Nickel(II) complexes, having the general composition Ni(L)2X2, have been synthesized [where L: isopropyl methyl ketone semicarbazone (LLA), isopropyl methyl ketone thiosemicarbazone (LLB), 4-aminoacetophenone semicarbazone (LLC) and 4-aminoacetophenone thiosemicarbazone (LLD) and X=Cl-, 1/2SO(4)2-]. All the Ni(II) complexes reported here have been characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic moments, IR, electronic and mass spectral studies. All the complexes were found to have magnetic moments corresponding to two unpaired electrons. The possible geometries of the complexes were assigned on the basis of electronic and infrared spectral studies. Newly synthesized ligand and its nickel(II) complexes have been screened against different bacterial and fungal growth. 相似文献

The reaction of tin(IV) tetrachloride with 3-formylpyridine semicarbazone and different 3-formylpyridine thiosemicarbazones produces [Sn(HL)CL 3 ][SnCl 5 ] where HL stands for the neutral ligand. The tin(IV) complexes were characterized using a variety of spectroscopic techniques. Coordination through the pyridine nitrogen occurs in all cases. Solvation studies in DMSO indicated that dissociation of the ligands and their complete replacement by solvent molecules occurs. 相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structure, photophysical properties, and biological activity of the novel bis‐cyclometalated complexes [Ir(ptpy)2(vnsc)] ( 2 ) and [Ir(ptpy)2(acsc)] ( 3 ) [ptpy = 2‐(p‐tolyl)pyridinato, vnsc = vanillin semicarbazone, acsc = acetone semicarbazone] are described. The new compounds were prepared by the reaction of [{Ir(μ‐Cl)(ptpy)2}2] ( 1 ) with the corresponding semicarbazone ligands under basic conditions. The molecular structure of compound 3 was confirmed by a single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction study. The complex crystallized from chloroform as a mono‐ solvate in the orthorhombic space group Pcab with eight molecules in the unit cell. 相似文献

Complexes [Zn2(HL1)2(CH3COO)2] (1) and [Zn2(L2)2] (2) were synthesized with salicylaldehyde semicarbazone (H2L1) and salicylaldehyde-4-chlorobenzoyl hydrazone (H2LASSBio-1064, H2L2), respectively. The crystal structure of (1) was determined. Upon recrystallization of previously prepared [Zn2(HL2)2(Cl)2] (3) in 1:9 DMSO:acetone crystals of [Zn2(L2)2(H2O)2]·[Zn2(L2)2(DMSO)4] (3a) were obtained. The crystal structure of 3a was also determined. All crystal structures revealed the presence of phenoxo-bridged binuclear zinc(II) complexes. 相似文献

<正>In pursuit for better antiepileptic drug and the importance of semicarbazones and 2,5-disubstituted 1,3,4-thiadiazoles as anticonvulsant pharmacophore,a series of novel N-({5-[(6-methyl-1-benzofuran-3-y1)methyl]-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl}carbamothioyl) -2/3/4-substitutedbenzamide were designed,synthesized and evaluated for their anticonvulsant activity.The findings of the present studies confirmed that the pharmacophore model with four binding sites is crucial for anticonvulsant activity. The pyridine‐2‐carbaldehyde semicarbazone ligand (HL) reacts with iron(II) and copper(II) perchlorates in boiling ethanol to yield red‐violet [FeII(HL)2](ClO4)2·H2O ( 1 ) and light‐green crystals [CuII(HL)2](ClO4)2·H2O ( 2 ). The crystals are triclinic with the metal ions in an octahedral environment, coordinated to two nitrogen and one oxygen‐donor atom from HL.
