A simple,rapid and sensitive method based on modified multiwalled carbon nanotube for preconcentration and determination of lead ions in aqueous media in natural pHs

In this study, multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) was modified by the pyridine group using a silane agent and characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), thermal analysis (TG/DTA), and elemental analysis (CHN) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The application of this sorbent was investigated in determination of lead ions in aqueous samples, using flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). Through this study, different parameters such as pH and sample flow rate on adsorption process and eluent concentration, volume and flow rate were optimized. The limit of detection (LOD), the relative standard deviation and the recovery of the method were 2 ng mL^?1, 1.3% and 99.7%, respectively. Two standard reference materials (NIST 1571 and NIST 1572) were used to verify accuracy of this method. Finally, the sorbent was successfully applied for extraction and determination of low levels of Pb(II) ions in aqueous samples.     

Self-Assembly of C3 Symmetric Rigid Macrolactams into Very Polar and Porous Trigonal Crystals

Cyclohexane and cyclotri-β-alanyl have been used as scaffolds for the design of new C₃-symmetric rings incorporating conjugated alkenes and dienes. All three C₃-symmetric lactams share the same triangular shape and their crystal system is trigonal. They all belong to the R3 space group, R3m, R3 and R3c, for the increasingly large 12-, 18- and 24-membered rigid rings, respectively. All lactams stack on top of each other, through H-bonds and van der Waals noncovalent interactions, leading to endless supramolecular cylinders and tubes. The largest member of the family leads to tubes, the central pores of which is wide enough to let water in. A common feature of all the lactams is their very large dipole, of around 9 D, according to DFT calculations. Surprisingly, all the resulting cylinders and tubes pack side by side in the crystals, with all the dipoles pointing to the same direction. As a result, all three crystals are anisotropic and appear to be the first members of a new kind of highly polar crystals.     

纳米TiO_2用于甲基橙溶液的光催化氧化研究

本实验采用纳米级的二氧化钛,对甲基橙溶液进行了紫外光催化氧化处理,探讨了pH的影响和添加Fe3+的效果及反应动力学方程,结果表明,采用UV/O3/TiO2工艺对其进行处理,pH4-5时,10W紫外灯光照60min,CODcr去除率达84%,脱色率达96%以上。添加Fe3+,对溶液的催化降解速度提高不明显。动力学研究表明,CODcr降解速度对CODcr的浓度为一级反应。     

碳纳米管阵列、捆束的三步升温工艺制备及其形貌与结构

使用结构简单的单温炉设备，通过三步升温热解二茂铁、三聚氰氨混合物方法，在二氧化硅、多晶陶瓷基底上分别合成了碳纳米管阵列、碳纳米管捆束.使用扫描电子显微镜、透射电子显微镜、电子能量损失谱和x射线光电子能谱对合成样品进行了结构和成分分析.结果显示：两种基底上合成的纳米管均为多壁纯碳管；生长于光滑二氧化硅表面的碳纳米管具有高度取向性和一致的外径，长度为10—40μm.碳纳米管采取催化剂顶端生长模式并展示出类杯状形貌；生长于粗糙多晶陶瓷表面的碳纳米管捆束随机取向，碳纳米管直径为15—80nm，长度在几百微米，展示 关键词： 碳纳米管 热解法 三步升温工艺     

利用场发射显微镜研究O2对单壁碳纳米管场发射的影响

利用场发射显微镜和四极质谱计研究了充入高纯O2的四极质谱和O2对单壁碳纳米管场发射的影响.单壁碳纳米管经过约1000℃的热处理得到清洁态场发射像后，充入O2，分别测量了O2吸附和脱附后场发射的I V特性.实验观测到在单壁碳纳米管上O2的吸附使场发射电流减小，说明逸出功增加.在10-4Pa的O2压强下对单壁碳纳米管进行约1000℃的热处理，可以产生氧化刻蚀作用，观测到场发射像的变化，并测量了氧化刻蚀产生的I V特性变化. 关键词： 单壁碳纳米管 场发射显微镜 场发射 四极质谱     

高温超导体Josephson阵列在磁场中的微波响应与磁通涡旋激发

本文从分析相变电阻率 ρP 和磁通蠕动电阻率 ρF 出发 ,指出当T小于某一温度T0 时 ,ρF>ρP,而当T >T0 时 ,ρF 远小于 ρP,并进一步分析了 ρF 与 ρP 随温度的变化率分布图 ,得出磁通蠕动电阻率 ρF 随温度的变化率分布图跟微波响应曲线具有相似的分布特征 ,结果表明 :高温超导体的非平衡微波响应机制可能与磁通涡旋的激发有关 .     

Fabrication and transport properties of multiwall carbon nanotube crossroads

A multiwall carbon nanotube crossroads has been fabricated by a manipulation technique using a glass microcapillary, and the low temperature transport properties investigated. The two-terminal conductance of an individual tube shows Tomonaga–Luttinger liquid behavior G∝T^α at high temperature and dI/dV ∝V ^α at low temperature. However, no evidence of such a power-law behavior is obtained in the four-terminal conductance at the junction, where the conductance shows an almost metallic behavior ‘corrected’ by weak localization. Weak localization would essentially appear in electron states at the junctions of MWNTs.     

640 × 512 pixel narrow-band, four-band, and broad-band quantum well infrared photodetector focal plane arrays

A 9 μm cutoff 640 × 512 pixel hand-held quantum well infrared photodetector (QWIP) camera has been demonstrated with excellent imagery. A noise equivalent differential temperature (NEDT) of 10.6 mK is expected at a 65 K operating temperature with f/2 optics at a 300 K background. This focal plane array has shown background limited performance at a 72 K operating temperature with the same optics and background conditions. In this paper, we discuss the development of this very sensitive long-wavelength infrared camera based on a GaAs/AlGaAs QWIP focal plane array and its performance in quantum efficiency, NEDT, uniformity, and operability. In the second section of this paper, we discuss the first demonstration of a monolithic spatially separated four-band 640 × 512 pixel QWIP focal plane array and its performance. The four spectral bands cover 4–5.5, 8.5–10, 10–12, and 13.5–15 μm spectral regions with 640 × 128 pixels in each band. In the last section, we discuss the array performance of a 640 × 512 pixel broad-band (10–16 μm full-width at half-maximum) QWIP focal plane.     

脉冲磁场处理对碳纳米管掺杂MgB2线材临界电流密度的影响

对碳纳米管(CNT)掺杂MgB₂超导体磁场处理后的行为进行了研究. 结果表明，CNT掺杂MgB₂超导体经5T脉冲磁场处理后临界电流密度J_c(H)在低磁场下提高了2—3倍，高场下提高一个数量级以上，扫描电镜结果显示CNT沿着处理磁场方向规则排列并且成为MgB₂基体的形核中心和高效的磁通钉扎中心. 关键词： 2')" href="#">MgB₂ 碳纳米管 脉冲磁场处理     

含有五边形—七边形缺陷的单壁纳米碳管的输运性质研究

运用第一性原理的密度泛函理论结合非平衡格林函数研究了含有五边形—七边形拓扑缺陷的纳米碳管异质结的输运性质.结果发现：拓扑缺陷对碳管的输运性质有很大影响；另外，不同类型的碳管形成的异质结的输运性质也有明显的差异. 关键词： 纳米碳管 输运性质 异质结 透射系数
