STUDY ON THE CONFORMATIONAL PROPERTIES OF RIGID POLYELECTROLYTE SPU IN SOLUTION

The conformation and dimension of SPU polyanion have been studied by viscosity and quasi-elastic light scattering methods. The rigidity of SPU is somewhat similar to CMC and its hydrodynamic radius decreases only slowly with increasing concentration of NaCl.     

Synthesis and simple separation of β-pyrrole sulfonated porphycenes

New water-soluble porphycenes having sulfonic acid groups at the β-pyrrolic positions were synthesized and characterized by UV-vis, NMR, IR, and mass spectroscopy as well as elemental analyses. The series of mono- to tri-sulfonato derivatives were simply separated by the extraction method.

Effect of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate on the graft copolymerization of ethyl acrylate onto hydroxypropyl methylcellulose in aqueous medium

Graft copolymerization of an ethyl acrylate (EA) and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) monomer mixture onto water-soluble hydroxypropyl methylcellulose was investigated with potassium persulfate (KPS) as the initiator in an aqueous medium. The effects of introducing DMAEMA onto the graft copolymerization and the properties of the resulting latex that was produced were studied systematically. The optimum conditions for the graft copolymerization in terms of percentage of grafting and grafting efficiency were determined. The graft copolymer was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra, elemental analyses, nuclear magnetic resonance, transmission electron microscopy, and dynamic light scattering methods. The results suggest that the introduction of the DMAEMA monomer clearly accelerates the initial rate of the graft copolymerization, whereas the grafting parameters decrease significantly with increasing amounts of DMAEMA. These results can be attributed to the relatively large size of the DMAEMA molecule, its redox reaction with KPS, its hydrophilicity in water, and its chain transfer effect. The equilibrium humidity adsorption behavior and acid solubility of graft the copolymer films were also studied.     

Synthesis of cationic water-soluble esters of chlorin e6

Two esters of chlorin e₆ have been synthesized by esterification with aminoalcohols via the formation of acid chloride using oxalyl chloride and converted to the corresponding cationic water-soluble esters of chlorin e₆. The visible absorption and circular dichroism spectra have revealed that these two cationic chlorin e₆ esters synthesized are readily soluble in water as a monomer.     

Preparation of a novel molecularly imprinted polymer using a water-soluble crosslinking agent

A molecularly imprinted polymer was prepared using a water-soluble crosslinking agent. An ionic complex was utilized as the assembly for the template molecule and the functional monomer, and water as porogenic solvent during preparation of the imprinted polymer. The results of chromatographic evaluations for the prepared polymer suggested that the polymer had much lower hydrophobicity compared with usual octadecyl group bonded silica or the usual molecular imprinted polymer prepared from ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate, and the selective recognition ability for template molecule in the completely aqueous condition.

自八十年代初，水溶性高聚物再次成为高分子科学研究热点，评述了水溶性高聚物，特别是疏水缔合型改性水溶性高聚物的最新进展。     

Synthesis and flocculation performance of graft copolymer of <Emphasis Type="Italic">N</Emphasis> -vinylformamide and poly(dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) methyl chloride macromonomer

 A comb-structured polymeric flocculant was synthesized by the aqueous copolymerization of N-vinylformamide (NVF) with poly(dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) quats (methyl chloride) macromonomer. The effects of temperature and macromonomer concentration on the copolymerization kinetics were determined experimentally. The copolymerization reactivity ratio was measured to be 3.82 and 6.39 for NVF and macromonomers with 50 and 100 repeating units when copolymerized with NVF. The copolymer samples were also subjected to a flocculation performance test and were found to be more effective than linear random cationic copolymers in terms of cationic content, flocculation rate, final turbidity levels, and floc strength. 离子液体两相不对称氢甲酰化催化反应的研究

从(R)-BINAP出发制备水溶性磺酸钠盐配体(R)-BINAPS,采用离子液体BF4和PF6为介质,实现其Rh配合物对乙酸乙烯酯的两相不对称氢甲酰化反应.实验结果表明,在以BF4为介质的乙酸乙烯酯不对称氢甲酰化反应中,该催化剂在温和条件下显示出高于相应均相体系的产物ee值和异构醛选择性,并在6次循环使用中,反应产物的ee值、选择性和转化率均无明显改变;在离子液体体系中添加适当的甲苯时,油溶性配体(R)-BINAP与Rh组成的配合物催化剂亦可形成类似的两相反应体系,但其活性和选择性在重复使用中呈明显下降趋势.本文还考察了溶剂体系、膦铑比、温度、压力、时间等的影响,并尝试苯乙烯的两相不对称氢甲酰化反应.     

Determination of water-soluble vitamins in pharmaceutical preparations by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with a mobile phase containing sodium dodecylsulphate andn-propanol

Summary A reversed-phase liquid chromatographic method with sodium dodecylsulphate-n-propanolwater as mobile phase has been used to separate and determine six water-soluble vitamins in twelve minutes. The analytical characteristics linear range, sensitivity, detection limits, and precision were evaluated. The lowest detection limits were those of nicotinic acid (not usually present in pharmaceutical products), 0.7 mgL⁻¹, nicotinamide, 1.3 mg L⁻¹, and pyridoxine, 1.4 mg L⁻¹. When the method was applied to the determination of the vitamins in pharmaceutical samples the values found agreed with those on the labels.
