The nature of the propagation center in the cationic polymerization of N-benzoyl-8-octanelactam initiated by octanoylium hexachlcroantimonate, SbCl5, and Ph3CAsF6 in perdeuterated tetrachloroethane or its mixture with o-dichlorobenzene was studied using 1H, 13C, 19F, 31P, 75As, and 121Sb nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) of model oligomers and the products of their end-capping with triphenylphosphine. In all cases, the nature of the propagation center has been found to be of an acylium ion pair with an SbCl6? or AsF6? counterion coordinated with the nearest benzoylamide group and cosolvated by the solvent. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Imines derived from 4-oxoazetidine-2-carbaldehydes have been found to be versatile Diels-Alder reagents in that they exhibit two reactivity patterns. 2-Azetidinone-tethered imines undergo diastereoselective reaction with Danishefsky's diene in the presence of different Lewis acids. The effect of the amount of catalyst on the conversion rate as well as on the product ratio has been studied. Under standard reaction conditions, indium(III) chloride and zinc(II) iodide provided the best yields, and indium(III) triflate the highest diastereoselectivity in the Lewis acid promoted aza-Diels-Alder cycloaddition. Treatment of the aforementioned imines with cyclopentadiene, 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene or 3,4-dihydro-2 H-pyran led to cycloadducts arising from inverse electron-demand condensation involving the beta-lactam-tethered aryl imine as the heterodiene component. In addition, the first methodology for preparing indolizidines from beta-lactams has been developed. This process involves amide bond cleavage of the beta-lactam ring in the aza-Diels-Alder cycloadducts with concomitant cyclization. Full chirality transfer occurs when the reaction is performed with an enantiomerically pure substrate.  相似文献

The total synthesis of the polyenoyltetramic acid polycephalin C is described. Key steps of the synthesis include a double Swern oxidation, double Takai reaction and a double Stille reaction. In addition, the absolute stereochemistry of the ring junction has been determined by synthesis of both isomers and comparison of their CD spectra with natural polycephalin C.  相似文献

A quantum chemical study of several complex monocyclic 4‐benzoyl‐4‐phenyl‐β‐lactam derivatives was carried out using cyclobutane, azetidine, 2‐azetidinone, 1‐methyl‐2‐azetidinone, and 3‐methyl‐2‐azetidinone as model compounds. The optimum geometry was obtained for the different conformations. The planarity of the ring was discussed in terms of the influence of the substituents on the amide resonance. To better analyze the amide resonance and the activity of the β‐lactam ring, a vibrational study was also carried out. To examine the influence of solvent polarity on the carbonyl bands, the Fourier transform–infrared (FT‐IR) spectra of the β‐lactam monocyclic derivatives were recorded in CCl4, C6H6, and CHCl3 solutions. The normal vibrations of the β‐lactam ring in the model compounds were characterized and used in the analysis of the β‐ring of more complex derivatives. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Unimolecular fragmentation patterns of the molecular ions of selected lactams and sultams bearing alkoxymethyl group at the nitrogen atom were studied. The main common fragmentation reaction observed for all compounds studied in this work is the elimination of an aldehyde molecule. This reaction is considered to proceed via two different mechanisms. For lactams, hydrogen rearrangement within an alkoxymethyl group is observed, which leads to the appropriate N-methyl derivatives. For sultams, transfer of the methyl group to the nitrogen and oxygen atoms, proceeding through an ion-neutral complex, dominates. Another important fragmentation channel characteristic exclusively for lactams is the loss of an alkyl radical. This process takes place within the N-alkoxymethyl moiety, yielding the appropriate protonated ion of N-formyllactams. This process is accompanied by relatively high kinetic energy release.  相似文献

The synthesis of copolymers constituted of a central polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) block flanked by two polyamide (PA) sequences is described. α, ω-diacyllactam PDMS, when used as macroinitiator of lactam polymerization, gives rise to the expected triblock copolymer. Likewise, PDMS-g-PA graft copolymers are obtained from acyllactam containing polysiloxanes. NaAlH2(OCH2CH2OMe)2 turns out to be the best suited activating agent for the polymerization of ?-caprolactam, in the experimental conditions required for the synthesis of polysiloxane–polyamide copolymers. The nucleophilic species formed by reaction of NaAlH2(OCH2CH2OMe)2 with ?-caprolactam—2-[bis(methoxyethoxy) aluminumoxy]-1-azacycloheptane sodium—is indeed nucleophilic enough to bring about the growth of PA chains and mild enough to stay inert towards PDMS. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Abstract

Lactams add to Danishefsky's diene 1 yielding N-alkenyl substituted lactams 3-5. The reaction occurs only under pressure (100-300MPa) and, preferentially, in the presence of a mild Lewis acid catalyst such as bismuth chloride or ytterbium triflate. The reactions are fully regioselective and afford linear trans multifunctional 1:1 adducts.  相似文献
