The Diels-Alder reaction of protonated N-benzyl imine of methyl glyoxylate with cyclopentadiene in different solvents gave mixtures of exo/endo adducts. The exo/endo selectivity of the reaction was elucidated by NMR experiments. Theoretical calculations by means of density functional theory (DFT) at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level have also been performed to elucidate the molecular mechanism of this reaction. The DFT results suggest a highly asynchronous concerted mechanism, which in turn can explain the preferred exo stereoselectivity of the reaction. Inclusion of solvent effects enhances the exo selectivity, and this effect increases with the polarity of the solvent, in good agreement with the experimental findings. 相似文献

Selective laser-induced phototautomerism of free-base porphin in different n-alkanes (n-hexane, n-heptane, n-octane, nnonane, n-decane, n-undecane and n-dodecane) has been used to identify tautomer splittings in a number of sites in polycrystalline samples at 2 K. Pairs or lines arising from the two molecular orientations in each site can be reversibly transformed into each other. In the odd n-alkanes the occupation of different sites was not dependent on the rate at which the samples were frozen, but in the even n-alkanes metastable sites were only occupied following rapid quenching. 相似文献

Molecular structures, metallotropic and prototropic shifts of cyclopentadienyl(trimethyl)silane ( 1 ), cyclopentadienyl(trimethyl)germane ( 2 ), and cyclopentadienyl(trimethyl)stannane ( 3 ) were investigated using ab initio molecular orbital and the Becke, Lee, Yang, and Parr density functional (B3LYP) methods. The results show that the most stable structure of compounds 1-3 has the (CH 3 ) 3 M fragment in the allylic position. The energy barrier of metallotropic shifts in compound 1 is higher than in 2 , and in compound 2 higher than in 3 , in good agreement with experimental data. The cyclopentadienyl rings in compounds 1-3 are found to be planar but this result contradicts the reported experimental data. 相似文献

ABSTRACT The syntheses of α-D-GlcpNAc-(1→4)-β-D-Galp-(1→4)-β-D-GlcNAc-(1→O)-(CH2)15CH3 (1) and fragments thereof, corresponding to structures found in human ovarian cyst fluid, are described. Silver triflate promoted coupling of 3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-2-azido-2-deoxy-β-D-glucopyranosyl bromide (12) and galactose acceptor (11) gave a disaccharide donor (13), which was readily transformed into the corresponding bromo-derivative 18. For the synthesis of disaccharide β-D-Galp-(1→4)-D-GlcNAc, several differently protected glucosamine acceptors were prepared. It was found that cetyl alcohol needed to be introduced after the formation of the β-galactoside bond. Glycosylation of pent-4-enyl 3,6-di-O-benzyl-2-deoxy-2-tetrachlorophthalimido-β-D-glucopyranoside (30) with (3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-2-azido-2-deoxy-α-D-glucopyranosyl)-(1→4)-2,3,6-tri-O-benzoyl-α-D-galactopyranosyl bromide (18) by use of silver triflate as promoter gave the desired trisaccharide 31. The mechanism, catalytic effect and solvent effect of the hetero-Diels-Alder reac- tions between 3-pyridinedithioesters and 1-phenylsulfanylbutadiene have been studied theoretically using density functional theory (DFT) at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level. The results show that all of these reactions proceed in a concerted but asynchronous way. In some reactions the formation of C-S bond is prior to that of C-C bond and the opposite results are found in other reactions. The BF3 catalyst may lower the activation barriers by changing the energies of LUMO for 3-pyridine- dithioester. THF solvent has trivial influence on the potential energy surface of these reactions. With the BF3-catalyzed reactions, regioselectivity and stereoselectivity observed experimentally were predicted correctly by calculations and these results originate probably from C-H···F interaction in two transition states. 相似文献

A detailed mechanistic model for polystyrene pyrolysis was created that built on a modeling framework developed in our previous work and was used to probe three competing pathways to dimer formation: benzyl radical addition, 1,3-hydrogen shift, and 7,3-hydrogen shift, based on recent literature reports. To incorporate the chemistry involved in the 7,3-hydrogen shift pathway, the 1,7- and 7,3-hydrogen shift reaction families were added to the model. The updated version of the model tracks 75 species and over 3500 reactions. Rate parameters for all families were specified based on our previous work, more recent literature reports, and regression against limited experimental data. The model was able to accurately predict the experimental results for polystyrene pyrolysis for different reactor configurations for a temperature range of 100 °C and two orders of magnitude of initial molecular weight for experimental data collected in our own lab and from Bouster and coworkers and Bockhorn and coworkers. The results from our model were studied using net rate analysis to gain insight into the competitiveness of the various reaction pathways to dimer formation. The net rate analysis demonstrated that 7,3-hydrogen shift is the dominant reaction pathway to dimer formation at the temperatures studied. Benzyl radical addition becomes a more competitive reaction pathway as the temperature increases, which is caused predominantly by an increase in the benzyl radical concentration with increasing temperature. Overall, it is quantitatively shown that both 7,3-hydrogen shift and benzyl radical addition are important pathways for dimer formation, with their relative competitiveness influenced by temperature. 相似文献

By the study of 3000 kinetic runs for all homogeneous two-step models under variation of activation and signal parameters, it has been stated that the generated Mechanistic Concentration Code (=MCC) is the best vehicle for data extraction in Thermal Analysis. It summarises the rate-controlling steps and their molecularities, independently of their activation data and (to 80–90%) of their method-specific signal parameters. Hence, an optimum evaluation needs the internal (best-fitted) reference step, the initial concentration of a reference reactant, and equal weight of theoretical and experimental results, reached using the same algorithms. Thus, the MCC of any series measured in general allows for a reliable model determination via the distribution into all two-step models, using the tools of probability and decision theory. A transfer of the strategy to heterogeneous reactions is discussed.
Zusammenfassung Durch die Untersuchung von über 3000 kinetischen Abläufen für alle homogenkinetischen Zweistufen-Modelle wurde festgestellt, da\ der Mechanistische Konzentrations-Code (= MCC) ein optimaler Datenträger in der Thermischen Analyse ist: Er beschreibt die geschwindigkeitsbestimmenden Schritte und ihre Molekularität, unab- hängig von deren Aktivierungsdaten und, zu 80–90%, von ihren methodenspezifischen Signalparametern. Ein optimales Auswerteverfahren benötigt einen internen (optimal angepa\ten) Referenzschritt, die Startkonzentration eines Referenz-Reaktanten und Gleichberechtigung theoretischer und experimenteller Befunde, erreicht, durch Verwendung derselben Algorithmen. Allgemein ermöglicht der MCC aus einer Reihe von Experimenten dann eine Modellbestimmung über eine Verteilung, die durch entscheidungstheoretische Kriterien die Wahrscheinlichkeiten aller Zweistufenmodelle auflistet.Eine übertragung des Verfahrens auf heterogene Prozesse wird diskutiert.相似文献
