Benzylation and Allylation of Naphthols Using Amberlyst-15

A simple and efficient method has been developed for benzylation and allylation of naphthols by treatment of the compounds with benzylic and allylic alcohols, respectively, in the presence of amberlyst-15. Several heterogeneous catalysts were screened for the reaction, and amberlyst-15 was found to be most effective.     

One-Pot,Three-Component Coupling Reaction: Catalyst-Free Green Synthesis of Novel N-Heteroaryl α-Naphthylglycines

A series of novel N-heteroaryl α-arylglycines containing naphthol rings has been prepared by one-pot, three-component condensation reaction of glyoxalic acid, heteroaryl amines and naphthols in water at ambient temperature and under reflux conditions in moderate to high yields. The promising advantages such as removal of organic solvent, no need to catalyst, simplicity of the reaction procedure and easy product separation will be discussed in this article.     

Brønsted Acidic Ionic Liquids as Efficient Catalysts for the Synthesis of Amidoalkyl Naphthols

A simple, clean, and environmentally benign three-component process for the synthesis of amidoalkyl naphthols using Brønsted acidic ionic liquids as efficient catalysts in solution and under solvent-free conditions is described.     

Synthesis and complexation of a ‘mixed’-pyridine-naphthalene homooxacalixarene

A deep-cavity ‘mixed’ octahomotetraoxacalix[2]naphthalene[2]pyridine macrocycle has been synthesised and its single-crystal X-ray structure has been determined. Molecular modeling studies suggested that this macrocycle could be an effective host for guest aromatic diol(s) similar to Wang's methylazacalixpyridines. Binding constants were determined using ¹H NMR chemical shifts changes and comparisons were made between the diols which were tested.     

设计性化学实验教学的探索与实践*——以“分子络合-分散液相微萃取/高效液相色谱法测定环境水中萘酚”为例

结合科研课题及实验教学经验,设计了题为“分子络合-分散液相微萃取/高效液相色谱法测定环境水中萘酚”的综合化学实验教学项目。该实验从复杂样品的前处理技术出发,建立分子络合-分散液相微萃取技术并用于水中萘酚的分析,实验优化了影响萃取效果的因素,确定了合适的萃取装置、操作模式及HPLC分析条件等内容。本实验设计结合了新颖的科研内容,能引起学生主动参与实验设计并自主探索未知的兴趣,有利于提高学生的创新能力和综合素养。     

Brønsted acidic ionic liquid as an efficient and reusable catalyst for one-pot synthesis of 1-amidoalkyl 2-naphthols under solvent-free conditions

A mild and efficient method has been developed for the preparation of amidoalkyl naphthols from condensation of aldehydes with amides or urea and 2-naphthol in the presence of a catalytic amount of Brønsted acidic ionic liquid ([TEBSA][HSO₄]) under thermal solvent-free conditions. High yields, short reaction time, easy work-up and reusability of the catalyst are advantages of this procedure.     

酸性功能化离子液体催化“一锅法”合成酰胺烷基萘酚

用磺酸型离子液体1-甲基-3-磺酸丙基咪唑硫酸氢盐([MIMPS][HSO₄])催化β-萘酚、芳香醛和酰胺（或脲）3组分“一锅法” 类Ritter反应合成了酰胺烷基萘酚。 投料比为n(β-萘酚)∶n(芳香醛)∶n(酰胺或脲)∶n([MIMPS][HSO₄])=1∶1∶1.3∶0.1,无需溶剂,恒温125 ℃反应5～40 min,通过简单水洗抽滤即可分离产物,酰胺烷基萘酚产率为85%～97%。 离子液体[MIMPS][HSO₄]可回收重复使用4次,其催化活性无明显降低。 探讨了醛、酰胺或脲结构对反应的影响及可能的反应机理。     

l-Hexanesulphonic acid sodium salt promoted the one-pot synthesis of amidoalkyl naphthols under microwave-irradiation

Amidoalkyl naphthols have been synthesized in high yields in the presence of 1-hexanesulphonic acid sodium salt as an inexpensive solid catalyst under solvent-free conditions and microwave-irradiation.This catalyst provides clean conversion;greater selectivity and easy workup make this protocol practical and economically attractive.
