光卤石在芒硝溶液中的溶解和转化

研究了光卤石在芒硝溶液中溶解及转化的机理，用离子浓度随时间的变化拟合得到动力学方程，并求得溶解反应的表观活化能。     

芒硝太阳池的研究

对芒硝太阳池梯度区浓度分布、温度分布，能量利用进行了研究，与实验对比，两得相吻合。     

Evaluation of the influence of mirabilite on the absorption and pharmacokinetics of the ingredients in Dahuang‐mudan decoction by a validated UPLC/QTOF–MS/MS method

Dahuang‐mudan decoction (DMD) has been widely used for disease treatment in China for 1700 years. The formula consists of Rhubarb, moutan bark, Prunus persica, wax gourd kernel and mirabilite, which have been well studied by multidisciplinary approaches. However, the role of the mineral mirabilite in DMD is unclear. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of mirabilite on the absorption and pharmacokinetics of the ingredients in DMD. The constituents were identified in DMD extract and the plasma of mirabilite–DMD (MDMD, 50 g kg^?1) treated rats and nonmirabilite–DMD (NMDMD, 50 g kg^?1) treated rats. The plasma was also used to investigate the effects of mirabilite on the pharmacokinetics of active ingredients in DMD using a new validated UPLC–MS/MS method. The results showed that 63 compounds were identified in the extract of DMD, 27 and 22 of which were found in the plasmas of MDMD‐ and NMDMD‐treated rats, respectively. Furthermore, the results of a pharmacokinetic study suggested that mirabilite influenced the absorption of the five constituents by decreasing the absorption of emodin and rhein while increasing the absorption of aloe‐emodin, paeoniflorin and amygdalin; the pharmacokinetic parameters, including the T_max, C_max, AUC_0–t, MRT_0–t, CLz and t_1/2 of five constituents, significantly changed in MDMD‐treated rats compared with the NMDMD. The method validation for selectivity, precision, accuracy, matrix effect, recovery and stability met the acceptance criteria. These findings uncover the roles of mirabilite in DMD and demonstrate the application of scientific principles to the study of DMD in human health care.     

Raman spectra of mirabilite,Na2SO4·10H2O and the rediscovered metastable heptahydrate,Na2SO4·7H2O

Salt crystallisation in pores is known to cause serious damage to masonry. Sodium sulphate, often regarded as one of the most damaging salts, has a rich hydrate chemistry including one rediscovered metastable hydrate and a new high pressure octahydrate plus five known polymorphs of the anhydrous phase. The difficulty in working with these hydrates lies in their strong tendency to dehydrate or to convert to the stable phase, in the case of the heptahydrate. We present Raman spectra and a table of peak wavenumbers for randomly oriented crystals of mirabilite and the metastable heptahydrate, sufficient to distinguish between these phases that have SO₄ν₁ values of 989.3 and 987.6 cm⁻¹, respectively. Mirabilite has a Raman spectrum very similar to the free sulphate anion in solution, which is probably due to the mobility of oxygen atoms within the sulphate tetrahedron. The oxygen atoms in the heptahydrate sulphate groups have no partial occupancy, and predicted peak splitting is observed in the region 400–1200 cm⁻¹. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
