A dyad bearing azobenzene and spiropyran units was synthesized and its applications in indicating the polarity and protic or aprotic properties of a solvent were explored. The spiropyran-azobenzene derivative (SPAB) can be induced to different forms in different miscellaneous solvents accompanied with different color changes and spectral characteristics at the presence of organic base DBU. In a nonpolar or low-polar solvent, SPAB exists in thermostable spiropyran form with yellow color output. While in an aprotic polar solvent, the spiropyran part isomerized to merocyanine form giving a blue color. When SPAB is subjected to a protic solvent, the alkylation reaction occurs at the oxygen generating the alkylated-SPAB with red color. This solvent-dependent property can be used for discriminating solvent type.  相似文献

We investigated hydration and swelling behavior of a solid state photoresponsive copolymer in water by using a quartz crystal microbalance technique with dissipation measurement (QCM-D technique). On the gold film electrode of a quartz resonator, we deposited a thin layer of a pNSp-NIPAAm, which is a poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPAAm) polymer partially modified with a photochromic chromophore, 6-nitrospiropyran (NSp). Using QCM-D measurements, we found that at a temperature of 19 °C both water adsorption and changes in the viscoelasticity of the solid pNSp-NIPAAm layer were induced when pNSp-NIPAAm was irradiated by 365 nm ultraviolet light, which triggers the photoisomerization of the NSp chromophore and makes the structure of the chromophore hydrophilic. At temperatures between 25 and 35 °C, this photo-induced hydration was not observed. These observations suggest that the photoisomerization of the NSp chromophores triggered the photo-induced hydration only when pNIPAAm component is sufficiently hydrophilic, at a temperature of 19 °C.  相似文献

In recent years, organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) with high performance and novel multifunctionalities have attracted considerable attention. Meanwhile, featured with reversible photoisomerization and the corresponding variation in color, chemical/physical properties, photochromic molecules have been applied in sensors, photo-switches and memories. Incorporation of photochromic molecules to blend in the device functional layers or to modify the interfaces of OFETs is common way to build photo-transistors. In this review, we focus on the recent advantages on the study of photoresponsive transistors involving one of three typical photochromic compounds spiropyran, diarylethene and azobenzene. Three main strategies are demonstrated in detail. Firstly, photochromic molecules are doped in active layers or combined with semiconductor structure thus forming photoreversible active layers. Secondly, the modification of dielectric layer/active layer interface is mainly carried out by bilayer dielectric. Thirdly, the photo-isomerization of self-assembled monolayer (SAM) on the electrode/active layer interface can reversibly modulate the work functions and charge injection barrier, result in bifunctional OFETs. All in all, the combination of photochromic molecules and OFETs is an efficient way for the fabrication of organic photoelectric devices. Photoresponsive transistors consisted of photochromic molecules are potential candidate for real applications in the future.  相似文献

Photoresponsive OFETs were fabricated based on a tri-component active layer (NDI2OD-DTYM2, spiropyran and polystyrene). The results demonstrated that these OFETs displayed photoresponsive feature to alternate UV and vis light due to the photoisomerization of spiropyran between the closed-ring state and ionic open-ring state.  相似文献

Mimicking biological proton pumps to achieve stimuli-responsive protonic solids has long been of great interest for their diverse applications in fuel cells, chemical sensors, and bio-electronic devices. Now, dynamic light-responsive metal–organic framework hybrid membranes can be obtained by in situ encapsulation of photoactive molecules (sulfonated spiropyran, SSP), as the molecular valve, into the cavities of the host ZIF-8. The configuration of SSP can be changed and switched reversibly in response to light, generating different mobile acidic protons and thus high on/off photoswitchable proton conductivity in the hybrid membranes and device. This device exhibits a high proton conductivity, fast response time, and extremely large on/off ratio upon visible-light irradiation. This approach might provide a platform for creating emerging smart protonic solids with potential applications in the remote-controllable chemical sensors or proton-conducting field-effect transistors.  相似文献

A spiropyran-based fluorescent and photoregenerable receptor, that is, selective towards zinc(II) ions over a series of biologically and environmentally relevant cations has been designed and synthesized. The complex formation gives rise to colour changes that are visible to the naked eye and reversible upon visible light irradiation. 1H NMR studies confirm that the closed form is converted to the open trans-merocyanine complex upon addition of zinc ions.  相似文献

为实现金属离子检测和分子水平的信息处理, 合成了一类新型的含有功能配位基团的螺吡喃衍生物(SP1-SP4). 研究发现: 在没有UV光照的条件下, 金属离子可以促进螺吡喃(SP2SP4)开环并形成稳定可逆的络合物(MC-Mn+). 紫外-可见吸收光谱研究表明, 在UV光照前加入不同的金属离子会引起SP2SP4 的光学性质的特征变化, 因此提供了一种简易的通过裸眼就能辨别金属离子的比色方法. 荧光光谱研究表明, 这类化合物能够高灵敏高选择性地检测锌离子. 此外, 基于吸收光谱和荧光光谱的变化, 这类螺吡喃衍生物可以用于构建组合的逻辑门, 执行分子水平的信息处理, 从而展现了其在化学或环境传感和未来的分子计算机领域的潜在应用前景.  相似文献

The photochromic ring-opening reaction of spiropyran(SP) has been investigated by a realistic semiclassical dynamics simulation,accompanied by SA3-CASSCF(12 10)/MS-CASPT2 potential energy curves(PECs) of S0–S2.The main simulation results show the dominate pathway corresponds to the ringopening process of trans-SP to form the most stable merocyanine(MC) product.These findings provide more important complementarity for interpreting experimental observations.  相似文献
