As‐cast films of poly(2,5‐benzimidazole) exhibit uniplanar orientation in which the planes of the aromatic rings lie parallel to the film surface. Upon doping with phosphoric acid, the original crystalline order is lost, but the doped film can be stretched to produce films with uniaxial orientation. After thermal annealing at 540 °C, nine Bragg reflections are resolved in the fiber diagram, and these are indexed by an orthorhombic unit cell with the dimensions a = 18.1 Å, b = 3.5 Å, and c = 11.4 Å, containing four monomer units of two chains. The absence of odd‐order 00l reflections points to a 21 chain conformation, which is probably planar so that the aromatic units can be stacked along the b axis. The water and phosphoric acid contents of the crystalline structure cannot be determined exactly because of the presence of extensive amorphous regions that probably have different solvation. The best agreement between the observed and calculated intensities is for an idealized structure containing two phosphoric acids and two water molecules per unit cell. However, the phosphoric acid is probably present mainly in the form of pyrophosphoric acid and its higher oligomers. In addition, the X‐ray data are consistent with a more disordered structure containing chains with random (up and down) polarity and a lack of c‐axis registry. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. It has been shown by the19F NMR method that the relative polarities of nitrogenelement bonds in 2-(4-fluorophenyl)benzimidazole and its PhHg and PPh3Au derivatives increase in the order N-H19F NMR. It has been found that these reactions occur by a bimolecular associative mechanism and that the N-H bond is substantially less reactive than the N-Hg and N-Au bonds, which have identical reactivities within the limits of sensitivity of the method used.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. The heterocyclic nucleus s-triazino[1,2-a]benzimidazole has been reported to exhibit antibacterial activity. In this study, seven new 3,4-dihydro[1,3,5]triazino[1,2-a]benzimidazole derivatives were prepared via cyclocondensation between 2-guanidinobenzimidazole and fluorine substituted (including trifluoromethyl) benzaldehydes. The structures of all the compounds were confirmed by 1H, 13C NMR and IR spectral data. Spectral data also suggested the existence of various tautomeric forms of the fluorine-containing s-triazino[1,2-a]benzimidazole compounds. The synthesized compounds were also screened for antibacterial and bovine dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) inhibitory activities. The compound 3g substituted with a 3′,5′-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl moiety demonstrated the best antibacterial activity in the series. None of the tested compounds significantly inhibited bovine DHFR. 相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of two new 1,3,5‐triazines containing 2‐(aminomethyl)‐1H‐benzimidazole hydrochloride as a substituent are reported, namely, 2‐{[(4,6‐dichloro‐1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)amino]methyl}‐1H‐benzimidazol‐3‐ium chloride, C11H9Cl2N6+·Cl? ( 1 ), and bis(2,2′‐{[(6‐chloro‐1,3,5‐triazine‐2,4‐diyl)bis(azanediyl)]bis(methylene)}bis(1H‐benzimidazol‐3‐ium)) tetrachloride heptahydrate, 2C19H18ClN92+·4Cl?·7H2O ( 2 ). Both salts were characterized using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis and IR spectroscopy. Moreover, the NMR (1H and 13C) spectra of 1 were obtained. Salts 1 and 2 have triclinic symmetry (space group P) and their supramolecular structures are stabilized by hydrogen bonding and offset π–π interactions. In hydrated salt 2 , the noncovalent interactions yield pseudo‐nanotubes filled with chloride anions and water molecules, which were modelled in the refinement with substitutional and positional disorder. 相似文献

A new dinuclear copper complex, [Cu(C9H11N3)Cl2]2 (C18H22Cl4Cu2N6), has been synthe- sized and characterized by X-ray structure determination. It crystallizes in the triclinic P1 space group with a = 7.526(3), b = 9.473(4), c = 9.535(3) , α = 117.214(10), β = 108.251(9), γ = 91.560(6)o, V = 562.3(4) 3, Z = 1, Mr = 591.30, F(000) = 298, Dc = 1.746 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 2.385 mm-1, the final R = 0.0577 and wR = 0.1248 for 2188 unique reflections with 1629 observed ones (I > 2σ(I)). In the title complex, each copper(II) atom is located at the center of a distorted trigonal bipyramid of five coordination atoms (two nitrogen and three chlorine atoms). Two copper(II) atoms were bridged by two chlorine anions (Cl(2) and Cl(2a)) to form a Cu(II)-Cu(II) binuclear entity with the distance between two copper(II) atoms of 3.398 . 相似文献
