[1] Palladium(II), Platinum(II), Ruthenium(II), Rhodium(III), and Iridium(III) Complexes of Desoxyfructosazine The reactions of the pyrazine derivative desoxyfructosazin(pz) with K₂PtCl₄ and with the chlorobridged [M(PR₃)Cl₂]₂ (M = Pd, Pt), [(η⁵-C₅Me₅)MCl₂]₂ and [(η⁶-p-Cymol)RuCl₂]₂ give the watersoluble complexes cis-Cl₂Pt(pz)₂, (R₃P)(Cl)M(pz)M(Cl)(PR₃) (M = Pd, Pt), (η⁵-C₅Me₅)(Cl)₂M(pz)M(Cl)₂(η⁵-C₅Me₅) (M = Rh, Ir), (η⁶-p-Cymol)(Cl₂)Ru(pz)Ru(Cl)₂(η⁶-p-Cymol).
