillariae thunbergii bulbus has been widely used to treat symptoms of coughs and airway congestion in the chest due to pathological colds and damp phlegm in traditional Chinese medicine. Despite its long history of traditional use, its pharmacological activities on osteoclastogenesis and osteoporosis have not been evaluated. This study investigated the effects of the water extract of Fritillariae thunbergii bulbus (WEFT) on osteoclast differentiation in bone marrow-derived macrophage cells and on ovariectomy (OVX)-induced osteoporosis in mice. We found that WEFT significantly inhibited osteoclastogenesis by downregulating the receptor activator of the NF-κB ligand (RANKL) signaling-induced nuclear factor of activated T-cells cytoplasmic 1 (NFATc1) expression. In an OVX-induced osteoporosis model, WEFT significantly prevented the OVX-induced trabecular loss of femurs, accompanied by a reduction in fat accumulation in the bone marrow and liver. In addition, WEFT significantly prevented weight gain and gonadal fat gain without recovering uterine atrophy. Using ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, seven alkaloids (peimisine glucoside, yibeissine, peiminoside, sipeimine-glucoside, peimisine, peimine, and peiminine) were identified in WEFT. The results of this study suggest that WEFT can be a potential pharmacological candidate to reduce menopausal osteoporosis and menopause-related symptoms, such as fat accumulation.  相似文献

Vitamin A is a fat-soluble micronutrient essential for growth, immunity, and good vision. The preformed retinol is commonly found in food of animal origin whereas provitamin A is derived from food of plant origin. This review summarises the current evidence from animal, human and cell-culture studies on the effects of vitamin A towards bone health. Animal studies showed that the negative effects of retinol on the skeleton were observed at higher concentrations, especially on the cortical bone. In humans, the direct relationship between vitamin A and poor bone health was more pronounced in individuals with obesity or vitamin D deficiency. Mechanistically, vitamin A differentially influenced the stages of osteogenesis by enhancing early osteoblastic differentiation and inhibiting bone mineralisation via retinoic acid receptor (RAR) signalling and modulation of osteocyte/osteoblast-related bone peptides. However, adequate vitamin A intake through food or supplements was shown to maintain healthy bones. Meanwhile, provitamin A (carotene and β-cryptoxanthin) may also protect bone. In vitro evidence showed that carotene and β-cryptoxanthin may serve as precursors for retinoids, specifically all-trans-retinoic acid, which serve as ligand for RARs to promote osteogenesis and suppressed nuclear factor-kappa B activation to inhibit the differentiation and maturation of osteoclasts. In conclusion, we suggest that both vitamin A and provitamin A may be potential bone-protecting agents, and more studies are warranted to support this hypothesis.  相似文献

In this study, ultrasonic backscattering signals in cancellous bones were obtained by finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulations, and the effect of trabecular material properties on these signals was analyzed. The backscatter coefficient (BSC) and integrated backscatter coefficient (IBC) were numerically investigated for varying trabecular bone material properties, including density, Lame coefficients, viscosities, and resistance coefficients. The results show that the BSC is a complex function of trabecular bone density, and the IBC increases as density increases. The BSC and IBC increase with the first and second Lame coefficients. While not very sensitive to the second viscosity of the trabeculae, the BSC and IBC decrease as the first viscosity and resistance coefficients increase. The results demonstrate that, in addition to bone mineral density (BMD) and microarchitecture, trabecular material properties significantly influence ultrasonic backseattering signals in cancellous bones. This research furthers the understanding of ultrasonic backscattering in cancellous bones and the characterization of cancellous bone status.  相似文献

为研究大豆异黄酮(SI)对骨质疏松模型大鼠骨量及微观结构的影响,将46只雌性SD大鼠双侧摘除卵巢,术后一周按血清总胆固醇水平随机分为5组,分别给予雌激素,低、中、高剂量SI干预并设正常对照组,实验周期为12周,灌胃给药,每周称质量一次,分别在去卵巢、给药4、8周处死时抽取尾静脉血,实验结束后分别测定血清碱性磷酸酶(AKP)活性及骨密度等指标。结果表明,高剂量SI干预对维持大鼠骨密度的作用与雌激素相似,去卵巢后干预SI可提高碱性磷酸酶(AKP)活性并能缓解因去卵巢造成的骨丢失,全视野下骨形态学以雌激素组、高剂量SI干预组与正常组结构最为接近。提示大豆异黄酮对骨质疏松模型大鼠的骨量及微观结构存在一定影响,中、高剂量干预可使骨质疏松模型大鼠血清AKP酶活性增加、逆转因去势造成的骨密度下降,考虑到植物雌激素与哺乳动物的雌激素受体(ER)结合能力低下,采用SI在临床开展干预的剂量与远期效果尚待进一步论证。  相似文献

The osteoporosis is regarded as a widespread disease all over the world. In the prevention therapy of this disease there is a primary role of the daily calcium intake with the proper Ca:P ratio (1:1–1:2). The primary source of Ca for people the dairy products are implied, from which only the processed cheeses have inadequate ratio of Ca:P. In cheeses processed without peptization developed in the Hungarian Dairy Research Institute (HDRI) the Ca:P ratio meets the requirements (1.5:1), moreover these products can be enriched with Ca. In this study we used both processing technologies. The electronmicroscopic photographs demonstrate the differences clearly. The traditionally processed cheese (with peptization) has a 'spongy’ structure well known from literature, while a space-net can be seen resulting from the casein-filamentous hydrocolloid interaction in the structure of heat-treated cheese without peptization. DSC curves are the same in the temperature range 0–40°C, showing endotherm melting process in two well-distinguished temperature interval (0–20 and 22–40°C). They are different in the temperature interval 40–100°C: in the case of processed cheese with peptization the gel-sol transformation gives a higher endotherm peak in a narrow temperature range, while for heat-treated cheese without peptization this temperature range is wider with a lower endotherm peak. Both electronmicroscopic and DSC investigations have proved that contrary to the traditionally processed cheese where the structure is formed by the linked peptized protein, in the heat- processed cheese without peptization the frame-forming element is the huge hydrocolloid molecule interacted with the protein. The relationship between the structure of bovine cancellous bone, and its ultrasonic propagation parameters is investigated by means of a novel technique involving the application of large static loads, thereby changing the porosity in a controlled manner. The results show that for frequencies in the range 0.4 to 1 MHz, porosity decreases up to 35% are associated with a reduction in attenuation of up to 500%, whereas the velocity increases by roughly 35% for the same changes. The data taken overall suggest that in determining the ultrasonic attenuation coefficient at these frequencies, the amount of material in a given bone section is significantly less important than the distribution of that material.  相似文献
