Einsatz der flammenlosen Atom-Absorption zur Bestimmung von Spurenmetallen in Wasser und Abwasser

Zusammenfassung Die flammenlose Atom-Absorptions-Spektroskopie in der Graphitrohrküvette wird zur Bestimmung von Metallspuren in natürlichem Wasser und Abwasser eingesetzt, besonders im Hinblick auf Probleme der Umweltkontrolle. Al, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn und Pb werden im Bodensee und seinen wichtigsten Zuflüssen bestimmt und mit den Werten für Ammonium, Chlorid und Phosphat verglichen. Zusammenhänge zwischen erhöhten Spurenelementgehalten und dem allgemeinen Verschmutzungsgrad werden geprüft. Die flammenlose Atom-Absorption bietet als Direktverfahren den Vorteil hoher Präzision und Richtigkeit im g/l-Bereich.Herrn Dr. A. Adsorption enrichment of some azo dye complexes on a carbon paste electrode and its application to the determination of small concentrations of cobalt and manganese

Summary The azo dyes eriochrome black T, eriochrome blueblack R and eriochrome blueblack B and their complexes with cobalt, manganese and magnesium show adsorption enrichment on carbon paste electrodes, dependent on the composition of the electrode filling. This effect may be used for the determination of cobalt and manganese by a.c. voltammetry in the 10^–7 to 10^–6 M range. Standard deviation has been found to be ± 3.2 and ± 3.5%, respectively.

Adsorptive Anreicherung einiger Komplexe von Azofarbstoffen an einer Kohlepasteelektrode. Anwendung zur Bestimmung geringer Konzentrationen von Kobalt und Mangan

Zusammenfassung Die Azofarbstoffe Eriochromschwarz T, Eriochromblauschwarz B und Eriochromblauschwarz R sowie ihre Komplexe mit Kobalt, Mangan und Magnesium werden adsorptiv an Kohlepasteelektroden angereichert. Die Anreicherung ist von der Zusammensetzung der Elektrodenfüllung abhängig. Anwendungen zur wechselstromvoltammetrischen Bestimmung von Kobalt und Mangan im 10^–7 bis 10^–6 M Bereich werden beschrieben. Die Standardabweichung liegt bei ± 3,2 bzw. ± 3,5%.

Retracted: The Manganese(I)-Catalyzed Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation of Ketones: Disclosing the Macrocylic Privilege

The bis(carbonyl) manganese(I) complex [Mn(CO)₂( 1 )]Br ( 2 ) with a chiral (NH)₂P₂ macrocyclic ligand ( 1 ) catalyzes the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of polar double bonds with 2-propanol as the hydrogen source. Ketones (43 substrates) are reduced to alcohols in high yields (up to >99 %) and with excellent enantioselectivities (90–99 % ee). A stereochemical model based on attractive CH–π interactions is proposed.     

Direct Synthesis of Amides by Dehydrogenative Coupling of Amines with either Alcohols or Esters: Manganese Pincer Complex as Catalyst

The first example of base‐metal‐catalysed synthesis of amides from the coupling of primary amines with either alcohols or esters is reported. The reactions are catalysed by a new manganese pincer complex and generate hydrogen gas as the sole byproduct, thus making the overall process atom‐economical and sustainable.
