通过解析推导和数值计算的方法,得到了平衡态指向矢满足的微分方程和边界条件.研究了表面弹性能K13项对磁场作用下的弱锚定向列液晶盒Fréedericksz转变性质的影响.结果表明,表面弹性能K13项的存在对液晶系统的自由能有很大的影响,从而改变转变的性质,诱导液晶盒在阈值点发生一级Fréedericksz转变.给出了发生一级转变的物理条件,它除了与液晶的结构和材料有关外,还依赖于液晶表面弹性能K13项,同时给出了由此判断K13项是否存在的检验方法. 关键词: 表面弹性能K13项 弱锚定 Fréedericksz转变  相似文献

Coordinative Anchoring of Nickel Complexes on Hectorite-Layer Silicates through long-chain Diphenylphosphine Groups The treatment of sodium and calcium hectorites with 2-diphenylphosphinoethyltriethoxysilane leads, by condensation of free hydroxyl groups, to functionalized layer silicates with long-chain diphenylphosphine groups onto which nickel chloride can be coordinated. In these modified hectorites the fourth coordination site of the tetrahedrally coordinated nickel is occupied by a labile solvent molecule. On the other hand, the complex bis(2-diphenylphosphinoethyltriethoxysilane)nickel(II) chloride prepared beforehand also reacts with sodium hectorite under condensation; but the square-planar coordination of the four stable ligands (two chloride and two phosphor atoms) is maintained. This finds its expression in a significant activity decrease in catalytic reactions as compared to the aforementioned products.  相似文献

We report experimental studies on defects in a nematic liquid crystal with negative dielectric anisotropy mounted in a cell with perfluoropolymer-coated surfaces. The sample exhibits a discontinuous anchoring transition from planar to homeotropic on cooling at zero or a small electric field, and above a cross-over voltage a continuous ‘inverse Freedericksz transition’, at which the director starts tilting in opposite directions at the two surfaces. Defects of strength ±1/2 are either annihilated or expelled when the director tilts. On the other hand, disclination lines of ±1 which end in partial point defects (boojums) at the surfaces in the planar alignment regime acquire point defects of strength ±1 at the midplane of the cell when the director tilts. At a low enough temperature, the homeotropic anchoring becomes strong, and an electric field above the Freedericksz threshold generates the usual umbilic defects, which follow the dynamic scaling laws found in earlier studies.  相似文献

Anchoring groups are extremely important in controlling the performance of dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSCs). The design and characterization of sensitizers with new anchoring groups, in particular non‐carboxylic acid groups, has become a recent focus of DSC research. Herein, new donor? π? acceptor zinc? porphyrin dyes with a pyridine ring as an anchoring group have been designed and synthesized for applications in DSCs. Photophysical and electrochemical investigations demonstrated that the pyridine ring worked effectively as an anchoring group for the porphyrin sensitizers. DSCs that were based on these new porphyrins showed an overall power‐conversion efficiency of about 4.0 % under full sunlight (AM 1.5G, 100 mW cm?2).  相似文献

A secondary chiral (R)-(?)-2-alcohol underwent the Mitsunobu reaction with triphenylphosphine, diethyl azodicarboxylate and ethyl 4-hydroxybiphenylcarboxylate, resulting in the desired (S)-(+)-product with high enantiomeric purity (>99% ee), with the chiral branched chain attached to the biphenyl. This method is operationally simple and provides the very important chiral precursor in good yields (62% in dry THF and 72% in dry Et2O). The condensation of the (S)-(+)-acid chloride from this material and a suitable 4-n-alkylthiophenol in toluene in the presence of pyridine or triethylamine furnishes the chiral (S)-(+)-thiobenzoate liquid crystals in good yields (80–83% in pyridine and 65–68% in Et3N). (S)-(+)-4-(1-Methylheptyloxy)biphenyl 4-alkylthiobenzoates are abbreviated (S)-MHOBSn , where n varies from 4 to 10 and denotes the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl chain. DSC, polarizing microscopy and X-ray diffraction showed that the (S)-MHOBSn series possesses a rich phase polymorphism: two highly ordered tilted phases CrG* and SmI*, as well as the ferroelectric smectic C (SmC*) and chiral nematic (N*) phase. In this series, the seldom observed transition between the chiral phases SmI*–SmC* is seen. All the compounds possess stable enantiotropic SmC* and N* phases. The existence of weak intermolecular hydrogen-bonding in (S)-MHOBSn was confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy.  相似文献

CRISPR-Cas12a系统的反式切割活性在其识别特定的DNA激活序列后被激活,这不仅能实现特定DNA靶标的直接定量分析,同时也为构建针对多种生物标志物的体外传感体系带来了新的思路。然而,已有文献中所采用的双链DNA(dsDNA)和单链DNA(ssDNA)激活序列结构多种多样,缺乏全面、系统的设计指导原则。针对该问题,该文系统研究了不同结构的DNA激活序列对LbaCas12a反式切割活性的影响。通过对比研究,得出以下结论:(1)前间区序列邻近基序(PAM)位点有助于LbaCas12a更高效地靶向结合dsDNA激活序列和ssDNA激活序列;(2)PAM近端区域缺少序列片段会降低Cas12a-crRNA定位激活序列的效率;(3)删除PAM远端序列片段有利于增强LbaCas12a的反式切割活性;(4)由于省略了dsDNA解链过程,ssDNA激活序列在激活LbaCas12a的反式切割活性方面普遍比dsDNA激活序列产生的效果更好。根据这些发现,该文提出了一种LbaCas12a所青睐的高效激活序列结构,其激活的LbaCas2a反式酶切活性较采用含PAM位点的标准dsDNA激活序列高出3.7倍。研究结果为构建基于CRISPR-Cas12a的高效体外生物传感系统提供了重要支撑。  相似文献

The development of noble-metal-free heterogeneous catalysts is promising for selective oxidation of aromatic alcohols; however, the relatively low conversion of non-noble metal catalysts under solvent-free atmospheric conditions hinders their industrial application. Now, a holey lamellar high entropy oxide (HEO) Co0.2Ni0.2Cu0.2Mg0.2Zn0.2O material with mesoporous structure is prepared by an anchoring and merging process. The HEO has ultra-high catalytic activity for the solvent-free aerobic oxidation of benzyl alcohol. Up to 98 % conversion can be achieved in only 2 h, to our knowledge, the highest conversion of benzyl alcohol by oxidation to date. By regulating the catalytic reaction parameters, benzoic acid or benzaldehyde can be selectively optimized as the main product. Analytical characterizations and calculations provide a deeper insight into the catalysis mechanism, revealing abundant oxygen vacancies and holey lamellar framework contribute to the ultra-high catalytic activity.  相似文献

We show that there exists a symmetry allowed term for chiral nematics that doesn’t appear in the traditional Rapini-Papoular surface energy form. The effect of donor-acceptor distance in controlling the rate of electron transfer in axially linked silicon phthalocyanine-C60 dyads has been investigated. For this, two C60-SiPc-C60 dyads, 1 and 2 , varying in their donor-acceptor distance, have been newly synthesized and characterized. In the case of C60-SiPc-C60 1 where the SiPc and C60 are separated by a phenyl spacer, faster electron transfer was observed with kcs equal to 2.7×109 s−1 in benzonitrile. However, in the case of C60-SiPc-C60 2 , where SiPc and C60 are separated by a biphenyl spacer, a slower electron transfer rate constant, kcs=9.1×108 s−1, was recorded. The addition of an extra phenyl spacer in 2 increased the donor-acceptor distance by ∼4.3 Å, and consequently, slowed down the electron transfer rate constant by a factor of ∼3.7. The charge separated state lasted over 3 ns, monitoring time window of our femtosecond transient spectrometer. Complimentary nanosecond transient absorption studies revealed formation of 3SiPc* as the end product and suggested the final lifetime of the charge separated state to be in the 3–20 ns range. Energy level diagrams established to comprehend these mechanistic details indicated that the comparatively high-energy SiPc.+-C60.− charge separated states (1.57 eV) populated the low-lying 3SiPc* (1.26 eV) prior returning to the ground state.  相似文献

Abstract

We present detailed Monte Carlo simulations of a simple model of a nematic liquid crystal slot waveguide shifter, investigating the effect of an applied electric external field. The simulations are based on the Lebwohl-Lasher lattice spin model with boundary conditions chosen to mimic the planar alignment as in Silicon Organic Hybrid waveguides and the homeotropic anchoring appropriate for Polydimethylsiloxane polymer walls. The external field is modeled by adding a term to the Hamiltonian which describes its coupling to the mesogenic molecules. We have investigated the effect of the external field on the optical transmission and the ordering across the cell.  相似文献
