The prediction of volume fractions in order to measure the multiphase flow rate is a very important issue and is the key parameter of multi-phase flow meters (MPFMs). Currently, the gamma ray attenuation technique is known as one of the most precise methods for obtaining volume fractions. The gamma ray attenuation technique is based on the mass attenuation coefficient, which is sensitive to density changes; density is sensitive in turn to temperature and pressure fluctuations. Therefore, MPFM efficiency depends strongly on environmental conditions. The conventional solution to this problem is the periodical recalibration of MPFMs, which is a demanding task. In this study, a method based on dual-modality densitometry and artificial intelligence (AI) is presented, which offers the advantage of the measurement of the oil–gas–water volume fractions independent of density changes. For this purpose, several experiments were carried out and used to validate simulated dual modality densitometry results. The reference density point was established at a temperature of 20 °C and pressure of 1 bar. To cover the full range of likely density fluctuations, four additional density sets were defined (at changes of ±4% and ±8% from the reference point). An annular regime with different percentages of oil, gas and water at different densities was simulated. Four features were extracted from the transmission and scattered detectors and were applied to the artificial neural network (ANN) as inputs. The input parameters included the 241Am full energy peak, 137Cs Compton edge, 137Cs full energy peak and total scattered count, and the outputs were the oil and air percentages. A multi-layer perceptron (MLP) neural network was used to predict the volume fraction independent of the oil and water density changes. The obtained results show that the proposed ANN model achieved good agreement with the real data, with an estimated root mean square error (RMSE) of less than 3.  相似文献

The epithermal beamline at the Portuguese Research Reactor is being optimized for Prompt Gamma Neutron Activation Analysis (PGNAA). One of the major changes is to thermalise the beam by the introduction of a sapphire crystal into the beamline. Placing the sapphire at the exit of the beamline would greatly reduce the alterations and work necessary to the port and make the crystal easily removable. However, the scattered neutrons from the sapphire would increase both the neutron-induced detector damage and the background radiation. MCNPX was used to simulate the crystal in the beam port and at the exit of the port.  相似文献

锂玻璃探测器中子探测效率的刻度   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
为了精确测量keV能区的中子俘获截面,中国原子能科学研究院正在建造一台4π 全吸收型γ 探测装置---GTAF,锂玻璃探测器将会作为中子束流监视器测量中子能谱。利用5SDH-2 加速器刻度了锂玻璃探测器在两个入射中子单能点(250 和565 keV) 的探测效率,并使用EANT4 和MCNP 程序模拟计算了锂玻璃探测器的相对探测效率。通过归一化实验数据和模拟结果,得到了锂玻璃探测器在10keV~1 MeV 能区的中子探测效率曲线。对于把锂玻璃探测器测量得到的飞行时间谱转化为中子束流能谱,是一项非常重要的工作,同时为探测器效率刻度提供了新方法。In order to accurately measure the neutron capture cross section in the energy range of keVMeV, 4 πgamma-ray total absorption facility (GTAF) is being constructed at China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE). The lithium glass detector will be used as a neutron beam monitor for GTAF. The detection efficiency of the lithium glass detector at two incident neutron energy points (250, 565 keV) was calibrated in 5SDH-2 accelerator, and the relative detection efficiency was simulated by GEANT4 and MCNP code. By the normalization of the experimental data and simulation result, the neutron detection efficiency curve of the lithium glass detector between 10 keV and 1 MeV was obtained. This work will be important to convert the Time-of-flight spectrum that be measured by Li-glass detector to the energy spectrum of neutron beam, and provide the new method for calibration of detection efficiency.  相似文献

水冷陶瓷包层是中国聚变工程实验堆(CFETR)的三种候选包层概念之一。基于CFETR水冷陶瓷包层的一维中子学模型,通过蒙特卡罗输运模拟程序MCNP和活化计算程序FISPACT的耦合计算,经三维转换系数修正,分析了CFETR水冷陶瓷包层时间相关产氚特性。结果表明,当CFETR运行因子为0.5,聚变功率为200MW时,水冷陶瓷包层在运行5年、10年、20年后,氚增殖率(TBR)的降低都不显著,但是年产氚剩余量的降低很明显。此外,产氚包层内初始时刻TBR对产氚特性的影响也很大。  相似文献

根据端窗透射微型X射线管阳极靶的结构,建立了数理模型,讨论了电子束打靶的平均厚度与光管高压的关系,得到了X光管出射特征光谱强度的角度分布特征。同时利用Monte Carlo方法,对出射光谱在2π方向上的强度分布特征开展模拟研究。结果表明,微型X射线管阳极靶材平均厚度在2 μm左右,在与入射电子束垂直方向几度的范围内获得的出射光谱其单色性较好。这些结论对于微型X射线管的结构设计和出射光谱单色化应用具有一定的理论指导意义。  相似文献

Rapid technological advancement has multiplied people’s exposure to ionizing radiations greatly. Widespread applications of radiation in different fields (such as agriculture, radiation therapy and scientific research fields) require that humans be protected against unnecessary exposure. In this study, mass attenuation coefficient (μm), half-value layer, mean-free path, effective atomic number (Zeff) and exposure buildup factor have been calculated for xBaO–20ZnO–(80???x)B2O3 (x?=?5, 10, 15, 20 and 25?mol%) glass systems. The mass attenuation coefficients of the selected glasses were calculated using simulation method of MCNP5 code. The simulation results have been compared with the experimental data and Xcom at the energies 223.02, 252.98, 287.28, 340.83, 398.97, 481.59, 562.68 and 662.00?keV. The agreement amounts of the mass attenuation coefficient values are from 0.2% to 2.8% and from 0.2% to 6.98% for MCNP5 and Xcom relative to experimental results, while the Monte Carlo program values are higher than that obtained by experimental data, using Xcom and MCNP5 code. The glass sample having the highest value of BaO content show high radiation shielding properties. It indicates that the MCNP5 code can be used for estimation of radiation interaction parameters where experimental results are not available.  相似文献

基于MCNP程序对300#研究堆首炉堆芯进行精细建模,通过并行计算方式得到了实验临界棒位下堆芯的有效增殖因数为1.002 29,与临界值之间的相对误差为0.229%,验证了物理模型的正确性。探讨并解决了并行计算的中断与接续问题,提出了体通量计数与点探测器计数应用中的合理化建议,即对大体积空间计数时尽量使用体通量计数。计算值与实验值对比结果表明:两者在3 MW功率水平下热中子通量密度相差4.6%,符合得较好。  相似文献

In this paper we study the analytical and statistical results of estimating the gamma dose rate at pool access floor in TRR when the core shield accidentally decreases to some non-permitted levels. Due to the risk of experimental techniques, we use the analytical and statistical methods. In normal conditions (no risk),the discrepancies between experiment and two methods are justified and it is found that for such problems we have to normalize these methods to experimental results as follows: the analytical method by factor 0.13 and MCNP by 1.7.  相似文献

 散射问题是高能辐射成像研究中的一个重要问题,采用蒙特卡罗模拟来确定散射对提取客体信息的影响是一种重要的研究手段。简单介绍了FXRMC和MCNP4B程序的特点及其记录方式;在确保相同输入参数的条件下,针对不同的照相模型进行了对比计算。结果表明两个程序计算的散射照射量相对差别小于5%,说明这两个程序具有较高的符合程度。通过与实验结果的比较发现,这两个程序模拟的散射分布与实验结果基本一致,均可用于高能闪光照相的模拟研究。还给出了在散射检验方面的一些建议。  相似文献
