水反常热膨胀特性的简易实验

通过改变带细玻璃管的烧瓶中水的温度导致水位变化来粗略演示水的收缩情况.为较准确测定水最大密度时的温度,将2个温度计放在水下较浅处和较深处,分别测量当温度经由4℃升高时和由4℃降低时两温度计的示数,进而验证水的反常热膨胀特性.     

A quark model based on QCD scale anomaly

We consider a quark model based on QCD scale anomaly in which the quarks move in the field of an effective glueball field. Hadrons correspond to solitonic bags of higher energy density in a nonperturbative sea of condensed gluons. We calculate the static properties of nucleon in this model and find that the nucleon mass is far too large (2.4–4 GeV) and the proton charge radius (0.37–0.54 fm) is low. The proton gyromagnetic ratio and g_A/g_v are in reasonable agreement with the experimental numbers.     

The Geometric Construction of WZW Effective Action in Noncommutative Manifold

By constructing close-one-cochain density Ω^12n in the gauge group space we get the Wess-Zumino-Witten (WZW) effective Lagrangian on high-dimensional noncommutative space.Especially consistent anomalies derived from this WZW effective action in noncommutative four-dimensional space coincide with those obtained by L.Bonora etc.(het-th/0002210).     

Trace Extensions,Determinant Bundles,and Gauge Group Cocycles

We study the geometry of determinant line bundles associated with Dirac operators on compact odd-dimensional manifolds. Physically, these arise as (local) vacuum line bundles in quantum gauge theory. We give a simplified derivation of the commutator anomaly formula using a construction based on noncyclic trace extensions and associated nonmultiplicative renormalized determinants.     

Ψ(2S)粒子及粲夸克偶素物理实验研究——2001年度国家自然科学奖获奖项目介绍

文章介绍2001年度国家自然科学奖二等奖获奖成果，在北京正负电子对撞机上采集了Ψ（2S）粒子大数据样本，开展了粲偶素物理的广泛研究：完成了6个粲偶素涉及质量，宽度和衰变化支比等大批重要参数的首次测量或高精度测量；通过对Ψ（2S）和J／Ψ强衰变性质的比较研究，观察到一系列反常现象，挑战现有理论图像。该项研究成果对量子色动力学的检验与发展具有重要意义，为我国粲偶素物理实验研究的继续发展并保持先进水平奠定坚实基础。     

Time variation of the electromagnetic transfer function of the earth estimated by using wavelet transform

In order to accurately estimate the geomagnetic transfer functions in the area of the volcano Mt. Iwate (IWT), we applied the interstation transfer function (ISTF) method to the three-component geomagnetic field data observed at Mt. Iwate station (IWT), using the Kakioka Magnetic Observatory, JMA (KAK) as remote reference station. Instead of the conventional Fourier transform, in which temporary transient noises badly degrade the accuracy of long term properties, continuous wavelet transform has been used. The accuracy of the results was as high as that of robust estimations of transfer functions obtained by the Fourier transform method. This would provide us with possibilities for routinely monitoring the transfer functions, without sophisticated statistical procedures, to detect changes in the underground electrical conductivity structure.     

Petrographic/geochemical studies of primary and alteration–weathering minerals in garnetiferous ultramafic xenoliths–basanite, Tartous Province, NW Syria

Kimberlitic–pyropic peridotite–xenolites, probably of Jurassic–Cretaceous age, were found mixed with a younger Upper Tertiary basanitic diabase, as flow texture of plagioclase laths and ilmenite rods around those xenoliths indicated. Mafic–ultramafic rocks were crushed, sheared, and cropped along a creek about 15–18 km NE of the town of Dreikeesh, NW Syria. ⁴⁰K–⁴⁰Ar isotopic dating of a pure fresh black cpx sample, collected from the peridotite xenoliths, yielded an age of about 70 Ma. This age is concurrent to the time when Africa, Eurasia, and America were part of the super continent Pangaea. It also suggests that kimberlite–pyropic peridotitic rocks were located within a cratonic pipe prior to their 2000-km eastward journey (starting from the Mid-Atlantic Rift). Sampled outcrops were located within a ring of about 40 km diameter, considered to be a dome consisting of one or more clusters of kimberlitic pipes. The dome structure, mostly covered with Upper Jurassic–Cretaceous carbonate beds, was tilted westward, and rifted and sheared along its eastern edge. Tilting and crushing were accomplished after the opening of the Red Sea in the Miocene, and the counterclockwise movements of the Arabian plate, which folded the carbonate beds to form the N–S-trending Alawite mountain range along the Syrian coast. Olivine, cpx, and pyrope were the major phases in peridotite. Pyrope, including its Cr–Ni-contents, was found to be the best indicator to decipher the temperature–pressure (T–P) conditions for the system. The inferred temperature was found to be about 1460 °C, at a pressure of 62 kb (around 207 km-depth). Petrographic studies revealed many zoned, resorbed, octahedral and non-metasomatized tiny grains, associated with partly to wholly metasomatized and iddingsitized olivines.     

鲁米诺-双氧水-铬(Ⅲ)化学发光体系测定化探样品中痕量砷

用鲁米诺－双氧水－铬（Ⅲ）化学发光体系结合巯基棉对Ａｓ（Ⅲ）的富集分离，建立了快速的测定化探样品中痕量砷的新方法，检测线性范围为１．０×１０－４～１．０×１０１ｍｇ／Ｌ，检出限为３．４×１０－５ｍｇ／Ｌ。用于实际化探样品测定，相对标准偏差为５．５％～９．０％。     

云南几次中强地震热红外异常特征对比研究

云南省位于多个地块交界处，构造活动活跃且地震活动频发。利用中国静止气象卫星风云二号系列相当黑体温度TBB数据，应用小波变换和相对傅氏功率谱的时频相对功率谱方法（T-F RPS），提取并分析了云南省2008年至今发生的5.5级以上地震热红外异常信息，且对比分析了特征周期、特征幅值、异常形态、异常演化过程等参数。结果表明：（1）该系列地震热红外异常信息易于用时频相对功率谱方法（T-F RPS）提取识别，且异常特征具有"出现-扩大-减小-消失"的规律；（2）异常特征周期和持续时间也具有一定的规律性；（3）异常沿着断层延展，震中位于异常边缘一侧或者异常区域交汇地带，发震时刻多位于相对功率谱幅值下降阶段；（4）震级与相对功率谱峰值有一定的相关性，震级高，峰值也较高；（5）地震类型与异常面积有一定的相关性，双震型地震异常面积较大。此外，讨论了地震热红外异常与构造活动、气候状况、天气情况和季节等因素的关系。
