A series of previously unknown unsymmetrical difluoroaromatic compounds, viz., p-fluorobenzoylphenyl(p-fluorophenyl)-substituted imidazoles, pyrazines, and quinoxalines, were synthesized according to multistep procedures with the use of chloral as the key compound. The reactivities of the resulting difluoroaromatic compounds were estimated based on 19F and 13C NMR spectral data and the results of quantum-chemical calculations. The calculated charge densities on the Cipso atoms correlate linearly with the experimental chemical shifts in the 19F and 13C NMR spectra. Difluoroaromatic compounds, which are characterized by F > –110 and C > 163 and by the charge density on the Cipso atom higher than 0.08 e, are sufficiently activated to be used for the preparation of high-molecular-weight polyethers. 相似文献

Bis (p-fluorophenylethynyl) derivatives were obtained by the reaction of bisbromoaromatic compounds withp-fluorophenylacetylene in the presence of a Pd catalyst. Subsequent oxidation of these products using an I2-DMSO system led to new bis(p-fluorophenylglyoxaly)ketones, α-diketones, and heterocyclic compounds.

Phosphorus pentoxide supported on silica gel (P2O5/SiO2) has been used as an efficient and reusable catalyst for the one‐pot pseudo four‐component synthesis of 2,4,5‐trisubstituted imidazoles from benzil or benzoin, aldehydes, and ammonium acetate. It was also used for four‐component preparation of 1,2,4,5‐tetrasubstituted imidazoles from benzil or benzoin, aldehydes, primary amine, and ammonium acetate under thermal solvent‐free conditions. The remarkable features of this new procedure are high conversions, cleaner reaction, simple experimental and work‐up procedures and also the catalyst can be easily separated from the reaction mixture and reused several times without any loss of its activity. 相似文献

A novel and tandem synthesis of highly functionalized tetrahydroindeno[1,2‐d]imidazole is described. A one‐pot reaction between a primary amine, an aryl isothiocyanate, and ninhydrin leads to highly substituted indeno[1,2‐d]imidazoles under solvent‐free conditions in excellent yields (Scheme). A simple highly versatile and efficient synthesis of 2,4,5-trisubstituted imidazoles is achieved by three-component cyclocondensation of 1,2-dicarbonyl compound, aldehyde and ammonium acetate using l-proline as a catalyst in methanol at moderate temperature. To explore the utility of this method 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted imidazoles were also synthesized. An efficient four-component synthesis of 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted imidazoles is described by one-step condensation of an aldehyde, benzil, ammonium acetate, and primary aromatic amine with nanostructure Fe-Cu/ZSM-5 bimetallic oxides in water under ultrasonic irradiation. The short reaction time, good yields, environmental friendly procedure, mild reaction conditions, and convenient operation are important advantage of this protocol. The products generated during the study have been utilized as substrates for synthesis of organosilicon-containing imidazoles.
