Thermoanalytical techniques, being rapid and un-expensive have been used for the investigation of the cyclodextrin inclusion complexes for three decades. The conventional thermoanalytical techniques (TG and DTA/DSC) follow the thermal properties of the uncomplexed compounds. Consequently, the inclusion complex formation as well as the liberation of the entrapped guest cannot be followed. Monitoring the products of the thermal fragmentation of parent cyclodextrin and the included molecule(s), applying TG-MS combined technique provides evidence concerning the inclusion complex formation, and besides, gives selective signal to follow the decomposition of the cyclodextrin inclusion complexes. b-cyclodextrin inclusion complexes of Thymol and Lippia sidoides Cham essential oil extract have been prepared and investigated using conventional and combined (TG-MS) thermoanalytical techniques. The evolved gas analysis proved the inclusion complex formation between the host and guests. By the evaluation of the experimental results the elaboration of the entrapped guests from the cyclodextrin cavity could be followed. A novel determination method of electroinactive molecules by means of electrochemical technique is presented. A new self-assembled monolayer containing cyclodextrin(CD) is prepared with mono(6-o-p-tolylsulfonyl)-b-cyclodextrin. Although this derivatization process leads to a b-CD coverage of 10% of a full monolayer, this layer shows an effective host-guest response to ferrocene. The interfacial ferrocene complexation gives a response similar to that expected for a Langmuir adsorption isotherm yielding a stability constant of 4.2×104 mol-1@L and a maximum ferrocene coverage of 8.6′10-12 mol/cm2. The redox peak currents of the surface-confined ferrocene de-crease upon addition of competing b-CD guest species to the solution, such as m-toluic acid(mTA) and sodium dodecyl sulfonate(SDS). This principle has been used for the determination of the electroinactive molecules, mTA and SDS in the concentration ranges of 0.8-2.7 mmol/L and 5-100 nmol/L, respectively.  相似文献

Three new naphthaline-type chromophores end-capped with different (p-substituted amino) styryl groups on the both sides (named as BPASN, BHMASN and BMASN) have been synthesized. Under excitation of 380nm, strong green light-emitting locating at 517nm with the fluorescence quantum yield of 0.88 in CH2Cl2 has been obtained.In the presence of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), strong blue-emitting at 456nm in DMF was also recorded.  相似文献

Triprolidine hydrochloride (C19H22N2·HCl·H2O) (TPH) is a well-known antihistamine drug which is reported as being photosensitive. The thermal stabilities of TPH and of 1:1 molar and 1:1 mass ratio physical mixtures of TPH with β-cyclodextrin (BCD) and with glucose have been examined using DSC, TG and TG-FTIR, complemented by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and infrared spectroscopic (IR) studies. Thermal studies of the solid TPH/BCD mixtures indicated that interaction between the components occurs and it is possible that the TPH molecule may be least partially accommodated in the cavity of the BCD host molecule. XRD results support this indication of inclusion. The results of molecular modelling suggest that TPH is most likely to be accommodated in the BCD cavity as a neutral triprolidine molecule with the toluene portion of the molecule preferentially included in the cavity. The results obtained illustrate the general stability of TPH. The study has also shown TPH to be compatible with both glucose and BCD, which are potential excipients both in solid and liquid dosage forms. The presence of these excipients in dosage forms will thus not adversely affect the stability and the therapeutic efficacy of TPH. The effect of a hydrophilic polymer, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose K4M, on the complexation of diclofenac sodium with b- and hydroxypropyl-b-cyclodextrins has been studied. Multicomponent systems were prepared with the drug, both cyclodextrin and the polymer. Phase solubility diagrams revealed the positive effect of the polymer on the complexation of the drug but this effect was found after autoclaving the solutions. Solid inclusion complexes were prepared by freeze-drying and characterized by thermal analysis (DSC) and X-ray diffractometry. In solid state, binary inclusion complexes enhance the dissolution behaviour of diclofenac but, from the b-cyclodextrin multicomponent complex, the polymer controls the release of the drug. In the case of hydroxy- propyl-b-cyclodextrin multicomponent system, the solubility of the drugs increases significantly compared with the binary complex.
