Synthesis and simple separation of β-pyrrole sulfonated porphycenes

New water-soluble porphycenes having sulfonic acid groups at the β-pyrrolic positions were synthesized and characterized by UV-vis, NMR, IR, and mass spectroscopy as well as elemental analyses. The series of mono- to tri-sulfonato derivatives were simply separated by the extraction method.

Synthesis of cationic water-soluble esters of chlorin e6

Two esters of chlorin e₆ have been synthesized by esterification with aminoalcohols via the formation of acid chloride using oxalyl chloride and converted to the corresponding cationic water-soluble esters of chlorin e₆. The visible absorption and circular dichroism spectra have revealed that these two cationic chlorin e₆ esters synthesized are readily soluble in water as a monomer.     

水溶性高聚物的研究进展

自八十年代初，水溶性高聚物再次成为高分子科学研究热点，评述了水溶性高聚物，特别是疏水缔合型改性水溶性高聚物的最新进展。     

Beiträge zur Chemie der Pyrrolpigmente, 82. Mitt.: Wasserlösliche Polymere mit kovalent gebundenen violinoiden und 2,3-dihydro-verdinoiden Gallenfarbstoffen

Summary A violinoid and a 2,3-dihydrobilindione chromophore is attachedvia an appendix anchored at rings A of the pigments by means of reacting them with the polyacryl-N-acryloxysuccinimid copolymer to yield water-soluble chromopolymers. They are characterized by a molecular mass of about 4000 to 6000 and a relation of one chromophoric unit per 6 to 22 monomers. Their absorption spectra and circular dichroism recorded in water and dimethylsulfoxide as solvents are discussed with respect to structural aspects, and in comparison with monomeric chromophore derivatives.

Synthesis and characterization of polymers containing linear sugar moieties as side groups

The synthesis of a water-soluble monomer, namely 4-vinylphenyl-d-gluco(d-manno)hexitol (4) derived from d-gluconolactone, is here presented. The homopolymerization of the vinylsugar has been conducted in both aqueous and organic media using free-radical initiators. High-molar-mass water-soluble polymers are obtained. The copolymerization behavior of the vinylphenyl sugar monomer with a hydrophilic monomer such as acrylamide, as well as with a hydrophobic monomer such as styrene, has been investigated. Statistical- and block-type copolymers have thus been prepared. The structures of the polymers were confirmed by NMR and their thermal properties examined by DSC.     

水溶性金属卟啉肿瘤靶向磁共振成像造影剂的研究

利用显微荧光－阿达玛变换三维图像分析研究了Ｃｕ－ＴＳＰＰ，Ｍｎ－ＴＳＰＰ，Ｃｕ－ＴＭＡＰ，Ｍｎ－ＴＭＡＰ４种水溶性金属卟啉人细胞间质进入肿瘤细胞内的富集过程，对金属卟啉的自旋－晶格驰豫性能（Ｒ１）的天空结果表明，Ｍｎ（Ⅱ）卟啉配合物的Ｒ１、值结Ｇｄ－ＤＴＰＡ提高１．５－２倍。     

Spectroscopic studies of water-soluble sulfonated calix[6]arene

Fluorescence and absorption studies of water-soluble sulfonated calix[6]arene (SCX6) are reported. Water-soluble calixarenes are potentially useful as host molecules for luminophores, and studies of their spectroscopic characteristics are therefore crucial. The absorption and fluorescence spectra of these molecules in aqueous solution were collected, analyzed, and compared with 4-hydroxybenzene sulfonate at different pHs. A red shift in the absorption spectrum and a change in the fluorescence spectrum of the calixarenes are observed upon an increase in pH from 2.0 to 13.0. Some of these spectroscopic changes are attributed to intramolecular hydrogen bonding between adjacent hydroxyl groups of SCX6 after proton disassociation. The formation of excimers between phenolic groups in the calixarene molecule is proposed. In addition, inner-filter effects of SCX6 are discussed. These inner-filter effects prove to be a disadvantage for the use of SCX6 as a host molecule for complexation studies by use of fluorescence probes whose absorption spectra overlap with those of calixarenes.     

Palladium-catalyzed Suzuki cross-coupling of aryl halides with aryl boronic acids in the presence of glucosamine-based phosphines

Carbohydrate-substituted phosphines are easily obtained in quite good yields by coupling of protected or non-protected d-glucosamine with the corresponding diphenylphosphino acid. These neutral ligands, in association with palladium acetate, are very active catalysts in the Suzuki cross-coupling reaction. The polyhydroxy phosphines are more active than the peracetylated phosphines. The process tolerates electron-rich as well as electron-poor substituents. Excellent turnovers, up to 97?000 are observed.     

Synthesis of water-soluble hyperbranched polymer and its application in acrylic latex

A water-soluble hyperbranched polymer (WHBP), obtained from a second generation of hyperbranched polyester and maleic anhydride, was studied. Its effects on the properties of acrylic latexes, which were based on emulsion polymerization of butyl acrylate (BA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), acrylic acid (AA) and WHBP, and latex film were discussed. The characteristics of WHBP were determined by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Particle size and morphology of latex particles were confirmed by dynamic light scattering (DLS) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The investigation showed that WHBP could be used in emulsion polymerization, and that latex of poly(BA-MMA-WHBP) was more stable than that of poly(BA-MMA-AA). The hardness of latex film increased from 2B to HB when WHBP was used.
